I had such an amazing experience booking with camping adventures. We booked the 2021 North Trail camper and it was perfect for our family of 5. The camper was really clean and spacious. I had accidentally given the wrong campsite number but the owner Elizabeth was really nice and reached out to make sure it was delivered to the correct one. We also had questions on how to work the water heater and again the owners Anthony and Elizabeth guided us through it without hesitation. Will definitely be booking again with them in the future. read more

There's actually a live person that answers the phone and they are very thorough with answering questions.

We booked through the Leo Carillo website n we couldn't be happier!!! It was such a wonderful surprise to have a fireplace in the main area!!! Heather was great with her customer service n the trailer was delivered early n very clean. If i was to buy another travel trailer, this would be the one. We ran out of water on the last night, but it was due to our usage. We will definitely use this company again when we camp at locations that offer their services!!!! read more

Camping Adventures were great to work with! We rented the 2550 w/ the triple bunks & it worked out great. There was even room for a pack n play Heather was so helpful in answering my questions regarding drop off and accommodating our specific needs too with that. The trailer was clean and very nice. We would definitely rent again from here! read more

I recently rented, and me and my family had such a great experience from booking, communication, delivery l, set up. Everything was great the camper was clean and exactly as described. We will definitely be renting again read more

I'll start with why I do NOT want to write this review. The Cons. Cons - Camping Adventures will not have any RVs available when I need one. You will not be sorry if you rent with them. My first time renting with CA was Oct, 2020. I have used them at least four times since including last week for a quick two-day vacay. Long story short. I totally screwed up and provided Heather with the incorrect information for my location for the TWO RVs we rented! I received her call while we were packing up to hit the road for Point Mugu Thornhill Broome. As a Travel Agent, I'm embarrassed to say I did NOT read my CA Parks & Rec confirmation, I skimmed it. As a result, we were booked for Point Mugu Sycamore Canyon. OMG! Totally ALL my fault. Heather is AMAZING. In addition to trying to see if there were any available spots at my preferred location P.M.T.B while they were there trying to deliver the RVs, she gave me a few contact numbers to try to secure a same-day cancellation at P.M.T.B. Unfortunately, no luck with that. CA delivered our RVs to P.M.S.C. The Pros - Amazing reliable and dependable RVs, professionalism at its finest, great customer service, fair prices, accommodating, easy to reach, Plain and simple Heather and Camping Adventures are AWESOME! Hands down! You will not be wrong, or sorry when you rent with Camping Adventures. GUARANTEED! Heather, thank you for saving our mini staycation read more

This was our first time camping. Camping Adventures was on time and set up everything quickly, Was a little disappointed...awning was broken and didn't offer compensation-said our spot had plenty of shade any ways and the awning was a "convenience item" as is the air conditioning (apparently no guarantee convenience items will work). Kind of a big deal to me. Also texted when we left and said we broke the stairs. Would definitely do a walk though and note any damage before they leave after set-up. read more

Another successful Camping Adventure!! This is my 4th year renting from Camping Adventures for a girls weekend, what a great time! Enjoy a beachside fire, a comfortable trailer at night and watch the surfers and dolphins in the ocean over breakfast. Who says you can't camp in January?! Prompt service & a very clean camper. Highly recommend! read more

My husband and I rented the Forest River Evo T2550 for 5 nights. This is a beautiful trailer, and the a/c was awesome to have since the weather was much warmer than I expected. We had the trailer set up for us at the Leo Carrillo Campground #127 and had a fabulous time! Thank you Camping Adventures! See you next time! read more

This was our first time renting a trailer and it was so easy and reasonable. The staff were great to work with, great communication. The trailer was clean, newer looking and the A/C worked awesome for the 100° weather we experienced during our weekend stay at Lake Casitas. We will be using them again, Camping Adventures made our stay a memorable one. read more

I wish more companies were like this one. Camping Adventures did everything they said they would do, and more. They were on time, extremely courteous and friendly, have a great product and were very reasonable price wise. The trailer was all hooked up when we arrived with the air conditioning on and everything ready to go. We were met by one of the owners, April, who was as nice as could be. She explained all the workings of their equipment and answered all of our questions. The packing lists that are provided well in advance really helped us be totally prepared for our trip. The beds were very comfortable and the triler was roomy and inviting. Seeing that the tempuature outside was well over 100 for the duration of our stay, the AC worked like a charmed and saved the trip. I would rent from these people over and over. April runs a great company. read more

First time renting a trailer, as I have been debting whether or not I should buy one.... Well at the end of this camping trip, I will continue to rent and rent with Camping Adventures. They took the stress out of owning, towing and all the other maintenance that comes with having a trailer. The trailer we rented was the 23' EVO, it looked and felt brand new! I did a lot of research before renting from Camping Adventures, as every other company seemed to nickle and dime you for everything. One flat rate, and very reasonable at that... It was a stress free transactions, from the beginning to the end. I look foward to many more Camping Adventures!! I HIGHLY recommend Camping Adventures!! read more

April was amazing on getting me a trailer the week of camping trip on the beach. The trailer was very nice, Clean and very well taken care of. I totally recommend Camping Adventures for your next camping adventure read more

What a great company! Friendly service, helpful and made our camping trip a pure pleasure. April is wonderful. What do they do? They bring the trailer to your reserved site, hook it up and leave it ready for you to enjoy. Their packing list is helpful for those of us who don't camp much. We had our trailer at Lake Casitas and it made the dirt and heat much more pleasant to bear. We were the envy of the family reunion! As C.N. said, you need to check to see where they deliver the trailers. The only thing I would suggest to Camping Adventures would be to have photos or layout diagrams of the trailers on their website. The campers are newer, clean and in great condition. It is always nice to see a layout or something to get a general feel of the type of trailer you will be staying in for a few days. Looking forward to our next trip. With Camping Adventures it is always happy camping! read more

For the annual family camping trip at Thornhill Broome Beach I decided to rent an RV since my part of the family live about 6 hours away. Came across Camping Adventures and reserved a trailer for 4 nights. It was totally awesome to get to the campground after a long car ride, have the trailer setup, and then picked up several days later. Lots less hassle than picking up an RV, driving it there myself, and the added tasks of refueling and dropping it off by a set time. The trailer was functional and clean. The awning provided a nice shady area during parts of the day when the sand can get very hot and the sun is too much. We had an ice chest for drinks just so the refrigerator was not being open and closed so much. April and Bill both provided great service and communication. I expect Camping Adventures become a part of our plans in future years. read more

I couldn't have been happier with the service I received before and after my rental period! Their customer service is top notch, the set-up and take-down was seamless...all we had to do was show up, have fun, then leave a few days later! April was great to work with, promptly returning phone calls and emails, answering all my questions and sending me helpful check lists to make sure I didn't forget to bring anything. The camper was neat and clean and the perfect size for us. I will definitely be renting from "Camping Adventures" again in the near future. Thank you! More companies should be as straightforward, professional, honest and customer-oriented as you! It was a pleasure! We look forward to our next "adventure"! read more

We couldn't have asked for a better camping service to make our first family camping trip, with our 3 year old daughter, the best possible!!! The founder/owner, April, is a great asset in not only picking your camping location but also deciding what size trailer will be best for your needs. My husband and I had never used a trailer, and April gave us a thorough walk through within 10 minutes - we felt like quick experts! April even checked in via text the next day to make sure all was going well. We must have had novice written all over our faces, but April never made us feel that way. We will definitely be using Camping Adventures for every future camping trip. I grew up with family motorhome trips and camper van adventures, and even my 75 year old father, who used to drive the various family vehicles agreed that Camping Adventures is the way to go - enjoy the trip, without the hassle!!! read more

We camped at Leo Carrillo for an end of summer trip and rented a trailer from Camping Adventures. The whole experience was excellent. Paul had the trailer all setup by the time we arrived. We are avid campers and in between owning another RV. Contacted Heather at camping adventures and had a great experience. The trailer was clean, they were right on time as scheduled. Last week while camping in a trailer provided by Camping Adventures, my wife and i were called "lazy campers," but you know what, I don't care! For kids, spending a week in a campground provides memories that they will never forget, and Camping Adventures helped us do that for our kids. We've rented from this company twice and have enjoyed the best service and two great camping experiences. Thank you, Camping Adventures. read more

We love Camping Adventures! My family and I had an awesome time at Point Magu! It was so easy and hassle free. They deliver the RV and set it up for you. Couldn't have gone better. April was amazing! We had reserved 4 sites at Sycamore Canyon, but they were unassigned. April wanted to drop off our RVs early and asked if she could try to make arrangements with the rangers for campsite assignments. Of course, we said yes. She was able to get us all sites together which made for a great trip for all. The orientation to the RV was great, and quick, the units are well-kept and clean. We would definitely come back to Camping Adventures the next time we need a delivery/set-up/pick-up RV rental. read more

Fantastic service, in what I believe can be a shady industry. We rented a trailer just last week for a beach-front family camping trip. April was very professional from the get go, sending photos and pricing the day I requested it. She didnt haggle on pricing and details (the other guys seem to get you on delivery, clean up, generator usage, etc), it was one simple price. The agreement was straightforward. She delivered the trailer 5 minutes early and picked it up right on time. And oh-man, she parked it right on the first try (for those of us who have attempted that, it's not easy.) She explained how to use it without taking too much time, trusting us to take care of it. The trailer was new, clean and perfect for our family. We used to own an RV but I now realize this is the way to go. Can't wait to do it again. read more

Camping Adventure is the only way to go! April and Rick were amazing! We appreciated the rapid replies to our calls, emails, voicemails, and texts! LOVED this! My boyfriend and I went camping for the weekend and we arrived to what appeared to be a brand new trailer. We rented at 25 ft EVO and loved the layout, decor, and quality. She even had us hooked up to cable! April provided A+ customer service every step of the way. It was so nice to be able to just show up and enjoy the weekend. Thank you April! I will be recommending and using this service again!!! read more

Such an awesome company to work with. April and the team couldn't have made it any easier! Great quality RV as well!

We have rented from them twice for two different locations. This is such a wonderful alternative to tent camping. The kitchen and access to a private bathroom was heaven while having all the access to the wonderful outdoor adventures that come along with tent camping. They provide you a "packing" list and helpful tips which were very nice not having rented or stayed in a trailer before. We really liked that they drop off and pick up the trailer to your reserved spot and we were not left trying to maneuver an unfamiliar vehicle in a tight spot. I would check with the company if there is a location you want to stay but it is not listed on their website. We wanted to stay at McGrath beach and when I asked, they said they could deliver to this location. You are responsible for your campsite reservation; the trailer reservation is something separate. At McGrath we used the trailer for a weekend camping trip and didn't have hookups. We easily made it through the weekend with water, and the generator. We have also stayed at Casitas with full hook-ups and it was like having a hotel room in nature. We had access to all the conveniences without the time restraints that are usually listed at campsites due to the generator use. I will use the trailers again on our next camping adventure! read more

Thanks again, April, for making our annual family camping vacation so great! We look forward to our Lake Casitas trip and we have always had fantastic experiences with you and your trailers. Your trailers are always clean, well maintained and huge! We had rain on one of our days and have two boys, 5 and 3. We were worried about how long we could stay inside with them, but the trailer was so big they could "run" around inside and be just fine. We look forward to our next trip renting from you. Hope we can make it happen again this year. read more
