I had accidentally given the wrong campsite number but the owner Elizabeth was really nice and reached out to make sure it was delivered to the correct one. We also had questions on how to work the water heater and again the owners Anthony and Elizabeth guided us through it without hesitation. We booked through the Leo Carillo website n we couldn't be happier!!! It was such a wonderful surprise to have a fireplace in the main area!!! Heather was great with her customer service n the trailer was delivered early n very clean. If i was to buy another travel trailer, this would be the one. I'll start with why I do NOT want to write this review. The Cons. Cons - Camping Adventures will not have any RVs available when I need one. You will not be sorry if you rent with them. My first time renting with CA was Oct, 2020. I have used them at least four times since including last week for a quick two-day vacay. Long story short. I totally screwed up and provided Heather with the incorrect information for my location for the TWO RVs we rented! I received her call while we were packing up to hit the road for Point Mugu Thornhill Broome. As a Travel Agent, I'm embarrassed to say I did NOT read my CA Parks & Rec confirmation, I skimmed it. As a result, we were booked for Point Mugu Sycamore Canyon. OMG! Totally ALL my fault. Heather is AMAZING. In addition to trying to see if there were any available spots at my preferred location P.M.T.B while they were there trying to deliver the RVs, she gave me a few contact numbers to try to secure a same-day cancellation at P.M.T.B. Unfortunately, no luck with that. CA delivered our RVs to P.M.S.C. This was our first time camping. Camping Adventures was on time and set up everything quickly, Was a little disappointed...awning was broken and didn't offer compensation-said our spot had plenty of shade any ways and the awning was a "convenience item" as is the air conditioning (apparently no guarantee convenience items will work). Kind of a big deal to me. Also texted when we left and said we broke the stairs. Would definitely do a walk though and note any damage before they leave after set-up. read more

For the annual family camping trip at Thornhill Broome Beach I decided to rent an RV since my part of the family live about 6 hours away. Came across Camping Adventures and reserved a trailer for 4 nights. It was totally awesome to get to the campground after a long car ride, have the trailer setup, and then picked up several days later. Lots less hassle than picking up an RV, driving it there myself, and the added tasks of refueling and dropping it off by a set time. The trailer was functional and clean. The awning provided a nice shady area during parts of the day when the sand can get very hot and the sun is too much. We had an ice chest for drinks just so the refrigerator was not being open and closed so much. April and Bill both provided great service and communication. I expect Camping Adventures become a part of our plans in future years. read more

They were on time, extremely courteous and friendly, have a great product and were very reasonable price wise. The trailer was all hooked up when we arrived with the air conditioning on and everything ready to go. We were met by one of the owners, April, who was as nice as could be. She explained all the workings of their equipment and answered all of our questions. The packing lists that are provided well in advance really helped us be totally prepared for our trip. The beds were very comfortable and the triler was roomy and inviting. Seeing that the tempuature outside was well over 100 for the duration of our stay, the AC worked like a charmed and saved the trip. I would rent from these people over and over. They bring the trailer to your reserved site, hook it up and leave it ready for you to enjoy. Their packing list is helpful for those of us who don't camp much. We had our trailer at Lake Casitas and it made the dirt and heat much more pleasant to bear. We were the envy of the family reunion! As C.N. said, you need to check to see where they deliver the trailers. The only thing I would suggest to Camping Adventures would be to have photos or layout diagrams of the trailers on their website. The campers are newer, clean and in great condition. April wanted to drop off our RVs early and asked if she could try to make arrangements with the rangers for campsite assignments. Of course, we said yes. Fantastic service, in what I believe can be a shady industry. We rented a trailer just last week for a beach-front family camping trip. April was very professional from the get go, sending photos and pricing the day I requested it. She didnt haggle on pricing and details (the other guys seem to get you on delivery, clean up, generator usage, etc), it was one simple price. The agreement was straightforward. She delivered the trailer 5 minutes early and picked it up right on time. And oh-man, she parked it right on the first try (for those of us who have attempted that, it's not easy.)
