I get a call today saying it will be $25 plus $5 each eye for them to email results or if I pick up will still be $35 per person to pull the files. Is this legal? We have had retina scans previously by other eyecare drs in Summerville and have gotten results the same day wihile we were there at no extra cost. I called state LLR licensing, there is no record for Monarch eyecare or Diane monarch?? Other than them billing our medical insurance for result of this exam which just on principal I don't see necessary (just a way to get another payment for what was already paid) the only other way to get result is for us to pay them to retrieve the records. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau to look into this. I would avoid this office in the future.
