Cost is very high for service that gets interrupted. It's annoying when you deliberately interrupt service to get customers to call just so you can harass about paying for bad service! Coz will claim that "everything looks good on our end" but the service is still not functioning well! read more

Loved my interaction at this Cox location. I was greeted immediately with a smile. Was checked in and was seen in about 10 minutes. The agent who helped me was nice but I don't remember his name. The standout person was Susana. Wow, what an awesome woman. She took the time to make sure I was comfortable waiting, got to know me a bit, she made me laugh and she smiled the whole time. I wish everywhere I go could have more Susanas! Thank you! read more

Terrible terrible service. Left a full review at the FLW and Scottsdale road location. Cox is the worst internet service you can sign up for. Extremely spotty and the customer service is non-existent. You will be paying for something that doesn't even work. BUYER BEWARE read more

While it's not the greatest customer service of all time when something goes wrong, I was just forced to switch to CenturyLink about a month ago after moving into a new apartment and let me tell you - Cox is EONS better than CenturyLink. CenturyLink has cancelled my internet installation service three times now (without even telling me), and I haven't had internet at my place now for over a month! Seriously, if you're in the Phoenix, AZ area and are looking to choose between Cox and CenturyLink - please do yourself a favor and go with Cox. read more

Terrible customer service. I was forced to come to store as I was hung up on 3 times in a two hour period today to try to fix the issue.

I am trying to get a customer service number to Cox and even tried to call the store number. But it keeps disconnecting me. I am very upset.

I received in the mail an offer for Cox that seemed far too good to be true. I decided to hop by this Cox Store to check it out with the employees. I was greeted promptly when walking through the door, and the employee immediately recognized the deal when I showed him the letter. We walked to his computer where he looked at my account and, true to my suspicion, it was too good to be true (not the employee's fault). So, if you need service on your Cox account I recommend visiting this store if you are in the area and have the chance. The employees were nice (the ones I met) and they seemed to know what they were doing. The place is bright, open, and airy and seems a bit futuristic. Parking is a bit of a pain -- be careful when coming in/out. read more

COX I am currently paying $86 for 150mb of high speed internet service, which in reality has been more around 30-50mb if it's working, which working is a 20% success rate at that. I have called and chatted to customer service seeking a resolution to my slow and spotty Internet at least 4 times since February 15th and have been blown off getting a prewritten generic answer "Due to COVID the increase of people working from home has caused our services to not be reliable". Which I get it, COX was not prepared for the large amounts of people using the internet all at once but let me tell you what else they are not prepared to stop doing and that's taking your overpriced monthly payment... right? So I asked polity to all the representatives to please be credited for the months of spotty service and again I get the generic answer. "Our system will automatically refund you for any problems or outages I am unable to refund you" which let me assure you their system will refund you $5 if you're lucky and only take in consideration of 10% of the actual outages. Keep in mind I'm paying almost $100 a month for Internet that is not usable at all... due I get to say. "sorry I'm not paying this month because you did not supply our agreed product I purchased?" NO they will shut you off. Oh can I switch service providers? NO they own the contract for my neighborhood no other service providers are allowed to provide quality services in their area... As we speak I'm sitting on my couch on my cell phone writing this Because guess what there is no Internet again. So what does it take for me to get what I pay for? Spamming every social media outlet telling all my friends maybe protesting? Will see where this goes I will keep you all posted thanks for listening to me vent. Stay safe GOD Bless you all. read more

Stopped by to get help with an issue regarding establishing service and they were of zero help! Unhelpful staff, awful customer service - would rate less than zero stars! read more

If you could give a business zero stars this would be the one. It's always without exception within the first week after you pay your monthly bill that during the first weekend your Internet will magically just shut off. Don't worry they'll still charge you for a full fucking month but they sure as fuck don't make sure you get your value. If you can at any cost go to a competitor because it is a guarantee as Jesus walked on water that you will get a better deal. read more

Anyone considering COX Homelife because of their great commercials, think again. Our experience has been a nightmare since the system was installed on 1/6/18. Glitches abound with their email spamming the daylights out of you with prompts to docu sign what you have already signed. Software problems with their app meaning that you can remote lock your front door from inside the house but not from a block away. Kinda defeats the point of having a remote system if you cannot operate it remotely. Problems with their hardware causing them to replace the whole door lock when they had just installed it. And the most currant being problems with their firmware and as I speak it is still not resolved. However the worst problem is with their customer service. I have literally fought them for six weeks to get the refund that they owe me due to their inability to fix our situation. No returned calls, promised calls from mysterious supervisors never taking place. It is completely clear that COX could care less about their customers. Then yesterday I discovered that Cox and cancelled out service without telling me meaning that my home was no longer being monitored for fire or theft. No idea how long we have been without protection. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that he would call me right back and explain my current situation to me as well as his actions I'm cutting off my service. No call was received. Then I called back today and was told he would call within the hour. That was 9:30 am and it is now 7:00 pm. I went online and found a review posted August 14/17 which completely mirrors my situation so this is not new, neither is it isolated. The poor soul wrote in his review that now he has to settle for waiting for his contract to expire so that he could cancel his contract. So trust me, walk on by COX Homelife. They do not deliver. read more

Go to store once, they give us a box to try on one wall, does not work. Go to the store a second time, they give us an option to use a coaxial cord, it does not work. Go to the store a third time & they set us an "appointment" with a tech Sunday to get it fixed. Ruins our plans & we sit at home all day for a tech not to show up. Tomorrow is Monday & I work from home still with no internet. I called this evening (Sunday). Since it's MLK day, Cox has someone coming out Tuesday 10-12. We will see if they show up. They are going to refund us 4 days unused. What they won't refund is the wasted gas & roughly 10 hours of time on this. Terrible experience. 0/5 stars if possible. read more

Cox has the worst customer service. They tell you the wrong information and cancel appointments without an explanation. They refuse to put a supervisor or manager on the phone. COX is the most expensive wast of money and time. I was a customer for over 7 years, but got tired of paying too much for high speed internet only. Not sure how this crappy company stays in business. We definitely need more competition in Arizona. Cox has the worst customer service of any company in business. They can raise your rates in the middle of a contract but you can't cancel or they will charge you a termination fee. A warning to Cox customers: Cox Communications called me on Monday offering to upgrade me to their Ultimate plan. I told them I was at work and I needed to talk to my wife before purchasing anything. I let the sales agent give me her pitch and explain all the options. I specifically said I was open to it but needed time to decide. She said no problem, she would set up the order and I could confirm or decline it. Great. The next morning (Tuesday) I receive several emails telling me that my monthly charges are going up, they're going to install a Contour TV cable in my house, and they have already mailed me a panoramic WiFi modem. I confirmed NOTHING. I go to work that day thinking I could sort it out later. My wife texts me around noon saying a Cox technician is at the house installing the cable and the WiFi has stopped working. This is when my work day was interrupted, again, this time for an hour over the phone with four different Cox agents. This is when I learn that the plan we were on before, Premier (150mbs down), was phased out two years ago and we were grandfathered in. This is when I learn that they preemptively changed the modem on their side, invalidating our existing modem, before they even delivered us the new modem that I didn't ask for. I guess they assumed we'd be okay with going without internet for as long as it took to ship the new modem. This is when I learn that when the sales agent went against my wishes and signed me up for the Ultimate plan (which would bump our rate up by $45/month) we permanently lost the ability to return to our original plan. Instead we have to downgrade to 100mbs down at $5/mo. less. Besides being a horrible deal, they have cheated us out of their obsolete plan and taken up hours of our time. We have to return the modem and the Contour TV stuff to the store once it's mailed to us, and I will soon spend probably another hour over the phone telling them that they have lost two customers. If you're on the Premier plan, watch out for calls from agents offering to upgrade you. Don't let them get two words in because they will upgrade you regardless. read more

Dear Cox, I am reaching out via, email, FB, Twitter, Yelp, and on any other platform I can think of because we have had issues with our WiFi for over a month now. After having THREE techs come to the house, each tell us something different, and still not fixing anything we are beyond frustrated. This does not include the 5 phone calls we've made that were all a complete waste of time (hours) because again, everyone told us something different and none of it has worked. Additionally, we've swapped out our router AND someone convinced us to upgrade our plan. Which, as you can guess, DIDN'T WORK! I have to do a lot of work from home on my computer and phone and have gone over my data at the end of my last cycle and am already over this month and it's only (5 days in) because the Wifi consistently goes out! I would have tried to be more cognizant of my use at home BUT your people keep assuring us that it has "been fixed" when clearly no one knows what the F they are talking about. Amongst the MANY BS things we were told on the phone, these were two of my favorites: "Open your web browser... go to Google and type in, 'Popcorn.' Did anything come up? yeah? sounds like it's working..." "You know what would help? Have you considered adding a landline in your home?" Seriously? "Reset your router..." yeah, no shit. We've done that 400 times! After articulating time and again the the issue was inconsistency and slow download, we're made to feel each time as if it's something we're doing. Stop making your customers feel stupid. We've run tests over and over and we're only getting 1/4 of the download speed that your rep convinced us to "upgrade" to. It's 2016! All I want in life is the damn wifi we're paying for and for it to work decently. You're training and service are deplorable and this is my last and desperate attempt to fix this. Please fix this before all my hair falls out. Hating hard, Je read more

Cox sucks. A year ago when I moved into my new place I tried to get internet only. They gave me such a hard time, then I ended up with an Internet and tv package that I didn't really want. Fast forward a year later and my usual bill is twice what it was. Turns out they jacked up the prices, no surprise. So I call and cancel the tv service that I never wanted in the first place. Now I have to wait in line at this store just to drop off the receiver. But no, you can't just drop off the receiver, you have to wait for receipt from an agent. And that's where I've been for the past 20 minutes, with 10+ people ahead of me. read more

The past month has been the worst customer service as well as connection I have ever seen. I have the ultimate package which is SUPPOSED to give me download speeds of 300 + and Upload speeds of 30+ unfortunately I am getting around 150 Download and 2.80 Upload.. we have had over 10 techs out here to check the issues. First they tried to upgrade our modem and router saying it was an issue... I bought the EXACT model I was told 6 months ago so they would stop trying to up sell me on their crap. After having all these techs out and telling us that they will have an engineer look at it we decided renting one of their modems/routers to shut them up about it being out equipment. The equipment they have is putting out way worse speeds than ever. Each tech that has come out here has basically unplugged our equipment, restarted it and when the issue still continues we get an "I don't know what the problem is" response.. this is really unnerving since we pay over 100$ a month on this service. I work from home and have been unable to work due to the speeds being so slow and inconstant the past month. If I am not online working I am not getting paid.. so here we go a month of no pay. When calling customer support we have been given ridiculous people on the phone saying things as "your speeds are good" , "you can get 'up to' 300 mbps with the ultimate package" I believe if you are paying for what they are offering then you NEED to provide the speeds to go with it. I even had a tech on the phone say that "You still have internet right?" yes, I have the slowest internet in the world should I STILL pay 100$ a month for CRAP? no! After having this last tech out today to see what the problem is I have absolutely HAD it..... we were promised to have the same techs that were out here last time and the supervisor and we were given some guy that just started working for cox and couldn't perform any task to help us. Cox Communications is ran by a whole bunch of idiots obviously when looking at all the comments just from TODAY. No one cares, no one takes the time to help you and no one has the right EQUIPMENT to fix the issues... I never knew of an internet service that is full of "I don't know what to tell you's " Cox you are wasting your money sending techs out that can't fix our problem, you are wasting my money, time and effort to work from home because you are all so careless as to helping any one that needs help. Instead of fixing our issue right the first time you send over 8 techs to my house, have me wait around all day for you guys to show up (if you do... mind you I have had a lot of techs not show up to scheduled appointments ) and most importantly word of mouth isn't looking so hot for you guys. Check my account - it's under Patrick Cooley/ Alyssa Tampourlos there you will see how many NOTES and what not are on our account. We don't call you because we are bored and want to blow smoke up your ass, all we are asking is for what we are paying you assholes GOOD MONEY for. If I really had the time to put every single tech and rep I have spoken to through you guys I will. Check this posting as a warning because I am ABSOLUTELY fed up with your shit. read more

I had to return my cable boxes and wanted to go anywhere, but the store on Scottsdale and Williams drive due to the horrible experience I had there before. I found is location, using the interwebs, checked Yelp, and decied to give it a go. As I entered the store we I was quickly greeted by four hellos all from employees, three of them were with other customers, but still managed to give me a warm welcome. The store itself seems new, very clean, bright, and cheerful. The lady that was supposed to take my name and reason for coming in was busy helping someone one the phone, but about three seconds after my juggling act with my two cable boxes and remotes almost came to a crashing end, Ted(tastic) came over and rescued me. he was very polite and quick with returning all the items. He also let me that I had modem that I needed to turn in as well. After having a "what the heck is that" look on my face he let me know what wording was on the product. I said, "that doesn't sound familiar" and he went and got a similar modem for me to see so I knew what to look for. Thanks, Ted(tastic)! The service here is a a complete 180 from what I received at the other location, thus the five stars. My rating may be skewed, but deffinetly check on this location at the Camelback Colonnade for any needs you might have with Cox Communications. FYI: this location does product pick-ups, product drop offs, and is a payment center. read more

While it's really hard to think about being "a fan" of Cox itself, I'll give the Cox Solutions store and staff on Camelback a 4th star based on the quick and courteous service this evening as I nigh gleefully turned in the DVR, signifying total termination of cable TV service in favor of free over the air TV supplemented with a bit of streaming. Arriving about 6 P.M. on a Tuesday evening, there were no customers in the store when I arrived. Staff of at least four were on hand, laughing and socializing amiably, but one broke off instantly to ask how he could help, and did so immediately, accepting the DVR and looking up the account to check-in the returned equipment, with no more than a moment of surprised expression on seeing the cable TV services were terminated completely. He gave me a receipt for the equipment and I was on my way, mission accomplished, in less than 5 minutes. It's a bright, clean, appealing store front set up much like a Verizon or other cellular store where you walk in, sign in, and wait your turn. Not a single other customer entered the store in my few minutes, though two or three were approaching the door as I left. If today's single experience is evidence of the regular scheme of things - after 6 P.M. mid week would seem to be an opportune time of arrival. The store sits in an out-parcel building in the shopping plaza on south side of Camelback, just west of 20th street, diagonally across from Best Buy. There's no store front on Camelback, so you will have to enter the shopping center to find the store, which is diagonally across from Best Buy. While I'm quite happy to be back to free TV, in general I have not been displeased with Cox service. I'm still on Cox Internet, at least until I can find a less-expensive alternative that meets all my needs, and am happy to have stores such as these in the community as an additional convenience and resource. In ' n ' out in less than 5 minutes, you're experence may vary, but it's hard not to be a fan of that. read more

Short and not so sweet. It would appear that the lack of competition in the Phoenix market allows Cox Communications the latitude to indulge their lack of business integrity and consistently take advantage of their circumscribed customers. I want to personally congratulate Patrick Esser, Len Barlik, John Wolfe, and all the operational leadership in the Phoenix market for offering progressively inadequate internet service for the past 15 years I've been a customer. I'd like to also offer my gratitude for charging me 263% more (adjusted of course for inflation), than that first day I decided to "choose" a provider. This isn't a review about Cox as a service provider, but rather the customer service I received while in this Cox Residential Digital Solutions Store location. In preparation for moving into my new home, I called Cox and ordered a TV/Internet/Phone bundle. I later realized the bundle was out of my price range and called back to modify my order to exclude the digital phone service. The order to send out the phone equipment was already processed and I received a package containing the equipment at my residence. A quick phone call to Cox resulted in directions to return the equipment to a store nearby - enter my visit to this location. From the time I parked to the time I returned to my vehicle, about 3 minutes passed. I was greeted upon entering the store and when I explained the reason for my visit, I was escorted to the cashier's desk where they quickly processed my return of the equipment and provided a receipt. No fuss, in and out. The gentleman seemed happy to help and that made me feel good about doing business with them. read more
