I wish I could leave 0 stars. The wait times are long and they don't even have a public restroom! They told me to go to the nearby restaurant. All I needed to do was drop off my equipment in the first place which should've taken less than a minute but yet I have to wait 25 mins; behind people making changes to their service, exchanging devices, etc and would generally take much longer to help. They SERIOUSLY need to reevaluate how they operate because I can't imagine a more inefficient & ineffective way. read more

Would be no stars if available. I have been a Cox customer for years but finally dropped tv as cost went up and got very little service. Now they have changed their email and I cannot get my emails from 3 different addresses. The tech obviously doesn't have a clue as I was told the changes were made only a short time ago but I have had this problem for over 6 months since they put in new servers in the east and why my account is in the east I don't know as we never had Cox 30+ years ago. No help at all and then they tell me I tried too many times with wrong password(LOL). What a joke! No customer service worth being called service. read more

Actually super easy to drop my cable boxes off. No line and an employee came to my car to help me with the boxes. Store looked newer, maybe remodeled? Saw 6 employees, only 1 other couple in the store with me. Maybe 4:20pm on a Monday is a great time to go. Who knows, but it was totally the opposite of what I thought.. My family has had an ongoing issue with Cox for six months. Tried to go and calmly and get the issue resolved today. When I walked in there was no one at the welcome desk / kiosk. I thought you signed your self personally, so I just put my first name and last initial and someone came up to me and said what are you doing. I thought it was very Curt and that started my visit off wrong. Luckily Tiffany was very helpful and patient with me and her manager Amanda was helpful to you. There was no way to get the issues resolved today but they gave me the customer service line, promised to make notes to please keep services on for 14 days, while we are making a conscious effort to get this resolved and then we're able to help me with an additional account that I had questions on. Cox in general has a long way to go for helping us with this issue but I thought these ladies did a good job today. read more

Have had cox for years. Been going to this solution center whenever I needed something. They NEVER have enough staff and the wait is always crazy. 2 people just opening the door, 1 person checking people into the wait line, but they can't actually provide service? When you get your turn in line, all the questions have to be sent back to a senior resource/manager, so you may as well employ the door holders at that point. Always in a bad mood after leaving this store. It's DMV-level bad. Hire more people and train them. 25 minutes just to get a receipt for returning an old DVR is ridiculous. read more

We use Cox only for internet services. We are moving. We called to notify them and schedule a time to have internet installed at new house. This translated to cox as scheduling is for TV services... uh no thank you. 5 calls later and they still have the account wrong and now internet is not working. I have had the same issue with Cox regarding overbilling for additional equipment ( in this case contour boxes) that I never had. For months I had not noticed because of their confusing way of billing statements. It took me months of calling and going in person to this branch on bell rd to have this issue resolved. After saying I would file a class action law suit against Cox communication for overbilling ( in other words Stealing customers money) they finally agreed to refund the total amount overbilled. PLEASE double check your bill and contact customer support over the phone since the representatives cant do anything at the branch. Dont get robbed by this company!! It seems that Cox Cable has an extreme ethics moral problem their employees All lye and have no issue with it. They do bait and switch. They tell you when you change your service that your current price is X number of dollars and then when you come in and bringing your equipment to upgrade and do what they ask you to do. The price is no longer honored from what it was on the phone till what time it is when you're in the building. And then the person behind the counter says oh I'm sorry I don't know what happened there's nothing I can do. So you're forced to accept and believe what that person is telling you although you know it's a lie. This company has no moral compass whatsoever they will lie cheat and steal from their customers and claim that they are giving you a valued service. If I could give them negative 50 stars I would if I could take the equipment and give it back to them and not have to worry about the internet to perform my business I would not have Cox Cable I will never have Cox Cable in my home other than their internet I hate them. If you could do business with any other company besides Cox Cable please do don't go through the headaches that we have gone through three hours on the telephone and hour-and-a-half in-store not worth it they don't care read more

Getting tired of the nightime slowdown. More lines, switches or whatever needs done. I pay for 150mbps . on my best day in the middle of the day I get half that. For the last 2 months past 6:30pm I get maybe 4-5 if I'm lucky. If anyone had good century link storys let me know. read more

"Scam Artist" Cox communication, your company is doomed to go out of business for screwing people over. I've been a loyal customer to these scumbags for 9 years since I moved here in AZ, and when I logged in to pay my bill on time I saw that the normal bill is $133 more than my normal bill. I called to find out why I'm being charge more than I should have, and she couldn't figure it out. so she transferred me to a different billing representative and she said that I have an outstanding phone modem that wasn't return in 2011. Be advise, I' am writing this complaint right now on March 2016......That's right 6 years after, and they are just now billing me about some outdated, obsolete modem that I supposedly had in 2011. I told the supervisor, how the F*** am I supposed to remember anything that happened in 2011? you're asking me to prove something I can't remember. BTW I tried going back in my account and bank account about any bills paid to see if the modem is paid and it doesn't go that far so there's no way of proving it's fully paid. I also told him that if I did have it and it did belongs to you, you probably have already gotten it back, because It either goes back to the owner or it goes in the trash because I don't hoard junks. All my modem and router are purchased by me and if these scumbag con artist wants to bill me and penalized me on an outdated piece of machine and lose a 9 year customer that's fine. Also over the years, I have had previous complaints, I'm having to call Cox because of a billing issues not right and wrong address. That's right constant billing issues and only that wrong F'n address 4 times even done by me personally and called and spoke to representative. after one year living in my new home they still couldn't get my address corrected in the system and gives me some lame excuse like the other person didn't do it right or it's the computer fault. So people, before you buy a contract with Cox "CON ARTIST" Communication. Read the reviews what other people have to say. These corporate giants are thieves and getting big in their britches. Several reasons I cut ties with Cox.. One being Internet speeds seem to fluctuate for some reason.. Not to mention the Wifi network doesn't even cover my small house.. My wife and I continually had to switch to LTE just to load web pages.. At one point I did notice some dramatic lagging on my phone.. then checked speeds through an app.. I paid for 50 mbs plan and was getting less than 20.. I waited a week and a half or two before calling, partly because I was busy working. I did try resetting the modem a few times, among other things, to no avail. So when I finally did get through to customer service.. the lady flips some switch on her end, and suddenly I'm back up to 50 mbs.. ?Very suspicious to me.. If I hadn't called the speeds most likely would have remained slow. I feel like Cox takes advantage of people who wouldn't know how to check their equipment otherwise.. this happened twice by the way.. Another instance which led to me canceling service was when I called to cancel the first time, and a guy with the retention department said he would be able to lower my bill and upgrade me to the new countour service... no charge.. I was paying $140 for basic cable and 50 mbs internet. Not even Disney jr.. as well as several other channels I enjoyed for my kids. which all the cable providers offered for free in there packages in Indiana and Ohio where I came from for far less than what I was paying... but anyways I did get waived an install charge, and my bill dropped for a month or two I think..., but sure enough then it jumped back to $140 , and when I checked it, I was getting billed for "contour" products and services... something I directly asked the salesman would certainly not happen... but there it is? ... O well.. Like everyone says Cox has a monopoly on the market out here... So there's not much an individual can do... Personally I switched to Century link and got the 40mbs for $30 ... upgraded my modem and stream Netflix, Hulu, and use a Tablo for local... Everything connects through my Roku, and I couldn't be happier.. internet is better than I had with Cox, and no more lagging! read more
