I came to visit my dad and help with an annual house cleaning. During said cleaning, I managed to…read moremess up a few cables behind the tv while dusting. Oops. Suddenly, no direct tv, no sound. We tried to reset the system, called the 1-800 number for Direct TV, etc. No help. So, I checked trusty Yelp, of course, and found this nice, local, independent Direct TV provider. They answered promptly and we're able to come by right away since they happened to be working nearby. I knew it was just a user error, some kind of configuration issue, but how wonderful to get the system all functioning properly and so quickly! It sure beat having to call my husband, who got left behind this trip, and have him try for an hour or more to walk us through the issue. The two guys who came were very pleasant as well as prompt; the price was reasonable for a service call. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again in a minute.

I tried to login to Orbitel to pay my bill. Entered the account number on my bill. Didn't work…read morebecause orbitel drops the leading zero of the acct number when logging in. No indication on the orbitel site to drop the leading zero. Fixed that. Forgot the user, so I clicked on forgot user name. I keyed in the acct number sans leading zero and got a security question. I answered and clicked continue. It reverted to the login screen witout displaying a user ID. Called support. Was told that the system sent an email with the iser id. I founf it in spam. I asked the rep why there is no response on the system to advise that the missing used ID was being sent by email. He said it is a KNOWN issue that has been escalated for a fix. He said the fix was requested numerous times but management simply will not fix it. I asked that my issue be escalated. He said "NO Chance" 2 pain in the BUTT issues that company refuses to fix so customers can navigate the Orbitel site better. OH well, theu're not the o ly game in town

Once I made my decision, he scheduled my installation within a couple of days and had me up and running. He was able to get a couple of fees waived and demonstrated in his office how to use the features and functions of the system and the remote. One of the best parts is the service he and his team provide, after my install I still had some questions and he was quick to respond and gave great advice over the phone. He also said if I still needed help to come into his office and he would work with me. This was much better than just calling Dish TV over the phone. Personal Service is great! Thanks Keith.. Picked up their (Nation Satellite) brochure & biz card - house closes & call set up service. Serviceman comes, needs to install dish ($100 fee / which I paid / didn't know). My Dad was here, I'm at work - install OLD & USED equipment & run cable wrong - reception issues -I called DirecTV customer service -their guy came and put in new equipment - he mentioned that DirecTV would have charged $25 maximum (all works much better). These guys (Nation Satellite) have yet to return my calls, messaged sales guy, office # & install manager ... feel taken & needless to say unhappy with Nation Satellite.
