Employees greeted me & were helpful regarding replacing a battery in my vintage Armitron Snoopy watch from the 90s. Pleasant interaction with both men working there. They were able to replace without damage while I waited. Price felt a wee bit high (a little under $20 with tax). But I know employees don't set prices so I'm kind of torn on a 4 or 5 star rating as that's my only gripe. Hmm, let's do 5 stars because I'm so glad they were able to help me so quickly. read more

Brought our garage door opener in because of the wired size battery. Very nice clerk replaced the battery and tested it with their equipment. He said it wasn't sending a signal, so replaced my original battery no charge. I went to Home Depot and bought a generic Genie garage door opener. When I was looking at my old opener, I noticed the battery was in backwards. I turned it around and the old opener started working. Ended up saving about $35 less gas to return the new opener to Home Depot. read more

Need to get two phones repaired. Total cost each would be $60 each. They did not have parts in stock so need to be ordered. Also, must be paid in advance. But they won't accept credit card over the phone. So I have to drive twenty miles just to pay in person. Then wait a week or two to drop off the phone for repair. Another 20 miles. Then drive another 20 miles to pick up the repairs. Three Covid exposures for one repair. read more

Amazing store and amazing employees. We were referred to this store for a battery for our 24V electric bike. We'd tried to replace batteries for another one a few years ago and also visited a Batteries store elsewhere. Then, we were out of luck. This time they knew exactly what we were looking for. I was very impressed with this place and they don't have it seems they can get it for you and the fact that they can replace the glass screens on cell phones is a definite plus. Don't expect a lot of chit-chat or overly friendly service but they will get the job done I was very impressed with their cell phone battery return policy had purchased a new one not long ago and for some reason it gave up the ghost which I attribute to just a bad battery went in they looked up my last purchase and swapped out the batteries no questions asked. Bought two new chassis batteries for our RV motor home We had the Rv in storage. Installed the batteries and initially seemed to work fine. We would go over to storage every few days and start the RV. Each time the batteries were dead. Took them back to the store and had them tested. They tested they had a full charge ( which of course they did as after jumping the coach and letting it run, it charged the batteries). So, we took the Rv to a mechanic thinking there was something else wrong. They checked the batteries and said they were not holding a charge. So, returned them to the store ( again) and they were very rude and said they would not refund us. Long story short. Took the batteries to our mechanic so we could at least get the core refund. And, the new batteries the mechanic installed work great. So, will not be returning to that store, and will not recommend it either. This is an update to the last review. The owner contacted us and was very nice. She worked out an agreement that was acceptable for both parties. We very much appreciated that. That's what makes a business one in which one wants to return to and recommend to others. Thank you! read more

Terrible experience. Drove 20 miles with my elderly father down to the store to pick up 6 batteries for his golf cart. Cashier was ringing him up and everything was going smoothly. Then we got the total and it was about almost $700 when we were expecting about $600. My father seemed confused and explained that he thought the price was $15 less per battery, he just saw them at another location the day before. The cashier seemed new and confused. I think he genuinely was. The older guy behind the counter seemed a bit rude and gave us some attitude "you saw that price on OUR website??" And my dad was sure he had. I began to doubt my aging father expecting of course the store would be right. We asked for the Gilbert store's phone number. They didn't seem in a hurry to find it. I pulled it up on my phone and called them. Sure enough they had the batteries for $15 less per battery. They explained that franchise stores can set their own pricing! The store we were standing in didn't tell us that, they just acted confused as to where my father could have seen a lower price. The younger cashier kindly called the manager on her cell phone but she declined to price match or do anything for us. Obviously we walked out with no batteries and a 40 mile wasted trip. The young guy seemed honest and the old guy seemed ready to take advantage of an old man. Disgusted with this place I won't be shopping here again. read more

Ive had my iPhone screen replaced not once but twice...and why you may ask??? Because I was stupid and did not take their advice the first break and get an Otter Box. This mistake however I did not make the second time. Now I would have expected a little lip, joke and some passive aggressive just for fun...but not one of the above mentioned happened...as a matter of fact the tech who was fixing my phone shared his latest debacle with his phone. See a few things happened in that moment...I didn't feel alone no did I feel like the "short bus" was waiting for me. Now for the tri-fecta....I had to buy a new battery. this chick made me wait while she finished her personal phone call. I was heated to say the least!. I decided to wait till we got home. So, today I went into my store and shared what happened...they were mortified! My phone had a replaced battery and was good to go in 8 minutes! I recommend THIS LOCATION ONLY! After leaving my first review Jessica did contact me. She heard my side of the story. She said that the screen was under warranty. However her employees wouldn't honor that warranty so I took the phone somewhere else. She said since I had taken the phone somewhere else there was nothing she could do except talk to her employees so that it wouldn't happen to anyone else. She said she needed to do more training of her employees. I explained I was having problems with the battery that they installed two and she didn't offer to do anything about that. She didn't offer to do anything about my issues at all she didn't offer to help compensate for the fact I had to buy two screens she didn't offer a store credit she didn't offer to try to fix the battery issue the only thing she said is that she would train her employees better so this didn't happen to anyone else. I took my phone to Batteries Plus to have the screen on my iPhone 6 replaced. When I got there the young man at the register was taking my information and he asked for my passcode to my phone. I told him I did not want to leave my passcode and asked why he needed it. He said it was to test the functionality of the phone and I asked him to test it when I was present once the screen was replaced and he said no because it is "a waste of his time." I was very hesitant and was not comfortable leaving my passcode, as I have very personal and financial information accessible on my phone. The manager, Waylon, stepped in and assured me that he would be the one repairing my phone and only using it to test the volume etc. I agreed to leave my code since they were so pushy about it I figured it was mandatory. When I went to pick up my phone the manager was testing the functionality in front of me as I asked from the get go- so I was confused as to why I left my code if he was, in fact, able to test it in front of me. The manager handed me my phone with trembling hands and the first thing I did was double tap my home button and saw the last app that was opened was my deleted photos and a couple other apps that I have not used recently. As I became very upset I asked the young man ringing me up if he knew a lot about phones and if he knew that if I double tapped my home button it would show me the last app that was opened and he said yeah, so I confronted him and asked why my deleted photos were the last things looked at and another photo app which also had personal photos. He chucked and said it wasn't him. I became angry that he took it as a joke. I asked if testing the functionality included going through my photos , he said no but testing the camera is. I understand that but to go to my photos, my deleted photos, and scroll 266 photos up to get to a photo is a VIOLATION OF PRIVACY! I confronted the manager and he would not make eye contact with me, all he said was he didn't go through my photos, basically calling me a liar when I had it right there that the last app opened on my phone were PERSONAL deleted photos. I am highly disappointed that the manager himself reassured me that he would only be using my code to test functionality, but instead he invaded my privacy. It does not take extensive research through my deleted photos- through any app at that to test the functionality. I put my trust in the manager and he let me down big time. I've never had such a terrible experience or have ever felt so violated! I paid $140 to be taken advantage of. For knowing about phones you would think he would know to swipe away the last app opened, but I showed up early to get my phone so maybe he just didn't have the time. I called corporate- IT IS NOT MANDATORY TO GIVE YOUR PASSCODE, no matter how hard they push you! Be very cautious if you plan on going to them for anything. read more

I went in for a Samsung phone battery. I asked normal consumer questions and the employee was very rude. She told me to buy the battery or leave and laughed sinister like. I got upset and told her she was being rude. She told me to leave or she would call the police. She made me feel like a 2nd class citizen and I will never return to that store again.
