This is the place! Peanuts while you wait, homemade potato chips with their homemade ranch! You can tell the owner really cares about their customers. Depending on which bartender/server you get this place can be OUTSTANDING. Wing Wednesday is a good time to drop by - the wings are large and their sauces are tasty. In the bar area they have some gambling machines, dart boards, and a pool table. They have new owners as of Winter/2019 but they seem to know what they are doing. The owners daughter is a bartender - and she's a cool person who pours solid drinks. She's a friendly brunette - ask her about her dog. Her mom runs the place with good attention to detail - on one occasion I had an exceptionally long wait for my food and she was back there grilling the cook on my behalf (sorry cook!) - downside would be some bartenders pour weak just under one ounce shots - It's sort of unfortunate to pay 6 - 7 dollars for a shot and have it show up in a tiny shot glass - The extra half ounce and pouring into a small glass goes a long way with making a customer like me happy. Still I understand liquor in the area is not cheap and they are trying to turn a profit. The pizza is also solid although I would avoid the mac and cheese pizza - it was intriguing so I gave it a go but it was sort of bland and I was a bit disappointed. Every other pizza I tried was good though. Overall, this is probably the best place to hang out in the area. The friendly service is A+ and the place is clean with a good menu... awful, havnt ordered here since the new owners took over, wings went up $5 per 15, the base price of the pizzas went up $2, i ordered extra olives on 1 and extra cheese on both, the pizzas were burnt, and wings had hardly any sauce,the total of my order was 83.50, WAY over priced, we ordered this as a to go, picked up just before closing (8). The Owners response was the reason the pizzas were so dark was because I ordered ex cheese, and to her the wings had plenty of sauce. We were offered 1 new pizza for a different time since they were now closed. My 12 year old chewed up and spit out a wing because it was so dry she couldnt swallow it, and thenone year old kept chocking on it and throwing it on the floor. My husband and I were craving pizza and chicken wings. After looking at the Yelp reviews, we saw that Cowboy Troy's had some good reviews so we decided to order to go. When my husband got home and opened the food boxes, we noticed that everything was burnt. We still decided, well maybe it won't be so bad. Well it was. Everything tasted burnt. On a 9-day vacation road trip from Colorado up through Wyoming and into Montana, after a long and fun day of washing seven 2-gallon buckets of gravel looking for sapphires at Gem Mountain with our ten-year-old daughter, we sought out our next place to stop for food. Upon positive recommendations from many, we drove an hour over to Victor MT, the location of a world-famous restaurant and bar - Cowboy Troy's (https://www.cowboytroys.com/). Our server Marie was friendly, welcoming us and ensuring our table was clean. We ordered one of their large brick oven specialty pizzas, the Kootenia Creek with white sauce. Our drinks came quickly, and the food followed and came out perfect! The pizza was very delicious and filling. The manager Kim was attentive in a positive way, ensuring all customers were enjoying their dining experience. Out of our 9 days of our road trip, eating at many different restaurants along the way, we easily and strongly recommend you visit Cowboy Troy's and order one of their yummy large brick oven pizzas. Place is going strong. Could not be more happy for them. Dinner was near full, including a party of 14! Now known now for their great hamburgers as well as those hand-made, brick-fired pizzas. Adjoining full bar is also great. Construction of Hwy 93 has really killed Victor's businesses, but now that is ending, so it will be easier for people living south of Victor to drive there rather than round-a-bout on the East Side Hwy. read more

It's been going downhill over the years since it was sold years ago, but my husband and I keep trying every year or so to see if it has improved. On our visit last Tuesday, the only things I liked about the place was the Pabst and the Mango Caribbean dressing on my salad. They claim they serve hand-pressed local beef for the hamburger. I ordered a plain burger, no cheese, medium rare. It came back crumbly and well-done. I sent it back to the kitchen. What came back was a medium well hamburger that was slathered thickly with mayonnaise. I like mayo, but I prefer to make it my choosing. It was running off the bun and taking over the taste of the meat, which was not a bad thing after all. I may be wrong, but it seemed that the hamburger meat was hand-pressed and frozen. As far as the chicken wings, I could pay less for chicken wings at the Finish Line across the street and get meatier tastier wings. read more

This is a solid pizza place. I have reviewed pizza places all over the country and Cowboy Troy's hold it's own against any of them. We went there this evening and ordered a couple of pizzas and some wings. Everything was great! I was pretty excited to hear they had PBR on tap. The bill for all that food and beer only came to 40 bucks! Probably one of the cheapest dinners I have had in years. The service was pretty good as well. The waitress was very nice, efficient and pretty easy on the eyes too. I will make it a point to eat at Cowboy Troy's every time I am in Victor. read more

I have been to this restaurant perhaps 20 times every time I sat in the dining area we get the same heart of hearing, rude waitress. She speaks excessively loud has zero tact and treats you like you're a little in the way and kind of a bother. Loved the pizza and wings here the other night. A group of six of us ate there on a Sunday. It was full but not crowded. I live in Victor and this was my first time in. I expected a bar atmosphere. The pizza oven and dining tables are in a separate room from the full bar, I was pleased. We watched the guys make the pizza and fire it in the huge brick oven. I love this place. I went this past week for some food and drinks. I couldnt believe they had Guinness!!! I was stoked about that, and at $3.50, thats so much cheaper than San Diego. I really liked their wings with the Cowboys Signature Sauce. My new favorite. Their Blodgett Creek pizza is to die for. The staff was nice and very friendly. The ambience is, well, kinda country. Very relaxing. They have a few slot machines against the wall in the bar area. I lost about $100, but then again i never win in any casino anywhere. My friend played $15 and walked away with $95 so it was nice that someone won. Well we gave it a shot based on a few recommendations from some friends and left sorely disappointed. Pizza was on our menu for the night and we ordered 2, one margarita style and a second with an assortment of meats and veggies. Both pizzas were undercooked and limp. ( Keep in mind my wife and myself are from the east coast and both past pizza cooks). We sent one pizza back in hopes they would fire a new one but they simply threw the sheet pan in the oven which did nothing for the undercooked bottom of the dough. The flavors were good but texture and satisfaction was not there. Aside from a couple soggy pizzas the food was good and the beer selection was up to par and cheap!
