Started the next day and reported that there was some dry rot that he would cover under our original estimate... no gouging here... Work was impeccable and clean up was complete... couldn't even tell that work had been done. Attention to detail was high. He replaced a board that was rotted and made sure that he primed the board to ensure that it wouldn't suffer with the upcoming rain. Overall, we're impressed and highly recommend Roofing Craftsman for your roofing needs. They were on time and delivered exactly what they promised on time and on budget. You can tell he takes great pride in his job and loves having a relationship with his customers. Of all the many quotes we got, Tommy's was truly the cheapest and you could also tell that he is passionate about the project, not just trying to sell you things you won't need. Our project got started behind schedule, but that was due to the solar panel company we had to work with (unrelated) and Tommy's crew being in high demand. The work crew finished within the estimated 5-7 days we were quoted and cleaned up each day before they went home. I could use more power but since my original installer went bankrupt, I have been unable to find a company to work on adding panels economically. Each company contacted wants to sell me a new system, which is not what I want, need, or afford. We went back and forth on this a couple of times in two or three separate calls and came to the mutual decision that the cost was not worth the additional "juice" I would get. Unfortunately, much of this is a result of both inflation (rising cost of materials due to tariffs) and the withdrawal of rebates and other benefits to installing solar. I still firmly believe installing solar is the correct thing to do for our environment and our world. I truly appreciated Diego's honesty in being upfront about the cost. For this reason, although it did not work out for us, I highly recommend working with this company if you want to install solar panels.
