Julie the owner answered and even though she was fully booked, she worked to find us a guide and had it all lined out an hour later we were thrilled! Breakfast, lunch and dinner with appetizers ready for you when you get off the river and a full 3 course dinner each night. The lodge is also an outfitter so they can arrange guided fishing trips for you. The location can't be beat - 20 minutes from the Bozeman airport, a huge property complete with river front footage of the Gallatin river. We are for sure future repeat customers.

Fo $116, one adult, one senior ticket you could ride the tram/gondolas and the ski lift all day. The tram took you up Lone Peak so far then you transfered to the gondola for the rest of the accent to 11,116 feet. It was well worth the price of the tickets. The staff were very friendly, gave helpful directions and instructions as well as informative. The whole area was clean and well laid out. There were plenty of food options and shopping, places to sit, chill, relax and enjoy the phenomenal views from gound kevel. Free parking. Riding the open air ski lift was super fun

The true test of an experience, however, comes when one sees how management deals with an issue. Our issue was that the air conditioning broke and the first night the room was unbearably hot. They had an AC team come in and although they couldn't fix the unit while we were there, they had a portable unit installed to take care of the immediate issue. And more importantly, Manu, the manager, worked to reach an acceptable arrangement to cover our discomfort. Overall - I would definitely return and recommend for others to come see what they have to offer.

My friends and I booked a home through Ascend months in advance of our trip to Montana this summer…read more We traveled over a 1/2 day to get to the rental to find cars parked outside and upon entering the home a bachelorette party still living in the rental that they trashed. We called management and they then disclosed that the owners friends decided to come to the home early and they couldn't kick them out due to the home already being rented. Management then said we had to find a new rental (this was literally upon arrival without telling us ahead of time). Like hell my friends and I were going to book another property through Ascend. We scrambled and found another home like I said previously "day of" that would accommodate us for our trip. Ascend ended up paying us back the money but they should have also paid for our new rental as it was appalling that we had to scramble to find new accommodations upon arriving at their trashed rental property that we were supposed to be staying in.

The house itself is gorgeous, so many bedrooms I've lost count, with several porches, comfortable couches to enjoy the view from, and even has a small gym. The house is extremely remote, off of a paved route, so if it's the perfect place to truly getaway. We constantly saw deer, rabbits, and wildbirds, and relaxed in the evenings in the hot tub, having a drink on the beautiful wrap-around porch, or taking walks along the road to watch the sunset. Great place for a family reunion, and for taking a break from city life. Would absolutely recommend staying here for the beautiful views, amazing staff, and top notch accommodations.

GCR could charge more but they kindly don't; consider the near private venue and all-inclusive world class food, and it's a bargain. The food, while we're on it, was ridiculously good (go Rory). Nearby we went on several hikes and took advantage of Tracey's skeet shooting tutorial, and Kendra's patience, to round out a wonderful weekend. My wife and I just wrapped up our second stay with them for an adults only 5 night stay. The ranch is truly like nothing else we've experienced. At the beginning of your stay the head wrangler catches up with you and pairs you with 1 of their 130 horses that are wonderfully trained and cared for on site. The food is one of the major highlights for me and you will enjoy plated 3-4 course dinners each night, with several entrees to choose from at each meal. The cabins and amenities are great, but what really makes your stay special is the people, both the staff and guests, that you spend the week with. I can honestly say it is the best customer service experience I have had to-date, and that doesn't do it justice, because you leave there feeling like family. Things to consider: 1. The Guest Ranch appears pricey to some and we definitely agree that it's a considerable amount of money to spend on a 5 night vacation. That said, we left both years satisfied and without any regrets. 2. We have only visited in late September and early October near the end of their season. Both stays had at least 1 day of rainy weather. You can ride horse and do most activities even with rain, or just read and drink coffee next the a roaring fire, but weather and timing of the visit may be something to consider. 3. Alcohol is not included but the bar is very generous and has a great wine list. That said, we've brought special bottles of wine to the ranch to enjoy with dinner, without issues.

There are so many food options close by that it was hard to make decisions on where to go! We stayed here three nights over a long weekend for a friend's wedding. We were greeted by the home owner, who showed us around and told us about the house history. There is a great musical tower in the living room that you must see if you go. There is a rabbit in the yard who enjoys peanuts! Who knew? Came right up to us and took a few peanuts from our hands. The room was gorgeous and when the window was open you could easily hear the water fountain feature in the yard, which was incredibly relaxing. We hardly ever take naps, but on this stay the bed was so comfy we ended up lounging happily! We had a breakfast one of the mornings, which was so tasty - mushroom omelette with fresh fruit on the side. It was made on site by the owner and a friend of his and you could tell that care was put into making it. Overall: A+ Book in advance (they fill up quick), feed the yard rabbit, enjoy breakfast and venture around the grounds!
