Unfortunately, the occasion for using Gordon's Ink was not a happy one: I wanted a large headshot blown up for a memorial service. I also had several other photos enlarged, but on a smaller scale. I needed all of this with a four day turnaround and I ended up needing one of the photo scans for the memorial program and Chris was great! I have done some of my own enlargements using Picasa and cheap photo labs and it ended up being well worth it to employ someone to get good quality enlargements. It helped that I had high quality originals, but I was thrilled with the end product. Chris' prices seemed reasonable given the quality. I think we paid $70 for an enlargement from 5x8 to poster size. This included whatever touchups were needed. I didn't compare them head to head, but I know the studio mark, at a minimum, was edited out which was great. Go check out this man's company! If I lived in the area, I would consider getting some of my own travel photos done up for hanging here.

Showed up at the agreed upon time, looked over the situation, explained the treatment, and went about his business. Started out excited--referred by Warwick Animal Control. Squirrels in attic. (We knew EXACTLY where…read morethese animals were getting in--observed them several times going through the roof side vents. Personal inspection of attic showed where they had chewed through flimsy screen that was there.) Initially service manager told me that they "do not" set traps in attic rather they set them outside. That was perplexing. Tech showed up (Michael) laughed when I told him what service manager said. Of course they set traps in attic-- which he did. The traps were there for 3 days, checked daily and even though I personally observed squirrels entering same vents--there were no catches. On the last day I had arranged for new vents with heavy gauge wire to be installed. In fact--this was done simultaneously immediately after Tech made last inspection and removed traps. We were disappointed after spending $325 (and $85 per catch) but felt confident that the attic was sealed and that this issue was resolved. It was not. We awoke today to hear furtive scratching and gnawing FROM INSIDE which meant a squirrel was trapped inside! Upon further inspection it was now discovered that the framing around attic entrance had also been broken by tech during his work. I called customer service asking about a refund...service manager responded arrogantly--requested to speak to owner--said he'd pass it on. 2 days later...Two calls into business today--no response. Finally a response from owner Jim Cardoza that was a total waste of time. This whole experience was a waste of time and money. UPDATE! Giant squirrel that was left in attic came down into my office and wreaked havoc. I attempted to collect it, but it jumped down, hit me in face, CUT ME and escaped back up into attic. I have video and pictures to post. It is still now trapped in attic! Contemplating going to hospital for rabies shots. Ugh!!
