The girl who picked up the phone was incredibly rude. I called to see if they had an opening for 2 same-day mani/pedi any time (it was a Wednesday AM so I took a shot). She just responded by saying abruptly, "no, we're super busy here." If she had an accent I would chalk it up to a language or cultural barrier but she spoke perfect English, just with 100% attitude. I asked if they could fit in at least one mani and she just repeated that they're really busy. For me, not getting my nails done is not the end of the world but someone should train her in customer service so she doesn't prevent the people actually doing work from getting business. read more

Most relaxing nail experience I've ever had. Great service and extremely clean.

So I've been going to the same place for years, but I decided to try something new. The place is nice and spacious, and seemed clean! I normally always go with dip, which is what I asked for but I really wanted to try the pink and white ombré. I saw plenty of photos on their Instagram of nails with all different kinds of designs so I figured they'd be able to do it. I asked the sweet nail tech and she said she'd could do it, then told me it was going to be $63. The normal price for dip is $43 plus 15 for the ombré and 5 for the one nail that I broke. I agreed, but when she attempted to do the ombré, it was clear she was not able to do it. She even asked one of the other nail techs for help. It was not coming out well so I told her not to worry about it, she could just keep the whole nail light pink. It's not that I didn't like how it came out, it's just that it was not what I wanted. The nail techs were all lovely and nice. The parking situation was sort of inconvenient but not terrible. read more

I've been going here for a while. i just started going regularly again and I am absolutely shocked by the experience I had yesterday. I made an appointment with Tony because he along with another employee convinced me to get gel polish or solar nails (something along those lines) the appointment was for 9am which is also the time they have on their website as the opening time. I walked in at 8:58 and was asked by Tony if I had and appointment and I said yes. He looked away and continued to sweep the floor so I started to browse through the polish section. He all of the suden screams "you taking too long come on come on, going to be late for my next" I was shocked because I literally looked for 30 seconds but I can understand, I sat down and he started yelling at another employee to get a color for me. He asked me if I was going to be doing the same thing and I said yes! Referring to the shape of the nail. He yelled again to the employee and said these exact words "take too long take too much time, you stay here don't get up. She brought back 2 colors and I politely told him that I was looking to get what he was "pushing" for me to get last time, solar powder. At that point he looked incredibly annoyed with me and I said but its ok lets just do a refill. I told him I was looking at another color and he lost it right then and there. He got up from his chair and started to speak in another language. I said to him in a very firm voice "i know what i want i am going to get up and get it" when I came back the lady sitting behind me that had an appointment stood up and said "this is ridiculous, Im leaving I have other appointments" There was also another customer that walked in to get her nails fixed because the "gel overlay" she had gotten was to light and and she did not like it because you could see through the fake nail. Tony processed to ask this customer why she was there and laughed because his exact words "even with acrylics you can see through" I can go on and on about my experience here on 11/21. This is an ok spot but I am incredibly shocked and considering not going back and giving them business. read more

Adam gave me THE best mani and pedi that I have had in 20 years!!!! I took my nieces out for a mani/pedi afternoon and this place does an outstanding spa day. This is also the cleanest and most sterile conscious salon I have been to and the spa packages are very reasonable. I will definitely return, New favorite place for sure. read more

I went here for the first time today and I must say I'm impressed with not only the talent level (I had Cathy, she's very thorough) but also the friendliness of everyone! I was immediately greeted by the owner and seated within 5 minutes (called ahead). I've been getting my nails done regularly for about 20 years now so I know when they know their stuff or not! I mean this place is sparkling clean with new chairs and tables, spotless floors and equipment and they even use disposable plastic wrap for each pedi so you know it's really clean! This nail salon also has a great selection of colors--more OPI polishes than I've seen at any other salon in the area and all are clearly labeled and look new. They have four distinct pedicures ranging from $30 to $60--the highest price point being a spa pedicure with TONS of different unique treatments and add ins. I will preface by saying that I had gone here before and was extremely pleased, but the last time I went I had a nightmare experience. I was grateful to them for booking me in same-day, but they put me with someone who was obviously still learning her job, as it took her OVER AN HOUR to do a basic manicure. She trimmed my cuticles until two of them bled, and then she knocked the bottle of bright red nail polish under the table, which spilled on my leather shoes.She was about to clean them with acetone, which would have completely ruined them, before I stopped her. When I told them what happened afterward, the best they could do was to offer me 50% off, when what they should have done was pay for the expensive shoes they ruined. I want to go back and just make sure I don't get that person, but that experience is making me extremely hesitant. read more

First time at this place with party of 4. Was extremely disappointed. Booked four Spa pedicures weeks in advance. However, was not asked/confirmed type at arrival. The technicians were distracted. The massage was literally 45 seconds. One of us that started about 10 minutes later than the rest was finished before everyone else. There are also only four nail dryers. Needless to say, we did not get the spa pedicure. This is literally the worse nail place I have ever been. Would not recommend. read more

Me and my mom have been searching and searching for a great nail salon near home. We have tried multiple salons all over. The service we received from Couture Nails and Spa will have us coming back! Every staff member was very friendly and took the time to make sure our experience was nothing less than excellent. They was extremely inviting and took the time to look at my moms acrylics (they had been badly done at a previous salon) and come up with a quick solution since she did not have time to take them off. They use the best products, have great attention to detail, the salon is clean, and they really take the time to make sure you are happy with the results. Not once did we feel rushed. I just went to this place for the second time. I had a gel manicure and a pedicure. I'm happy with the manicure. However, I tried asking if they could wait to wrap my nails until after my pedicure so that I could read my book. I hate having to sit there with my nails wrapped; they are dripping a little with the acetone solution, and it is impossible to use my phone or turn the pages of a book. My pedicurist seemed to understand me, I think, because she waited. However, someone else came over and insisted on wrapping my nails. So I had to sit there unable to do anything for the rest of my pedicure because my nails were wrapped. Don't they realize people don't like this? I also had to turn in the pedi chair, which was uncomfortable, so that the person filing and wrapping my fingernails could work on both hands from one side. This did not feel like pampering at all; it felt awkward and uncomfortable to twist over like that. Then there was the fact that several times during both my mani and pedi, the techs had to switch places on me. I was worked on by four different people. I felt like an object on an assembly line. Maybe they don't have enough employees. They don't seem to have a policy against inconsiderate people bringing children, either. I had to listen to two small children running around the place and crying while I was there. Not a relaxing atmosphere for other clients. Don't they worry about liability if one of the kids gets hurt? Finally, I paid for a spa pedicure, yet the skin on the soles of my feet and heels is still rough. I expect someone to work on my feet, which is why I pay for the service and tip generously, until my skin is smooth. I'm not sure if I'll go back or not. I just got an email that the Creative Nails on Park Ave is reopening. Maybe I should go back there. read more

I was running late and ended up walking in 10 mins before they were about to close, but the staff were friendly and did not make me feel as though I was being a burden. Lily worked on my nails and her mother-in-law (sorry did not catch her name!) did my Pedi. IT WAS EVERYTHING I WAS LOOKING FOR: friendly staff, beautiful ambiance, sanitary...a total treat! They both took their time and made me feel welcome. I will definitely be going back. I called on Friday to make an appointment and they were extremely nice and able to squeeze me in before they closed for a bridal party. The salon is very clean and the staff is so nice. Danny did my nails and perfectly shaped my acrylics into the coffin shaped nail I was looking for. Parking is right around the corner and not a far walk at all.
