They anticipated this question and had a sign with a QR code guiding attendees to nearby parking. That was kind of annoying-not having close parking, and having to pay to park at a neighboring hotel. If you're an out of town visitor and staying at one of the hotels nearby, as I'm assuming many people do, this is no problem. But for locals who are driving, be aware of this and plan a little extra time to walk (and money to pay). Once I made it into the convention center, I took the elevator, attempting to go to the third floor where my meeting was. But it only went to level 2, then you had to get out of the elevator, walk down a hall, get on an escalator to get to level three. Odd. I'm sure when you get the hang of navigating around, it's not bad. But first impressions were that this was not going to be an easy in-easy out sort of event. The rest of my experience was fine-nothing notable. But if I was planning an event, I'd have to consider the parking situation and extra signage to avoid confusion with my attendees.

If you're handicap you may want to get there early, as those were full especially for the Festival of Trees event. Venue seemed really clean and plenty of friendly staff on site. Purchase my tickets ahead of time so easy breezy scanning my ticket in my phone and no lines to enter.

Felt totally safe at night walking back even though the neighborhood streets aren't well lit.

(‍) Lots of light, lots of fun, definitely a luxury stay, at an affordable price. If you're going to Provo, you want to stay here, as it's the best place around. Few buildings stay true to their original purpose, but the Art City Inn has remained a hotel since…read morethe late 1800's when it was built. It's gone through several names and renovations over the decades, and what you see today is still a place where travelers stay a night or two. It's not like the modern day hotel, but an intimate bed and breakfast. The day of your arrival, you'll receive a text with check in instructions, which include door codes for self service. When I arrived, there was someone at the front desk to answer some questions, but we could have found our way without help. The room was clean and comfortable, with the exception of the bed. It was pretty dated and uncomfortable. Breakfast is in a tiny room off the lobby-any more than 2-3 people can be crowded. You'll find some pastries, cereal, nuts and juice. There's a coffee machine in the lobby with k-cups. The outdoor area is beautiful, with a hot tub on the patio and some small bistro tables on the front porch. On a nice day, it's a lovely place to sit and enjoy the memories of days gone by.

While Many of them stayed at my sister's house, I knew I needed a little more space and quiet. (My brother and his wife agreed and also stayed here.) The four nights I stayed at the Art City Inn were fantastic! It's in a very walkable area with many restaurants around. I highly recommend it if you're needing to stay near Mapleton or Springville. But the best part of this particular room is the private balcony, with an amazing view of Mount Timpanogos! We were on the top floor and never heard any noise from other guests. It's just a couple blocks from a nice paved walk & bike path that connects Heber City to Midway. The one minor issue is we called a few days ahead for allergies as suggested (gluten), but it had no impact - the chef said they ran out of GF bread the day before our stay. The person who checked us in said "I'm in your parking spot, but you can have it when I leave at 10pm tonight". We didn't say a thing, what we were supposed to say? 2) When we walked in, immediate stench of odor, reminiscent of a run down old folks home. 3) Entire room was dirty, dusty, cobwebs, including the jetted tub that smelled musty. 4) The pillow on the bed (see photo) inferring they don't launder their comforters, gross. 5) Breakfast was average; microwaved precooked bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, and French toast. Not terrible, not $225/night quality. 6) Guest book in the room with rules & places to dine around town is outdated; Iggys? Hoppers? Both out of business for several years now. 7) No where to put your suitcase or belongings, not even a luggage rack to keep belongings off the floor. They did have a coat rack in the restroom, which was weird and not useful. 8) The concept of themed rooms is cute, candidly, this place is not somewhere we would visit again.
