It was super soft! I saw that they had a lot of chicken dishes and have other reviews about those. I would like to try those out sometime as well. We also ordered a regular and sweet potato fry. I personally felt that the regular fries needed a little bit more salt. The sweet potato fries were very flavorful and I really liked them. When we had meetings at the venue for wedding planning inquires she would always have to leave the meeting early because she was busy with something else. I feel if you're helping plan a wedding you should plan your days out more precisely since there is a lot of money on the line. The coordinator and the owner of the venue were never on the same page regarding what times we could be there the day of and the day before. The coordinator would tell us one thing and then the owner would tell us another. Also if you want alcohol for your special day, fore warning but this venue will charge you a $500 dollar fee and also make you get a licensed and insured bartender to open alcohol for you at the wedding(even if you're just having beer and seltzer). So in total you might spend almost a $1000 extra on top of the $5,200 just for the venue, bartender, and alcohol all together. They were very strict with us not being able to come in to our own wedding to set up decorations unless it was the day before from 7pm-9pm Also the day of the wedding we weren't able to come in the building to continue decorating until 3 pm and we had to be out by 10 pm otherwise we would get charged an extra $75 per hour. Also while our ceremony and reception and photos were going on they still were allowing customers to come through for food and ice cream and to buy items from the shop on the other side. I feel when we pay these people over $5,500 for the venue, they could at least not have people interrupting us while we are having our special day.

But…read morethat being said it looks like they don't maintain their plants because I saw a lot of dead trees, sick plants and plants of dire need of dead heading. when I did find pretty plants they didn't have a price on it. Some plants did and a lot did not. There were no workers to be found. It was like a ghost town. when I did find the price of the plants they over charged. I go to plant nurseries all over Utah and can find the same plants for half the cost and way more healthy. Shades used to be way better maintained but every time I've stopped by it seems like are becoming less and less maintained. I use to brag about this place but after today I just won't be back until they start to be organized, maintain their plants and have more affordable pricing. They are pricing out their customers.

The facility is clean and well maintained. The laser tag was obviously the main attraction and it was a lot of fun. We did 30 minutes, which turned out to be 3 rounds. The mission we were on was called Sole Survivor. It was really cool to have objectives and I even won once - which totally shocked me. The vests fit a variety of sizes. This place was so much fun. It would really work for any group - kids, teens, and adults.

Those that I like have to meet a few requirements that I have for eating. I have celiacs, so i avoid gluten at all cost, including any moderate chance of cross contamination, Corn also bothers me so another food that I avoid. beyond that I am picky with what goes into my food and how the food is prepared. Now to the review. the first thing I do at any restaurant is ask about their gluten free options and about cross contamination. This was the first day that the Provo location was open, so I expected there would be blank stares. believe it or not that happens a lot. Here they knew about some of the food but not all of it when it came to my questions. So they went back to ask, "I want to make sure so let me ask". the next thing i knew I was speaking to the owner, going over all of the items and the options I had and what to avoid. He made some suggestions and we went ahead with our order. I got. the tri tip steak and my wife got gnochi. Oh another thing about how i like my food. I like the ingredients, steak, potatoes, vegetables, etc, seasoned and not the other way around. I find a lot of places over season their food. Not here. the steak, veggies, and mashed potatoes were lightly seasoned, just enough to enhance the flavor but not overwhelm the core ingredient. the steak was tender, the vegetables perfectly cooked and seasoned. I didn't even try and figure our what seasonings they used, I just enjoyed the meal. Short of this part of the meal, fantastic. With the gnochi, we had a little bit of an issue. There was a problem with how they were cooked, they were a little stiffer than they should be, but the sauce they were in was fantastic. BTW, they are not gluten free, so this is my wife's perspective. When they asked how our meal was we mentioned that to them. They looked at the gnochi and agreed. they then didn't just correct the issue, but went above and beyond. They asked if we wanted something else, made a suggestion since we couldn't decide and prepared that for us. They also did something else while we were there. They tried to make more batches of the gnocchi, not for us but so that they could see what went wrong. Then came back and told us what they had done and the results. The service was some of the best I have ever had. They had a good selection of gluten free options, depending on your sensitivity your options might change, but there are plenty of options and a few that are not on the menu. The owner suggested a burger on mashed potatoes, even though they have a gluten free bun. My gluten sensitvity is pretty high, so he was providing as many options for me as possible. All in all, I really liked the food, the service, and the attention to my food sensitivities.
