It was super soft! I saw that they had a lot of chicken dishes and have other reviews about those. I would like to try those out sometime as well. We also ordered a regular and sweet potato fry. I personally felt that the regular fries needed a little bit more salt. The sweet potato fries were very flavorful and I really liked them. I'm glad that I finally got around to trying the restaurant! I definitely would come back for a quick lunch.

When we had meetings at the venue for wedding planning inquires she would always have to leave the meeting early because she was busy with something else. I feel if you're helping plan a wedding you should plan your days out more precisely since there is a lot of money on the line. The coordinator and the owner of the venue were never on the same page regarding what times we could be there the day of and the day before. The coordinator would tell us one thing and then the owner would tell us another. Also if you want alcohol for your special day, fore warning but this venue will charge you a $500 dollar fee and also make you get a licensed and insured bartender to open alcohol for you at the wedding(even if you're just having beer and seltzer). So in total you might spend almost a $1000 extra on top of the $5,200 just for the venue, bartender, and alcohol all together. They were very strict with us not being able to come in to our own wedding to set up decorations unless it was the day before from 7pm-9pm Also the day of the wedding we weren't able to come in the building to continue decorating until 3 pm and we had to be out by 10 pm otherwise we would get charged an extra $75 per hour. Also while our ceremony and reception and photos were going on they still were allowing customers to come through for food and ice cream and to buy items from the shop on the other side. I feel when we pay these people over $5,500 for the venue, they could at least not have people interrupting us while we are having our special day.

The space is thoughtfully decorated, the seating was comfortable, and the soda station was a standout detail that guests really enjoyed. Overall, the aesthetic and atmosphere are very charming. However, the biggest issue--and unfortunately the one that defined the experience--was the sound. The indoor acoustics are extremely poor. The space functions like an echo chamber, with noise bouncing off the walls to the point where even casual conversation becomes overwhelming. Despite the use of a microphone, the speeches were nearly impossible to hear clearly, especially with a subpar sound system. Additionally, as the sun set, light streamed intensely through the upper windows, making it difficult to see key moments. Between the lighting and the acoustics, many guests ended up spending most of the event outside just to be able to talk and hear one another. Parking was also somewhat limited, though the location itself is convenient. It's a visually lovely venue with a lot of potential, but the sound issues indoors are significant and would need to be addressed for events like weddings where hearing speeches and connecting with others is essential.

The acoustics are better outside; once you go inside it echoes quite a bit. It's a small space, but they do a nice job to make it inviting and attractive. The soda shop has an impressively large menu and they will also whip up whatever you can create-so you're sure to find something you like. As I was mainly looking at house plants, I must say that I was quite disappointed with some of the plants that I was previously eyeing. There were leaves that were broken off and wilting. Yet, I also managed to find other plants that looked so pretty! I love the selection of the pots and think that they are a good price in comparison to other online stores. I loved how they also helped me repot my plants for free as I purchased the pot AND the plant from the store (their requirement for free potting).

I go to plant nurseries all over Utah and can find the same plants for half the cost and way more healthy. Shades used to be way better maintained but every time I've stopped by it seems like are becoming less and less maintained. As long as you don't mind being subterranean, in the back of a building if a fire breaks out.

The mission we were on was called Sole Survivor. It was really cool to have objectives and I even won once - which totally shocked me. The vests fit a variety of sizes. This place was so much fun. When the person who was supposed to perform our ceremony was stuck in another state due to the pandemic (with less than a weeks notice) they helped us get everything set up so she could perform the ceremony over Skype. I was so nervous things wouldn't go right yesterday, but thanks to everyone, we were able to enjoy the night, dance, and appreciate the time we had with our loved ones who did so much to make sure they were there.

DO NOT BOOK THIS VENUE…read more Stone Gate was once a beautiful and professional wedding venue, but after being sold twice this year alone, my experience was incredibly disappointing. Before signing my contract, I made it clear that I was planning a destination wedding December 2027, and would need flexibility with planning timelines as I wanted everything planned at minimum, 6 months before the wedding given some exceptions to the event designs. I was assured they would accommodate this. Then the person I was working with, got fired. I had to reshare everything for my event as there were little to no notes in my account. The new person assured me that everything previously discussed would still be the same. Based on those promises, I paid the $1,000 deposit, scheduled a planning meeting, and spent just over $2,000 traveling to Utah with my bridal party. After signing and paying $1,800 (deposit and first payment) communication completely fell apart. Despite repeatedly trying to confirm my appointment, I received no response until days before my trip, after many calls to the planner and property number. Finally, I got a callback and was informed the planner I had been working with left the company, and no notes about my account or scheduled meeting were passed on, for now the second time. They assured me I could still have my meeting, despite the planner no longer being with the company. When I arrived, I discovered they had only scheduled me for a venue tour.. not the planning meeting I had traveled there for. The one person on site had no idea what was going on, couldn't find notes in my account, and was unable to help as no one seemed to be answering his phone calls. It was clear there was a serious lack of organization, communication, and standard professionalism. Not to mention they couldn't remember my name, wedding date, or appointment details. I've never felt so overlooked by a company. There was also no manager on site, or even in the country I could speak to. I was then informed that I would not be able to meet with a planner until five months before my wedding, despite being told the exact opposite before signing. Had I known that, I never would have booked with them as I cannot make a special trip 5 months before my wedding. After multiple conversations, I lost confidence in the venue and requested to cancel my contract as they violated their end of it. I only asked for the payment beyond my non-refundable deposit to be returned, since they had not delivered what was promised. Instead, I received a text message stating they would keep all of my money. They then had the audacity to say they lost trust in me as a client, when I'm the only one who had communication, notes, was very clear in my expectations before ever signing an agreement, and made my payments well before they were due. No owner or manager ever called to discuss the situation. I am now out $1,800 in venue payments and nearly $2,000 in travel expenses for a meeting that never happened. The only remedy that was offered was having a new employee, a full time student, to manage my wedding. When I pay thousands for an event I expect professionals, not to be a practice run for a new company. Don't let older 5-star reviews influence your decision. The venue I originally booked no longer seems to exist and has been sold to people who care more about getting your money than giving you the experience you paid for. If you choose to book here, be prepared for poor communication, a lack of accountability, and likely a very sad and unorganized event. If I could give negative stars, I would. I'm sure they will have more to respond to my review, than they did to me in person as public image is more important to them than your personal experience.
