Nobody from the wedding venue was there to help me on the day of the wedding, even though I was told there would be an employee ushering people to the church parking lot, and also the chairs for my ring ceremony weren't placed as I asked by the employees. There was also not enough chairs placed outside so 20+ of my guests had to stand. The service from the wedding reception was awful, but the venue is pretty!

I wasn't sure if I should get my stroller out or not, but to be honest it's not really a large space, so I'm glad I didn't end up taking the stroller in. The lady at the front desk was helpful and we scanned out virtual ti key for entry. They have some real animal lovers working and I love that they employ some younger persons who obviously love animals. There was a really pretty multicolored little bird in the front and a hand washing station. I saw a hedgehog, rats, ferrets and fish/frogs at the front. We went past the gate into the same room and there was a pig, two goats, an alpaca, two baby lambs, and a small type of horse. The alpaca and horse were tethered, but the others were free to roam within the room and there were some toys around. The gates (within the same room) have 3 other separated sections, there was a reptile section with turtles, a lizard, I can't remember exactly, but probably a snake. The next section had bunnies, small bunnies and full sized bunnies of a few different breeds, they were very soft, but a little difficult to try to pick up as most of them were hiding under their cages. And the last section had some baby ducks or goslings I couldn't tell, as well as some empty bird cages. It depends on who you go with. I kept trying to pet the baby lambs because I had drove 45 minutes to get there haha. From what I understand, they also have like a traveling petting zoo and you can hire them for parties/events. All in all, the animals seem well taken care of even though there isn't a ton of space. Now that I've been once, I don't think I need to go again, but it could be a fun activity for a local to try.

Mind you, all of this is housed into one warehouse type of room with only the back door open for any type of ventilation. When we went, it was during spring break for the local schools so we understood it would be busier than usual. That said, with the number of guests added to the resident animals, it still was entirely too crowded and noisy to really enjoy seeing or petting any of the animals. Actually, the animals don't seem to want to be handled. We noticed whenever someone would try to pet the animals, they did their best to walk away or hide. In order to keep the small horse, goat and llama in one location, there was a mound of straw/hay on the floor for them to eat. The owner does keep the animal droppings picked up. Young kids who we assume are related to the owner try to help customers hold of the animals at least in a couple of areas but you can't tell who is an employee versus who is a guest. Parking is beyond limited with only three or four spots directly in front of the "barn". Loved the sink to wash hands before leaving. Thumbs up for the idea. We really wanted to love this experience. Recommendation: limit the number of guests and time allowed to create a more calming and enjoyable atmosphere for both children and especially the animals.

My Experience with KB Horses…read more I chose KB Horses because I wanted to enjoy a guided trail ride, and I understood before participating that horseback riding involves inherent risks. I did not expect a risk-free experience. My concern is not simply that I fell--it's how the situation unfolded and how it was handled afterward. Before the ride began, the wrangler assigned me a horse named Breezy. I recall being told that Breezy had a "waddle" and that I should let her know if I noticed the saddle shifting. Because of that conversation, I paid close attention throughout the ride. Near the end of the ride, as we approached a steep downhill section of the trail, I felt the saddle begin slipping sideways. Remembering what I had been told, I immediately called out to the wrangler that my saddle was slipping. She turned around and came back toward me, but before she could reach me, the saddle shifted farther toward the downhill side and I fell directly onto my right hip. After the fall, the wrangler repositioned and tightened the saddle before asking me to remount for the short ride back to the stable. I told her my hip hurt, but at that point I believed I had only suffered a bruise. Over the next two days, the pain and bruising became much worse. Medical evaluation ultimately revealed injuries that required MRIs, injections, and months of treatment. I incurred approximately $3,000 in out-of-pocket medical expenses. Two days after the accident, Brenda from KB Horses contacted me to check on how I was doing. She thanked me for my feedback, told me she had reviewed my comments with her staff "to make sure everyone is following proper protocol," and said she wanted to ensure "the situation does not occur again." I appreciated that outreach and believed my concerns were being taken seriously. As time went on, however, I became disappointed by the company's response. The written description of the incident that was later provided on the company's behalf differs from my recollection of what happened during the ride. I also requested the incident report that the company and its attorney relied upon when responding to my claim, but it was not voluntarily provided to me. I recognize that horses are animals and that falls can happen even when everyone is doing their best. My purpose in sharing this experience is not to suggest that horseback riding can ever be made risk-free. Rather, I believe prospective riders--especially beginners or those with limited riding experience--should ask how saddles are checked during a ride, what procedures guides follow if a rider reports that a saddle is slipping, and what additional precautions are taken before steep downhill sections. I'm sharing my experience so that others can make an informed decision before booking a ride.

Again - super fun to have 20 kids cheering in the front yard as the truck pulled up. Attendant was young, but super friendly and as professional as the job warrants. The setup was relatively quick, though getting 16 kids set up on 4 consoles is certainly not immediate. The kids are in groups of 4 and must agree together on one game. That got a little sticky at times, but the attendant was politely firm in telling them they had to agree, and leaving it to them to decide. We had a few extra kids and were planning on switching them out, but instead the attendant opened one of the outside screens for them to play. It was really cold outside, but really nice to not have to figure out what to do with the 3 extras. The equipment was all in fair to good shape, and definitely had the "cool" factor. The trailer had been leaking before it arrived, so there was a small drip coming from the ceiling near the door. It didn't bother us at all (other than it ruined the Pucker Powder), but made me a little nervous for the company and their equipment! All in all - great party. Very low maintenance for the party mom (or dad) and very cool for the kids.

Not only for the sheer size (as it's so large it'll it's very difficult to find someone you're looking for), but it also has a little "adventure" you can do if you buy the extra wristband, and it seems well monitored (there seem to be 2-3 employees roaming around at all times.). The obstacles within the playground are also widely varied with something for pretty much any age. Most importantly just about the entire playground is easily accessible for an adult to traverse. There are are even normal stairs on either side that take you most of the way up, enabling a much easier way to find your kids, rather than having to climb up through the playground yourself. The reason I give 4 stars is two reasons: 1. The rope bridges are set up in such a way that it's pure pain and misery in your feet to get across them 2. The triple slides are probably the fastest ones in the playground, and the "landing zone" is not carpeted or cushioned. It's straight plastic, which is especially painful when you aren't expecting it
