This location does not deserve 1 star. My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 2 days for a funeral and came back to the hotel where we found a LIVE MOUSE eating my expensive food in their broken open refrigerator. I immediately came downstairs to the lobby and reported the RODENT to the manager on staff named Olivia. She then switched the rooms. Maintenance then came to our unsanitary room and removed the refrigerator with the animal 5 minutes after. Then on our way out of the room he returned the refrigerator. 12 hours later at checkout for our flight I was informed that this incident was not notated and a charge was already placed on my credit card and nothing could be done. I've called at least 5 times in the past 7 days and have gotten the run around from the actual hotel location and corporate stating they cannot escalate the case until 7 days after the incident. It should not be this difficult to refund and reimburse for the time and money lost for these UNACCEPTABLE conditions and the health risk of being exposed to mice in a hotel room. I wouldn't even expect this from a very cheap motel let alone a well named and what we thought was a highly respected hotel. The communication, inconvenience and unsanitary conditions are ridiculous. The manager, and more importantly to the owner should be held responsible for this VERY POORLY handled situation. I shouldn't have to escalate this situation on my own, this should have been handled very differently. read more

Stayed in room 514 requested a pack n play months before on the reservation, when we check in there is no crib set up or any extra sheets for the pull out bed or extra pillows. (At 9 at night) Fridge will not stay cold, also tons of hair on the bathroom ceiling! The room looked like a horror scene with the mark on the ceiling and the blood stain on the bottom left of the king mattress! Only positive thing about this hotel is its near six flags, you could probably have a better night sleep in your car! And if 4 people are checking into a room we only get 1 set of shampoo and conditioner which is only enough for a small child! Terrible hotel, terrible housekeeping! Will be checking out other places on our next visit! read more

friendly staff, huge bathroom. otherwise pretty dirty and smelly. avoid six flags facing rooms at all cost. free parking.

Nice staff, good breakfast, across the street from a theme park....and comfy rooms. I'd stay here again!

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Cons restaurant is not open during the week. As someone stated that this is one of the best Vallejo has to offer. read more

I wish I knew about this hotel before staying at the horrible Howard Johnson. This hotel is reasonably priced, very modern looking, has great customer service, easy check in and the food is great. Rooms are clean and organized. Also WALKING DISTANCE to Six Flags, saved $20 on parking just by walking to the park from the hotel. (very short easy walk but have to cross busy intersection) Got a great deal on park passes via this hotel and saved a ton of money. HIGHLY recommend for anyone going to six flags. Also the pool is nice and clean and isn't crowded. Dinner here was surprisingly delicious and wasn't crowded either. Starbucks in the lobby is a major plus. Overall 10/10 great experience. Do not go any where else in Vallejo, trust me I did and I wish I came to this hotel first. read more

Clean rooms and very conveniently located across the street from six flags -- 5 minutes walking distance. No complimentary breakfast, not even a continental breakfast. No microwave in the room, had to go to lobby. Asked for late checkout but was told anything past 2pm would be an additional charge. read more

We didn't have a reservation for this hotel but we had one for another hotel and we just couldn't stay at the other one so we drove around for a while and finally decided to stay her at the Marriot. It's right across the street from six flags which was awesome the hotel staff is very friendly and very helpful. At first we were only able to get a room for two nights and we needed one more night after speaking to one of the employees his name is Andrew he managed to get us another room for one more night. He gave us the same rate we were already paying which was very nice of him even though I would've paid extra if I had too just to get that extra night. When we had breakfast the next morning was good the staff in there were very nice and helpful. My daughter loves pancakes and one of the employees took some batter from the waffle maker and had the cook make her a pancake. If I ever go back to Vallejo California I will probably stay here once again read more

We booked the hotel online on 20 th aug , and in fine lines they wrote non refundable if you cancel the booking after 22aug . We cancelled our booking on 21 august . But with reminders they reversed our money on 25 th aug . But again charged us on 1 September . So, be very careful about the way they charge people and always check your credit card transactions. read more

This is a jewel of a hotel in a perfect location to visit to the Bay Area or Napa Valley. It is right across from Discovery Park and has everything needed for family or business stays. I was most impressed with the helpful staff. Everything in the hotel is spotless. This hotel is just a few miles from the start of the Napa Valley wine country but it is about half the price of hotels in Napa. Great hotel, great staff, perfect location. read more

JUUUUUUNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!! He was the best! EVER! Seriously. Thanks Jun for being so accommodating and putting up with us :)

Staff nice. My concern is we were evacuated and wanted a suite family of 4. I read that the suite accommodates or sleeps 4. Room had one king size bed and a twin sleep couch. So unless the 4 sleeping in the king or bath tub is really only able to sleep 3. Other then that staff nice helpful except for sleeping arrangement. Allows pets which is great when u have been evacuated. Rooms clean. We started in a single room with two twin beds. But as our stay was going to be extended we moved. Actually had spent two previous nights at the Vacaville Marriott I honestly think the Vacaville Marriott would have found a way to make up for the bed problem. The woman I spoke with Friday eve didn't seem concerned. Besides that housekeeping great. Katelin and Andrew were helpful. That's my only concern was the false advertising and the clerk that evening didn't seem to care. 3 adults and one child but she is 10 years old 5'0 so basically size of an adult. Plus she is Autistic and can be difficult with constant change. She had already been evacuated then moved 3 times. Even though windows leaked with the rain we chose not to move to the 5th floor. Bed arrangement still one king one twin love seat bed. Other then that rooms clean and convenient. Just lousy bed arrangement advertised falsely said sleeps 4. read more

Let me start I stayed at this hotel before never had a problem I loved it had a great experience but this last stayed I stayed for two days me and my family I had two different rooms first time the whole family went out and it was horrible.. right when we get there we get a cart this lady comes out yelling at my children that we took her cart I was like I'm sorry my children didn't know and my son List like mom no one was using the cart then mine one of my children is autistic.. when I tell a lady you need to come down your scaring my son he's autistic and she's calling him all kinds of names and we told her that she still didn't cared. and the lady at the front desk you think she would've stepped in but she just stood there and watched everything.. then we go to our room and there's like 20 people in the room next to us and we asked him can we keep it down and they say we have any problems or we go complain to the front desk that we're gonna have problems with them so me I'll go tell the front Desk because I got my whole family here I don't have time for this I didn't Come on a family vacation to argue ... I have to say worst time ever for taking my family out for the first time this experience was horrible you think they would've said you know what one of your nights it's on us we're sorry ... read more

Ants in room during two of three night stay. Upgraded to suite on day 3 which was much better (both size and no ants). However, two doors down from room we had a sweet 16 party going that ended up getting shut down - complete with three police agencies to disburse the few hundred people in the parking lot. Had to walk my wife and kids past the crowd to get to front door. Wi-fi reminded me of the old dial up days... took 10 mins to buffer a Netflix movie for kids. Toilet overflowing from kid going #1 at midnight was a nice touch. Hot tub out of commission for "routine maintenance" first two days. On day two at 10pm the front desk staff says... oh, its fixed. However sign still up. Of course its closed for the night. Price to park (was included in room rate) $17 dollars but didn't mean anything because nobody checks your car nor do they take your plate down when you check in. Fan in suite sounded like something up there wanted out... ended up shutting it down. The good... staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Suite was nice with plenty of room for kids to move around. Hotel provided shuttle over to park (which is something they don't do normally). Mgr credited one night stay because of ant infestation. Overall, I have to say I probably won't be back to this hotel. At the price ($118 per night) I would expect a little more. If you can get a better price it might be worth it. If I hadn't already complained about the ants I would have brought up the other stuff to mgt, but I didn't push for more. Because they are directly across from Six Flags, they will always have business... just not mine. read more

We stayed here on New Years Eve. The location to 6 flags was perfect! Right across the street with easy access to the park. We could see the fireworks right out our window. The hotel it's self was a little run down. It seemed to be in need of a major update. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. However, there was peeling wallpaper in the bathroom with spots of mold on it and part of the ceiling in the bedroom was starting to crumble. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. read more

When I called to confirm my prepaid reservation, they informed me I had checked in already, he asked for my name to confirm this. He then asked for my reservation number, I gave it to him, he told me that he had no information. Ultimately I had to contact another person to contact them regarding my prepaid reservation. Once I got there, they asked for another credit car for incidentals, I informed them there will be no incidentals. Then this woman told me I would have to pay 20 cash. let me think, you lost my reservation, or allowed someone else to check in, we will have to check the credit card statement for a possible double billing, really give them more money, or access to money, after they Cleary have shown the inability to handle the information they had. They did finally call my room and woke me up to ask if everything was okay with my room.. Absolutely the least professional staff I have ever encountered, they were Rude and absolutely lack any sort of dignity. I have little to say about the room, typical motel, nothing to write home about, unfortunately service so poor I an compelled to right a review, in stead of getting the sleep I need, the reason I am here tonight. read more

Don't stay here if you can possibly stay anywhere else. This hotel does not not live up to the Marriott name or price. If you HAVE to stay here you'll likley be fine just don't expect much. The bed was the sort that will make you toss and turn and wake up a lot. One can sleep on it, certainly was not the worst, but needs to be replaced! The sheets and coverings were clean. Towels were clean but had a funky odor to them. I stayed here for a dog show at the Fairground which is right next door, so had to stay here, I will not stay here again. I did like all the nice dogs also staying. This hotel however dings you an extra $75 for cleaning your room after you leave, this is not explained at the time of reservation but socked to you as a way of welcome. The carpet in my room had lots of dirty areas as my dogs quickly pointed out to me, so I suspect the $75 is just another way to gouge guests as the room badly needed a cleaning from the humans staying in the room. Do they even do a deep clean of these rooms at all? Walls are paper thin, so you will hear everything even from down on the street. Hospitality is non existent, no welcome anything other than the shock of an additional fee and junk food you can purchase. No complimentary food or drinks like a hot breakfast but you can buy one. Atmosphere is a bit spooky but nothing was stolen from my vehicle. There is some green area to walk your dog in the parking lot but no walking trails or paths, no dog amenities whatsoever, no list of local restaurants so you can at least order some take out, no area information. I was almost laughed at when I asked for map to my room and instructions on where to park, they don't have maps. I had the impression the desk clerks have no idea what the rooms are like or where they are located or perhaps it was only the woman who severed me that day... lack of staff training or a we don't really care about you policy? Maybe the rooms were better on the top floor, I heard one person who stays there often, insist on a room on the top floor but I will not return and sincerely suggest you look for different accommodations. read more

Booked the room on Priceline. Lobby being completely remodeled. Looked like a war zone. But that wasn't the problem. The first room (!) was comfortable and remodeled. But when I went to take a bath after a long day of traveling, there was no hot water at the tub! Sink had hot water. If I hadn't tried to take a bath, we would have been stuck with cold showers in the morning. Called the front desk and they said someone would come up with a room key to another room. We waited for a while and then finally packed up. A knock on the door was a service man with a key to a room down the hall. So we go and move into that room. Yes, hot water in shower and sink. We went to sleep and around 10 I get a hot flash. OMG need to turn on the AC or open the window. Oops! Window doesn't open! Turn down the temp on the thermostat. Fan won't turn on! No air! Now I am starting to panic. It was 73 degrees in the room and I needed it down to 69 to sleep. It's now 11pm. I went to the heating/AC unit in the wall, opened the control door, and turned down the temp. The AC turned on but the fan turned off once it came down to temp. The fan would not stay on which would have been nice to drown out the highway noise. The gentleman at the desk the next morning said the manager would call my husband the next day. The call never came. So I am now telling all. FYI, the remodel will be a while. Spot lights, tarps, and workers painting the ceiling we walked by. They should have discounted this hotel during this process and alerted prospective guests! read more

Everything about this hotel was great. I had made my reservation and my partner got called into work so I called and they switched it for me. The staff was friendly and when we arrived in our room it was clean. However, after about 30 min we began smelling marijuana. We figured out it was coming from the vent in the bathroom. I decided the people next door were smoking and just figured theyd stop and itd be over. The smell continued coming in and we couldnt breathe in the room without inhaling it.. We called the front desk and they gave us a different room. An employee came in and said he smelt it too. We thought switching rooms was the end of it. However, We could even smell it in our new room. (at this point, I was tired of dealing with it, and just closed the bathroom door) When I spoke to the manager today he promised to get to the bottom of it and seemed honestly concerned. Hopefully, it was just a one time thing. read more
