April, 17, 2026, 3pm : Hotel is nice from outside and restaurant, lobby and bar all nice, only kicker is they were both closed ? No explanation to why? Disappointed and did not see closure on the website or would have booked elsewhere. The man at Reception desk was very friendly, smiley and helpful, give props to him! The lady there, couldn't crack a smile to save her life, Heard horror stories after I booked non-refundable room, glad my room had no bed bugs, as I read elsewhere. She gave us a keys to a room that was not cleaned? And charged my boyfriend's credit card for room again, and I had already pre-paid for room. My boyfriend checked in earlier than I, he then left to get snacks, came back to room to house keeping cleaning it and we were then informed the room was not cleaned until now? Miscommunication between desk and housekeeping, luckily the male receptionist helped figure that out. Room was nice and bed was comfortable. He was very accommodating to let my boyfriend watch the big screen TV at the closed bar for Giants game. A longtime friend of mine was getting married at the nearby Hiddenbrooke Hills by Wedgewood Wedding venue. Initially, I thought "I'm not going to drink; therefore, we can make the one hour drive back to our home in Elk Grove after the wedding reception. Thankfully, my wise and beautiful wife intervened and strongly suggested that we book a room at the Courtyard Vallejo Napa Valley (there was a discounted rate available for members of the wedding party). Since there was some construction taking place by the hotel, Google Maps misled us (the entrance of the hotel's parking lot is on the side of the hotel that faces the nearby Chevron). Entering the hotel, we were checked in by an employee who acknowledged me with a head nod. Generally I find this to be unprofessional, but I gathered that he was a little flustered by a difficult customer that he was assisting prior to us. After providing us with room keys, he gave me a parking pass to put on my dashboard (parking is $10). We entered a very clean room that had both a refrigerator and microwave (very beneficial considering that my wife and I brought our breakfast meal prep for the next morning), along with a nice view of the neighboring Six Flags amusement park. Speaking of the amusement park...the room was well-insulated; therefore, we could not hear the screaming of the patrons on the roller coaster that faced our room. I'm so glad that I took heed to my wife's advice, we experienced a comfortable and safe stay at the Courtyard Vallejo Napa Valley! read more

Amazing location! It's literally across the street from Six Flags Animal Kingdom. The room was nice and the staff were helpful. One concern was our neighbors room flooding which was interesting. I hope things were alright and fixed for them. Other than that, great experience and lovely location. read more

We stayed here for my cousin's wedding. In a nutshell; There were a lot of issues. When we checked in, the staff looked like they were in training. There were papers everywhere. It looked like old archive files spread out everywhere. Someone was sorting through the paperwork frantically...we were so confused by what was going on. The cafe and bar was completely closed. No breakfast included as advertised. We learned that the hotel changed management...literally overnight and they got rid of lots of employees so they were literally training new hires as we checked in and out. It was not a smooth transition at all. The rooms were also not super clean. There was trash behind the couch and sticky residue on the carpet. I would not recommend staying here at all. I feel so bad for the stress they caused my cousin on her wedding day. I will not be returning. I hope the new management receives this feedback and makes changes promptly. read more

First of all the hotel itself looks nice on the outside but inside it's a mess the walls look weird and outdated with their popcorn texture, and even knocking on them feels like they might collapse on you. And the cups that they give you under the TV are dirty but the worst thing has to be the fact that I found what seems to be a PUBIC HAIR ON MY TOWEL. I was traumatised and on top of that there was a booger on the wall overall just save you're sanity for something else read more

First time staying here. I really just wanted an overnight staycation so I could swim and relax. It is right across the street from 6 flags also but they were closed this day. The lady that checked me in was amazingly friendly and helpful. I was on the 4th floor and on the way to the room it reeked of weed. Ironically near room 420. Lol. But later that evening the smell cleared. My room was lovely. Big comfy bed. Very clean. Microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. Large bathroom. I just should not have pulled the desk chair out. It was so ratty and gross. Like absolutely ridiculously ratty. It seemed like a joke. But aside from that the room was great. The pool was also perfect for what I wanted. Decent size and space and since six flags was closed it was very quiet out there. I went down to the lobby to have a glass of wine and order some dinner to take to my room. No let's get one thing straight. This is not a restaurant as you would think of it. Walk up counter that does have wine and some hard liquor. And a small menu of mostly apps. I ordered the burger with bacon and some chicken wings. The girl running the bar and food counter was wonderful!!!! So friendly, welcoming and helpful!!! She deserves a raise! The wings were good. Just classic Buffalo. The burger however was pretty bad. Well not bad.....but not good. It's basically a precooked frozen burger patty (I'm assuming) that was reheated. It really wasn't bad. The problem was the bun. It was clearly stale and was toasted so it was very very rough. Hard to bite through. I did finish it because it did taste good just hard to chew. Lol. The general men that checked me out was wonderfully friendly and helpful as well. Overall I had a great stay. But hotel management needs to BURN that desk chair!!! Now it is not a great area so don't leave anything in your car. read more

Our first time there and they DOWN GRADED my room for 4 from 2 queens to a single queen and a couch at the premium price! I sat on the pull out and felt springs!!!! I sat on the bed- more springs! Plus we were greeted by a skunk. The inside was NOT as the pictures on any website. It was old, rotten, and under "construction". The food was limited and premade. ( Fries or tatter tots!). No salad, hamburger, nothing cooked- microwave only! They offered a second room, splitting up our family of 2 adults and 2 kids! We did not stay the night. read more

5 stars for Amica! Amica went above and beyond during our stay. It was our first visit to this property and she provided warm and welcoming service. 1/15/21 - My granddaughter & I attended my cousins big milestone party. I chose to stay in Vallejo since she was having family over for a luncheon the next day. I had already pre-checked in so their was no problem for us because the party did not end until almost 11:30p. When I got to the desk everything was smooth sailing. The clerks were very personable and asked if we needed anything else. They were nice enough to call me and let me know that I left my car keys at the front desk. Our room was top-notch, we had a king size bed and TV. The room was very, very clean. My granddaughter fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow. Once I got comfortable I was out too!! It was very hard to get up, that bed was super comfortable!!! I told my cousin about my room and she was happy that everything worked out!! I usually stay with her when I come for weekends, but her house was full of relatives that flew in, so I really didn't mind getting a room. I drove from Stockton, not as much traveling as my other relatives. They flew in from New York, Las Vegas & San Diego!! I might add she had a great party a a very nice hall. read more

Possibly one of the worst Courtyards I've stayed at. I pretty much don't have any requirements for this type of hotel except that it be at least decently clean. This hotel meets the decently clean requirement but the furniture is practically falling apart. 80% of the pleather office chair is like peeling and I wouldn't even sit on it. The desk has all this weird damage on it like someone randomly decided to start attacking it with a screwdriver. The overall service was pretty non existent too. It wasn't like a nightmare or anything but definitely sub par and a little uncomfortable on multiple levels. read more

Where to begin, not clean hair on bed they didn't vacuum our room since the first night , we had a group of 30 plus since we travel for a taekwondo tournament.. They told our professor they couldn't tolerate us that we couldn't be in lobby . People at front desk need to change their attitude guests should be your number one priority. BED BUG ALERT! I was put in room 501 on 1/26/24. I always have a difficult time sleeping so at 2:30 AM, I sat up, turned on the light and looked behind me. There, where I had been laying was a BED BUG!!!! Just walking across the sheet (blurry photo). I scooped him up with a plastic cup and put one of those paper covers over it (see photos). He's nice and red - as if he'd just been feeding on me. I was quite impressed with Courtyard's response - AT FIRST. I called down to the front desk. There was no manager on site since it was 2:30 AM, but the woman at the counter was so nice, helpful and sympathetic that it was impossible to stay angry. She came right up with a bell boy luggage trolley and moved me to another room at the other end of the hallway near the elevator. I was shoving everything into my suitcase willy-nilly, and she helped stack stuff on the trolley. I showed her the bed bug. She took a photo of it and told me that she was going to send it to the manager. She even helped me lift the mattress and look at the seams for evidence of bed bugs in this new room. We didn't see any (but then I hadn't seen any in room 501 either.) Now comes the unimpressive, downright irresponsible part. I was away the next day, 1/27/24, and when I came in the main entrance around 4:30 PM, the man at the front desk asked how my room was. He had checked me in the day before so he said "Room 501, right?" So I told him that I had had to move and why. He had no idea! He is checking people in. If he doesn't know, he might check someone into Room 501. When a room has bed bugs, mattresses need to be treated with steam/heat and insecticides. This has to be done every few days to catch any new bugs that didn't die b/c they were still eggs. So you absolutely can NOT rent out that room for at least a week or 2. The following morning, 1/28, when I left my room for the day (and checked out) there was a housekeeper cleaning that room. I had seen someone cleaning the room the previous morning, so the fact that they were cleaning it again the next day means that the hotel must have rented the room to a guest. This is completely irresponsible. Those guests who had the room the night after me could have been bitten (some people have very serious allergic reactions) and also could have taken some bed bugs home with them, perpetuating the cycle. When I got down stairs to check out, the man at the counter asked me how my stay was, so I told him about the bed bugs (of which he had no knowledge). He asked if I'd like a manager to call me. I said, "I would have thought that one already would have." They absolutely should have called me on the 27 to apologize. But I gave the gentleman my number and he said that a manager would call me. A week later, no one has called. That day, another woman who was also staying at the same hotel asked me if they comped me for the bed bugs. I told her they had not. She was surprised. She told me that they had comped her because she complained that the internet was slow. What?!? Which is worse - bed bugs or slow internet?!? The managers at this hotel are completely incompetent. I do have to add that while I was in Room 501, before I discovered the bed bug, the internet was really bad. It kept fading out. I'd be "going along" and suddenly a page wouldn't load. That cycle repeated itself until I decided to go to sleep. But when I moved down to the room at the other end of the hallway, which is above the front desk, I had no internet problems at all, so they need to boost their signal. Lastly, service in their restaurant was terrible to non-existent. I went down the first night to get some dinner and sat for 15+ minutes before a waitress came. They were supposed to serve breakfast in the mornings (omelettes, pancakes, etc.) but there was nothing out either morning except cold muffins and croissants cut in half. Not even bagels and cream cheese. I do not recommend this hotel due to their callus attitude and response to bed bugs. After posting this review, I looked at other recent reviews. Another review here mentions bed bugs from March of 2023. Seriously? That was less than a year ago. This hotel seriously needs to shut down, tent up and buy new mattresses. read more

Motel 6 quality, maybe worse. Very run down, dirty, and room smelled like wet dog. We always inspect the beds when we arrive and while we didn't see any bugs, the mattresses itself were disgusting. Bed bugs alert don't stay here. I was moved to 3 different rooms while staying there for 1 week. Only reason why I stayed here because it was close to a hospital that my mom was in. I did not feel safe here. I would not recommend this place. Beware bed bugs read more

Worst hotel on the plant review part 1. The fire alarm keeps going off all night. Staff won't pick up the phone, you walk down 5 flights of stairs at night (elevators don't work and inspection certificate 2 months out of date anyway). Staff don't know what's going on. It is across the street from Six Flags and I'm sure when SF is open this hotel gets packed with lots of traffic.... There's a really large parking lot, but only one entrance infront is open and I'm sure that's bec of the homeless encampment across the street. We are thankful for that bec it makes the cars safer from break in's, from our experience. The outside of the hotel is not very appealing so it's a huge surprise how trendy and pretty the entryway, lounge, bar, everything is in the main lobby area. It is almost all together, like one great room. The young lady at the reception desk is very friendly and welcoming :-) Unfortunately, here's where it drops to a one star hotel. The carpets are trashed and have splattered bleach stains in the elevators and hallways. The hallways are showing their worn out. The hotel doors are all dirty and some chipped or broken. Entering the room was interesting. Our bedroom door was closed with the tv on and the door between our room and the nieghbor was open. I got the heebie jeebies like someone was in there watching tv. I actually started looking for cameras....just a strange feeling I've never had. The headboard has greasy handprints all over it. There's food on the chair and floor. The furniture is old and stained. I literally had to check for bed bugs bec that's how bad the rooms are. The cleaning personal DID NOT CLEAN THIS ROOM!!!! We will not be returning here ever and definitely do not recommend it. read more

3.5 Stars!!! Located across from Six Flags Discovery Kingdom on Fairgrounds Drive, this Courtyard Marriott is a great central location to stay at if you're visiting Napa/Sonoma, Santa Rosa, San Francisco, and other Bay Area cities. The lobby area is spacious and shares the same space as the lounge and bistro. The lounge is modern with bright blues and yellows and is equipped with electrical outlets in each section. There is also a "Business Center" with a couple computers you can use, if you need the Internet. And a printer is also available for your convenience. The customer service we received was great and everyone we encountered during our stay was pleasant with a professional demeanor. I had problems with the bedding in our room that left me with 6 bug bites on my legs. An employee had come to check on the bed to check for ticks/fleas since there was a dog show the prior week (yikes!)... Also this is a dog-friendly hotel. Luckily, the bed didn't have any signs of ticks or fleas, and my bedding was changed with new linens. During our stay, we left the "Sleeping In (Do Not Disturb)" sign one day since we had valuables. We were surprised that someone still came into our rooms to make our bed and change out the towels. It's a good gesture but the purpose was to make sure our valuables would still be in our room. There were no safes in our rooms but, thankfully, nothing too valuable disappeared except for a pair of Skull Candy Earphones that someone from our party left on her bed (turned up missing). Some of the amenities it includes are a microwave, fridge (perfect for when we stored wine from Napa), blowdryer (I always bring my own since mine is powerful), iron and ironing board, laundry room, gym, TV (we didn't even use it), and free wi-fi and free parking. Overall, this hotel is decent and the showers heat up real quickly (something I look for in hotels). It's central to all the touristy towns/cities and also across from an amusement park. I like how it's so close to the freeway and next to a gas station. I wouldn't mind staying here again as the service far exceeded the look of our hotel room. Oh, and Mark, the security, was great! He even waved at us as we drove in and out of the property. Thanks, Courtyard Marriott! read more

Stayed here for one night while visiting Vallejo. The hotel is off of Fairground Drive across from a Six Flags theme park. Was raining really hard when I arrived. Checked in, the manager, a very nice man named Nader (sp?) assisted me, then took the time to tell me all about the hotel and its amenities and requested that I let them know how they could make my stay better. After checking in, I found that they still have clunky, old-style analog CRT-based TVs in the rooms. On my way down, I stopped and advised Nader they should go HD. He claims that they have bought the HD sets for all the rooms and they would be deploying them soon. I told him they should avoid the mistake that most hotels make: Providing mostly SD channels for HD TVs. I strongly recommended they provide a full range of HD channels for the HD TVs. Later I plunked myself down at the bar in the lobby with my MacBook Pro to do some work - it was the only part of the lobby where I could find more than two electrical outlets so I could charge my MacBook Pro, iPhone, and Mifi all at the same time. Around 5:00 pm, the bartender arrived and opened up the bar - and she gave me and the other patron bowls of pretzels - that were stale. We advised they were stale. So she got another bag of pretzels - also stale (both bags had been previously opened). Later I wanted to order a vodka martini - with either Gray Goose or Ketel 1 vodka. They were out of both brands of vodka. When it was time to crash for the evening, I started to get into bed and found my bed and the pillows were soaking wet. I looked around and could not see where any water was coming from - either from the ceiling or the wall. I called the front desk. They sent up an engineer with a room key for a room next door and he looked around the room and was puzzled as to where the water was coming from. The next door room thankfully had a dry bed and pillows. The bed was actually quite firm and comfortable, as were the pillows. The next morning I ate breakfast in the hotel lobby restaurant. Had oatmeal with raisins and nuts and a side of bacon and eggs and an English muffin with Peanut Butter and a cup of coffee. The Oatmeal was a bit on the thick side and needed to be thinned a bit. Other than that, the meal was fine. I then checked out. Service was good for the most part, the hotel staff were very friendly and eager to please. They just need to fix a few things and make sure they have adequate supplies in the future. Cons: - Currently no HD TVs/no HD TV service - Wet bed - Stale Pretzels - No quality vodka Pros: - Friendly, eager to please staff - Beds and pillows are firm - Rooms were clean I'd give this place another shot in the future... read more

Booked on hotels.com. I called to let them know two days in advance of my stay that flights were cancelled due to ice, and they would not cancel/refund my reservation. They would cancel with no refund so they could charge someone else to stay in an already paid for room and make twice the money.......They were rude and unhelpful on the phone, and I was told I had to wait until 3 days after I was supposed to be there (so 5 days from the call) for the general manager to decide if he would refund. I have stayed here twice now and I can honestly say that the reason for me returning was the restaurant and mostly the Bartender / Host Bridget. When the bar is not stocked (out of mixers) (not her fault) she genuinely tries to make things right for the guest. This is refreshing as the front desk doesn't share montra. I fully recommend the Chicken Pot Pie for dinner, it is hands down the best I have had other than my wifes (hers is the best by default), If you are in the area for business I fully recommend that this be your hub for work. If you are here for play there is plenty do do around the area from the Discovery Kingdom to the vineyards that are a short drive away. Again Bridget is what makes me want to come back to this place again and again. read more

It's 0 stars for me . My sister and I had to go to Vallejo due to a emergency with my mom who had a stroke. It was recommended from staff at the hospital to stay last minute. The looks are nice outside but everything isn't what it seems. Being we had to travel a hour away from home to stay 2 weeks the first 3 were awful for myself and my sister. I had to wash clothes all day I couldn't be by my mother's bed all the hotel did was give soap for me to wash all day didn't give us the money to wash didn't pay for us another place to stay either for our remaining time. We didn't ask for our stuff to be dirty I won't stay there at none of there properties. Corporate is not responsive we threw away the luggage our shoes, and clothes been 3 weeks stalling on replying to my sister . I know we are clean people we didn't bring this we didn't ask for this and for them to have nasty furniture peeling I can't. And to say across the street from Six Flags I'll pass and tell people be careful too I saw men walking the halls alone like scoping rooms strange women too going up and down on the elevator. Id say women go in packs and dont walk alone strange men walking alone on the floor just gave a bad feeling as a woman watching my back. They didn't even say after it was confirmed the same day by there exterminator it was bed bugs after searching for another room till 11 pm maybe to another room we get that no . Marriott are where we stay everywhere for starters. We are platinum members ( not that it means much). Our requirements for a room are not extreme nor out of the ordinary. I felt this particular Marriott does not live up to the name. From coming to check in, without being greeted or given any hotel info. We felt as if we were bothering the young ladies just by showing up. The hotel appeared clean but a little worn. Headed up to our room which was clean as well. As the night went on our toilet handle has broke, the air conditioner doesn't cool the room and the window doesn't open. To compensate for the air. The TV stopped working and there isn't complimentary coffee downstairs. We assumed but were never told housekeeping would not be coming. It is the many little things that add up to make a place rate low. I think managment could use a little training on how tonyrain and hold their folks accountable first and possible checking on roo. Functionality on a periodic basis as well should be added in as is suppose to happen. Not saying you shouldn't stay but don't expect the normal things to work. read more
