I went with a tasting flight, which was a great way to explore their lineup--from smooth, approachable pours to more complex, higher-proof options. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the whiskey and how it's presented. The cocktails were also a highlight. Super well-balanced and not overdone. The Old Fashioned-style drink I had was spot on--clean, strong, and exactly what you want at a whiskey bar. Food-wise, everything hit. The oysters were fresh and paired perfectly with the drinks, and the hot dog + tots combo was simple but done really well--definitely exceeded expectations. Thankfully there's no shortage of distillers in northern California with quality products and better customer service.

There is food from Gracie's BBQ next door- VBC serves up smaller, more bar-friendly bites, but you're able to order from Gracie's full menu. They do not allow other outside food to be brought in. They also have a variety of board games (even the hook ring game) to be borrowed while you're enjoying your beers, and they have 4 pack beers to go!
