The parking lot is not that big, so when a few guests get to use more spaces because their vehicle needs more than 5 spots that is not fair to the rest of us

It's a little detail, but if you're a loyal Hilton brand person, you know why it's funny because they always seem to be full! The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, but even with that, everything was pretty clean. Service was friendly and efficient, even though they were busy. I got one of the newly remodeled rooms which was nice. The room was nice and met my needs for a one night business stay. My only complaint was the lack of a closet. I don't really care to have my clothes out on display. If I were staying for several days or traveling with family with bags or luggage, I might look for somewhere else for that reason. As a solo traveler, though, the room more than met my needs for a night. No issues with my stay, and I would stay here again. Hotel construction and location were a challenge.

Room - clean, spacious, and well stocked. It might be simple, but water pressure and temperature are both excellent. In-room coffee, plenty of towels, a desk for working or eating, a comfy side chair, and iron/ironing board. Amenities - as mentioned before, there is both an on-premise restaurant and separate lounge. They both looked spacious and welcoming. Sadly, I didn't visit either, regrettably deciding to hit Ruby Tuesday's for their AYCE garden bar (I prefer to call it the AYCE E-coli bar). They offer pet-friendly rooms. They are separate, and come with a one-time $25 fee. On TV, I found many premium channels for movies, and all the standard cable package channels (via DirecTV). Parking was ample, but must warn that walking distances could be long because of the parking and building layout. Everything worked as I would expect - drapes closed without problems, sink stopper held water in the sink, the sink drained rapidly, the lights all worked, etc. The towels were soft; the bed was comfortable and the pillows were ample. A complimentary breakfast is provided. Hot items included omelets, sausage, biscuits and gravy and waffles; cold items included cereal, yogurt, sliced fruit. The hotel is next door to a Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, so a meal and some shopping is a short walk away.

Dirt, smears, and hair were all over. There was no liner in the trash, AND trash was present. The towels appeared not to be fully stocked and were hung incorrectly. The bed was not made right and there was no comforter. The second room was just as bad, AND had a blood/brown stain on the foldout sofa. When I let the desk guy know he was not surprised and said it was an ongoing problem. He got us some clean sheets and a comforter. I also let the daytime desk guy know at checkout. He sighed and made a note as well. No other concession was offered. If this was my first trip here, i might not write this review. I might just move on to a different hotel. But this hotel needs to improve.

Biggest concern i have would be the heater/ac unit in the room, looks and smells like it hasn't been cleaned since maybe 2005.(no surprise ) Regardless overall I wouldn't come expecting top notch service and quality. It's comfortable and good for a short stay or a long stay. Overall the hotel experience is great for what it is.
