Courtside Kitchen is just FUN FUN FUNW... whether you play pickleball, or just visit for the EXCELLENT food & beverage menu. FOOD: sandwiches, salads, flatbreads, apps... all are TASTY. BEVERAGE: Plenty of options, including seasonal beers. ACTIVITIES: Pickleball courts can be reserved (& equipment brought or rented), outdoor Connect Four, many MANY TVs to watch. SEATING: A lot of indoor & outdoor tennis tables. SERVICE: Attentive & kind & give great menu recommendations. LOCATION: Parking is a challenge due to adjacency to University Village, but just be patient bc you'll find a spot. Building ambience is bright & open, what I call "rustic-functional," super clean. RECOMMENDATIONS: Hummus to start, Italian sandwich (warmed)... tastes like a muffaletta (if you know, you know), AND Kale salad. Enjoy!

I stopped by Courtside Kitchen for brunch while I was in town. The place was super cute, offering pickle-ball court rentals (makes sense for the name of the restaurant haha). I definitely would've loved to come to play a few rounds but we came for a dining table instead. The brunch menu offered an array of items, from Mexican influenced meals to more traditional items such as Benedicts. I personally went with the breakfast sandwich. The food honestly took a whileee to come out, especially for a restaurant that wasn't super packed at the time. My sandwich was packed with avocado, bacon, and a fried egg. It was yummy but I was expecting a bit more flavor to it. The fries on the side were also a bit salty for my liking - I found myself brushing the salt off them. I really wish I could say I loved this spot. It was definitely a super cute brunch place but the food just missed the mark for me.

Such an awesome place to play some pickleball. The food here is great too. Had the brunch burger and parm fries which was delicious and was recommended by our waiter who was so attentive to us and kept asking if we needed anything. Great service and such a homey feel to the whole place. Will definitely be coming back to play and eat!!!

The place is so nice and yet casual. The staff is well trained and very friendly. Our drinks were spot on. The food was so good we just kept eating until we didn't need a to go box. That's a first. There was outdoor seating and tons of pickle ball courts. We will be back when we are close to the Ft Worth zoo area. Cudo's to the concept and execution

A literal courtside kitchen, good food with the entertainment of playing some pickle ball! It's a very cute spot and we were all happy with our food! The pimento cheese appetizer was delicious. We tried several brunch items! Loved the omelet and potatoes. The biscuits and gravy proportionally needed more gravy, but that's an easy fix! Very clean inside! I personally felt as if the portion sizes could've been larger when it came to the meals, but we were overall satisfied and would happily come back!

A new concept...sports bar, restaurant and pickle ball Megaplex! We didn't eat but the food I saw looked good. I didn't know what to expect but was blown away by the size of the facility, the amount of activity that was happening, the size of the restaurant, the number of seating areas to simply sit and chat, or watch tv. The atmosphere was upbeat, a bit loud with the music, and took a minute for me to settle in as I was playing. I think there was a league going on and there was a lot of movement on all sides of the court which distracted me a bit initially. It is a great venue and a fun place. If you enjoy pickle ball, it is certainly a place you should try. They have done a excellent job with a concept I had not seen before. If I lived in Ft Worth, this would be a regular place for me to visit!

Great brunch menu and service priced right. We timed our reservation at the right time to enjoy the atmosphere with friends.

First and foremost, great place for pickleball, all but one court is covered and are all in great shape. Gorgeous large interior seating area as well as a large wraparound bar inside. Large seating area outdoors as well as plenty of TVs both inside and out. Had brunch after the Saturday mix n match they have and I got the hot chicken and French toast. The chicken was a boneless breast fried to perfection and the slice of French toast was thick, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Served with hot sauce butter and maple syrup this dish was a 9.8/10. Great place to come play pickleball, have a few drinks and hangout.

I have been twice and was completely ignored. Never even got seated. That's two times too many. I would give zero stars if I could.

Yelp Elite Event…read more... I tell you, Kendall, once again, you put together such a wonderful evening. It is always wonderful to see our Elite Family. I love West Jax! The environment is relaxing and classy, and it was the perfect place for a night out. Customer Service: Always top-notch! Brittney, our server, was always present and was able to help me choose the perfect drink that matched what I desired. I wanted a Whiskey Sour, and because they did not have that on the menu, she suggested the Smoked Rosemary Blackberry Bourbon Sour. She was spot on; it was delicious, and it was my first time to have a smoked drink. It was different, and every drop was enjoyed. Our entertainment for the evening was Clover the Violinist. She is FULL of talent and kept our tunes going the whole night; she perfectly mastered all genres. I was happy to find out, she plays at that location occasionally. I'd love to support her, when able. She played a bit of SZA, Justin Beiber, Chris Brown, Chris Stapleton, etc. What a great night of entertainment! The Food: Crave Cookies - Thank you, Crave. I appreciate you adding to our beautiful night with your cookies. Perrotti's Pizza: Thank you, Perrotti's. I appreciate you treating us to pizza! What a great night!!

The noise level was extremely high...we literally had to yell just to have a conversation with each other. Service was also very slow. It took about 15 minutes just to be acknowledged at the bar, and close to 30 minutes to actually receive a drink. When I finally ordered, I told the bartender to make her favorite drink. She made something that included raw egg whites (which I later learned is common in certain cocktails), but it wasn't mentioned or explained at the time. A few hours later, I became very sick...vomiting and dealing with what felt like severe food poisoning all night and through the next 24 hours. After looking into it, I suspect it may have been related to the raw egg used in the drink. Just something to be aware of if you're ordering drinks like a whiskey sour or anything that may include egg whites. After getting our receipt (which you need for the speakeasy entry code), we checked out the speakeasy portion, but the vibe there wasn't great either..pretty must the same as the other part of the bar. We ended up leaving within about five minutes. Overall, the experience didn't live up to the hype for us....between the noise, long wait times, and how we were treated, it just wasn't enjoyable. For comparison, the bar next door, Archibald, felt much more welcoming. Maybe regulars have a different experience, but as first-time guests, we were not impressed.

We ordered nachos as an appetizer to split, along with two beers and a kids meal. What arrived was Motley Crue waking from a drug binge, raiding the pantry and trash, then declaring "let's do it." What was supposed to be nachos was anything but. The only explanation is someone who had never seen nachos tried to recreate them after hearing a rumor from someone at a Lowe's parking lot. The "chips" were not tortilla chips. They were rectangular strips of pale, flimsy material that looked like scraps of drywall film pulled out of a new construction site. An albino drywall experiment that somehow escaped the kitchen and landed on a plate. The entire thing was covered in barbecue sauce, with some mystery white liquid poured over the top. We assume it was supposed to be queso, but it definitely was not queso. Calling it queso feels disrespectful to actual queso. We ate maybe a quarter of it and decided we needed to leave before things got worse. Six hours later, we received an unannounced encore performance in the bathroom. I would avoid this place like a plague outbreak--unless you have an upcoming colonoscopy and want to skip the bowel prep.

We poke our heads in (accidentally going through the exit door. the front door is well camouflaged) and just found a wonderful very chilled out bar. Haven't been to a speakeasy in a long time. It was dark lighting with ambient black lights and string lights to keep it dim but you wont struggle to see through. Music was not super loud and the chairs were incredibly comfortable and the whole place was laid out to just have drinks and lounge while talking with friends. No food, which is fine. You have plenty of options on the same block for that. This place is just for drinks and conversation. The seasonal menu was awesome. It iss a bar so they of course can make anything you request if you don't want a specialty cocktail. I got my favorite, a moscow mule but they had a brazilian mule on the specialty menu. I never had that before and ordered it on the spot. It was grapefruit vodka with lime, lots of fine pellett nugget ice (the really good kind) with ginger beer and condensed milk. My god it was great, they told me how they made it because i never saw milk added to this before. It was a delicious limeade that almost was slushy like, creamy and with tangy vodka. Plus they actually served it in a proper copper mug. Best mixed drink ive had period and a cool twist on my favorite standard moscow mule. The place is now going to become a frequent haunt for us. Its very laid back, relaxed, with fantastic ambiance. It doesn't get jammed packed and is not meant to get wild in. We went there around 7pm on a friday night with about 8 or so others already there with their drinks. It did pick up later with 15-20 people in there but still spacious and comfortable. It genuinely was just a nice bar to have drinks and conversations with friends. Nice music that isn't too loud so you can talk with normal voice levels. The bartenders we had were super nice and charismatic. The drinks were not expensive, a respectable 13 bucks for my mule. If you have a bill over 40 dollars they automatically add 20% gratuity to it so keep that in mind when you are tipping. And after 8pm everything had 20% gratuity added to the bill. But the service is so damn good that you will probably still want to tip on top of that anyways. I loved it so much i actually made a yelp account just to post a review. TLDR super cool speakeasy type joint, cool aesthetics and laundry theme. Not loud, good for drinks and chit chat, cool well crafted specialty cocktails that don't break the bank. Good bartenders. Good times. Cozy seats that encourage you to hang out and talk even with folks you haven't met before and dim without being dark lighting. Clean bathroom too and quick charismatic service. Hit this place up for sure even just for the novelty of it. It was a wonderful surprise bar for a date night. Pro tip for this area in general. all paid parking, some place validates some do not, i am unsure if they do here but there is paid parking right out front and also a paid lot literally across the street. But i don't even bother. About a block and a half away northeast is a big shopping complex with a target. i just park there for free and walk. its a short nice walk and doesn't cost 20 bucks.
