Quick friendly service with hearty portions. Perfect level for sound and being able to converse. Also had chicken chili-amazing! And shrimp cakes.

    Bbq burger and upgraded fries

The food I got was good. It was the bbq burger. Very good flavor medium cook on the beef and the bun was nice and soft. The cheese was melted perfectly I added the upgrade fries and those were pretty good too. Was it worth the extra $3 hmm maybe but if you don't like aoli then prolly not. The meal was $21 so it is a bit in the higher side. Other comparable burgers are out there. Would I come back? Probably just to try the other burgers.

A group of us get together & ride bikes from Two Rivers to Manitowoc on the paved trail along Lake Michigan shore. We do this at least once every summer! We always end up at The Courthouse Pub. Love to sit outside and get a bite to eat & a beverage. I look forward to the summer beer Patio Pounder...(I believe it's a Czech Pilsner with Raspberry Lemoncello. It's quite refreshing; especially on a hot humid day like today! Our server, Kayla was awesome. Very patient with the 5 of us! I decided to try the Fish Tacos & French Fries. So good & tasty! I look forward to visiting The Courthouse every summer! (I live in Phoenix ) Love all the pretty flowers; sure miss those pretty pinks, purples & yellows!

Tried something different, so I wanted to give an update to my previous review. I've always enjoyed their steaks, fish tacos (not on menu anymore?) and fish and chips. Tonight I tried something different... I ordered the Osso Bucco. It was great! This pork shank was very tasty and the meat was juicy and fall off the bone tender. They gave me a knife with the meal, but never had a reason to use it! Cheese curd appetizer - excellent, and so was the Carrot Cake to go!

    Check out the fancy salt

Courthouse Pub remains one of the top restaurants in the area and likely the only one where I would be comfortable talking important business clients. Excellent food and a nicely curated wines and beer. Attentive and courteous service. Strongly recommend.

We visited this place while in Two Rivers for our anniversary. We had a dinner reservation and arrived early, but they were ready to seat us. Our server was friendly and attentive. They even printed a special menu saying "happy anniversary." I love the history of the restaurant building and how it was rebuilt to meet building codes with the original building blue print. Also, the food was delicious!! So many upscale burgers, sandwiches, and entrees to choose from! I had the coconut chicken and my husband had the pork belly miso. Some of the best food we've had dining! I definitely recommend eating here in Two Rivers.

I feel like Courthouse Pub is a bit of a hidden gem in Manitowoc. Our food was really wonderful! We started with smoked salmon dip. Didn't want to ruin our appetites, so we boxed up half and I enjoyed it the next couple of days. Next, I had the Briased Pork Belly with a ginger carrot risotto & pea shoots that was oh so tasty. Only downfall is that I didn't speak up to have the server box up the portion I didn't eat. Hubby went with Hanger Steak that he really enjoyed. Now the beers are a bit of a different story. My Agave Shandy tasted like a margarita with rocks, salt & tequila - not super. And hubby's Hopped & Loaded ("double" IPA) was more like a single. All in all, though, a good visit next to the cool architecture of the real courthouse.

My friend and I sat in a booth catching up for a couple of hours. The bar and restaurant is big, and we felt no pressure to leave. Our server was so nice. The soups are homemade. I had beef vegetable soup, yummy! My sandwich was delicious. Fresh turkey, lettuce and tomato on a good sturdy, tasty bread. I like the celery and carrot stick with dip on the side. I need to come here more. I really enjoyed my lunch!

We love Friar's BUT.. they do not take reservations so ...my husband & I came in, told them we had…read moretwo more couples coming. They said we could have the one & only big corner round table but we couldn't be seated yet. Our second couple arrived but we still couldn't be seated...we could not be seated until the third couple arrived!! IN FACT the server said IF six people had walked in just then, they would have given them the one & only table for six even though we had just requested & made it clear we wanted it & our third couple would be there soon (which they were). Thankfully it worked out. But definitely not the place to go if your group is more than 4! Food was pretty good & our waitress was great so still 3 stars but as far as working with bigger groups- 1 star if i could! Also they need to educate their very young bartender on what Amber beers are....
