Also came here on a Saturday night in October, with a packed house, an underground haunted speakeasy and merriment in the air, also aided by some delicious in house brews. I'll come back anytime, particularly for the excellent bock. It doesn't hurt that the servers are super friendly, seating is plentiful (maybe not the most comfortable chairs) and there are pinball machines.

But I loved the friendly service and the space itself. It's wonderful for a band-which was why I was there. There's a hallway of art work, with an art studio. Down the hall from there is a window with the adjacent restaurant selling a large variety of flat breads. Again, more artwork. Then you see the barrels and the quaintly decorated bathroom doors. Really, it's worth it to see. I really like 3 Trails Brewery and will return.

Score has pool tables and darts which seemed popular. They also had karaoke going on which always seems to draw a crowd. The kitchen was open late and I was starving so I ordered a steak salad, definitely recommend as it was cooked to order with a nice amount steak on top. Prices were on par with sports bar prices. The bartender was very friendly and encouraged me to go up and sing. After some liquid courage I got up the nerve to sing a sing. The karaoke host was cool and welcoming too. Score was a great score indeed!

It's good food period! Erin's has the best mozzarella sticks anywhere that I've tried (and believe me, I've had a lot of fried cheese). Their Taco Thursdays are also a regular craving I have. Service is always friendly and fast, even when they're busy. Shoutout to Carrie and Kirby - they're rockstars! Personal opinion, I do think the overuse of AI in their recent advertisements is a bit much. I liked the unedited pics of their real food they used to post better than the new cartoonish pics. But just my opinion - doesn't change the fact that Erin's is one of the best spots around! A must try!

Plus, the happy hour prices are attractive and the 'portion sizes' for the drinks are more than ample. You know what else is good? The pricing. Happy hour prices aside, Saints-Independence is offering a price point that is a bit below market for their fare, and in these times, that alone can draw you in. But, ah, there's the rub. The food is pretty average, so it's a good thing that you likely aren't going to squabble over the bill. Bar & grille food isn't usually supposed to blow your hair back, but Saints has a lot of fried options that seem under-seasoned and slow to be delivered, sooo not exactly prime. The servers are friendly, but if they have to cover the patio and the bar/dining room, then it's not a surprise that things move slowly. It's a great spot to meet, given that it's just off of I-70, but join for a drink & maybe an appetizer, and my guess is that you'll come to the same conclusion: it's just...OK.

It still catered to the heavy metal crowd throughout that time. Now it's called Damage Control. The crowds are more mellow than in the past, and they are diversifying the acts to cover all facets of rock instead of just metal. (There's even an Acoustic Night.) The bar is very old and run down. Some might even describe it as crappy. But it has potential. The bartenders were all very nice and friendly. In addition to the music, there's pool and darts. Monday night is dart league night, the bartender waffled on whether the bar is open to the general public that night or not. There's also a menu that is surprisingly interesting and diverse for a place like this. One appetizer that caught my eye was the Tube Screamers -- cheese sticks that are wrapped in ham before being breaded and fried. Basically, ham & cheese sandwiches in stick form. I was going to give this 2 stars because it was really run down and doesn't have near enough bathrooms for the potential crowd size, but since I wasn't here during a music event I'm giving it benefit of doubt.
