We also did a shot of the stonebreaker cinnamon whiskey, which was a really nice collab between fringe and another local distillery. Super smooth with an oaky flavor on the background. Absolutely love the dark carnival decor, especially the pinball machines, the giant skeleton and the patio with a garage door interior. Highly highly recommend on every level. You should go!

There is a story for much of the art work which I will not do a disservice by trying put it in a review. Go there, see it and ask they'll gladly share the story. Second, INCREDIBLE beers are on tap. I tasted 10 during my visit and every single beer was worth trying. My faves were: Freshly Squeezed Blueberry Lemonade Wheat, Apple Pie Milkshake IPA and Calliope Caramel Cream Ale. Finally, the most important part of the operation is the people. Every single person that was present made me feel welcome and like I was already a part of their community. WOW, I was left feeling like I'd made new friends which I know I did. I travel to KC at least once per year and every year I will return to support this awesome brewery. I know because we ordered two flights which consisted of five tasters each and we still didn't try everything. But I did enjoy what we did get. They had a really good smoked porter that would pair perfectly with some bbq. And they also had a blackberry lemonade seltzer that was refreshing and perfect for this summer heat wave. We came from the airport because our flight was late (big shock). The area nearby was quiet in a slightly deserted way for Thursday. There is an upstairs and downstairs, connected to a Vine Street Chicken place. One could drink/eat upstairs but the Bingo was downstairs. It was quiet for a Thursday, only 9 or 8 tables playing. We sat with our flight and listened to the numbers and patterns. We didn't win anything but it was fun. I got samples of East 71 (Cream Ale); Worth the Climb (Pilsner); Jazzman (Dark Lager) and Hood Saison. I got a full pint of the Jazzman as well. The only food they serve is VIne Street chicken, so we ordered that after the game; we wanted to eat downstairs so my party picked it up and brought it downstairs. There was eventually a bartender downstairs as well. One not great thing was that when we arrived at 7 or so, (we parked nearby) the bar downstairs was not open, so we had to order upstairs and BRING the flight downstairs. No elevator! It was interesting taking a paddle of 4 small glasses of beer down a flight of stairs. I guess after 2 flights we did not want to wait til after Bingo to get beer. The food was very good, the chicken and mac/cheese was great, but the only sauce I liked was the peach Bourbon. Yum! Both bartenders were friendly and helpful, and there were board games and sofas for cool nights, and a nice outdoor patio for sitting outside. I worked my way through quite a few beers: Hop Cuddle, the collaboration with Tall Trellis, their Mexican-style lager, Weathered Wit, Pavers Porter, and the rice lager. Every single one was excellent, but that rice lager was probably my favorite. Crisp, clean, refreshing, incredible mouthfeel -- one of those beers that disappears way faster than you planned. The Hall consists of 3 floors and they have plenty of parking, both lot and garage. The main floor has all the merchandise and to go beers, a self guided little tour, a little bar area. The second floor has beer and food. The menu has been updated a few times but I've ordered several items and all have been good. I believe the last time I went they expanded into pizza. They have a couple of bar areas, one with a majority of their offerings and the other for experimental beers. I like the experimental offerings and I regularly check them out. On the larger bar they have seasonal, year round, and sometime specialty beers. They also offer seltzers if beer isn't your thing. They have lots of seating including patio. The patio is nice because it overlooks the city and they're expanding it. The 3rd level I'm personally less familiar with. They call it the Rec Dec and I've been up there maybe once. They have games like shuffleboard that you can rent lanes for. They also offer more cocktail like drinks so I'd recommend this level if you're less into beer. All three levels have excellent service. Definitely check them out if you're in town or in the area!

You can order food from a QR code on your table or at the bar. Nothing super crazy, but decent pizza and sandwiches. They've got a nice patio balcony as well. Check out the small bar for experimental pours - this past time there was a Dubai chocolate stout, and another time I had a divine apple pie ale. And don't forget the gift shop! They really have some groovy merch, and the ability to craft your own six packs. What's better than some brewskis straight from the source??
