They also had some food specials (hot dogs and smash burgers, but I imagine this rotates.) The team was so friendly and is super passionate about Kansas City and the Westside neighborhood. Superb jazz trio tonight; acoustics are excellent. Music in varying formats every night on a small stage. The dedication of prominent floor space to the stage in a place this size demonstrates a serious commitment to the music. This town has so much talent! A new venue is most welcome. 3. "Mocktails." It's a sober venue, but "mocktail" seems entirely inadequate to describe the creative mixology happening here. These drinks are as surprising and creative as they are delicious. 4. Menu: everything we tasted is an elevated version. Layers of flavor. These dishes are simply not ordinary. However, they had a great selection of mocktails for a reasonable price. The food. High prices and the proportions seemed small. I ordered the bbq pulled pork sandwich and it tasted great! Highly recommend. Now the service varied depending who you got. Our waitress seemed confused at times and took a long time to take my cousin's and I order. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt because it was a soft opening, but the other waiters, bartender, and front of house worked together to make sure service went well.
