I did not have time to compare prices and called Nelson based on recommendation I saw on Nextdoor app. That was the best decision I ever made. Nelson responded right away and explained over the phone of the issues and what needed to be done. He fixed both toilets and repaired the water lines. I was so impressed that I had him come back to do the remaining 2 bathrooms to prevent future potential issues. Knowing that I was overseas and was not able to pay him immediately onsite upon completion, he trusted me enough to complete the jobs anyway. Of course I wired him the money afterward. Nelson far exceeded my expectation with his professionalism, timeliness, responsiveness, quality, and price. Most important of all, he is honest and will tell you what the bottom line is....no gimmick, no upsell which I really appreciate especially when I am half way across the world. I highly recommend Bargain Plumbing of NOVA....you will not go wrong. Needless to say, Nelson is now on my "plumber" contact list. Leigh K Lake Ridge, VA

We come to find out recently that it wasn't installed to code. In addition, there appear to be some other issues with the install. The mixing valve they installed - and is still under warranty - has failed. And, it is likely their shoddy work caused a leak that resulted in additional damage. That might be bad or it might just be a mistake by the individual doing the install. BUT they have been completely non-responsive. We were promised a call back yesterday but it never came and they still haven't responded. They didn't take work when they were called out last week, they just wanted more money to fix their mistakes. This is not a good company. It is run by a crooked untrustworthy individual, who doesn't care about workmanship or their customers. I would avoid them at all costs. They do do a fine job overcharging customers for poor quality work, so if that's what you are looking for certainly give them a call (just kidding, under no circumstance should you call them.)

Once there you wanted us to do the three glass doors and transoms . We had already given you over a $100 discount ma'am . Unfortunately, the three doors would be an added fee with the transoms of only $30 . We're very sorry to hear you're not happy . We invite you to pay the price of the doors with the exterior cleaning , unfortunately you wanted them included in the discounted price which was not agreed upon. We're sorry ma'am that we could not accommodate. We hope you have a very blessed day . It was lovely meeting you this morning ." When he was reminded of the estimate emailed to me he is now saying something completely different and has changed his response on Yelp. I asked for them to do the work that was quoted in their estimate below. The screens were removed and I asked that the exterior windows, to include the doors, be cleaned. Stay away from this company. Unfortunately, it cannot be fixed. The stone is like that." Not a believable explanation at all. I went to the store a week ago to talk with Florian but he was out. His assistant promised me he would call. No calls from Florian. - Poor workmanship in matching the colors/shading at the seam. - Horrible customer response after installation. I'd look elsewhere for this type of product and service.

I am helping my son-in-law purchase a…read morehouse in the Petworth neighborhood of DC, and it was my responsibility to find the inspector. I didn't want anyone recommended by the realtor because I figured they only got referrals if they approved the sale and the realtor got the commission. There were only 3 days to complete the deal, and it took one to find the inspector. I looked up Mid-Atlantic and nearly passed on them because of the 2011 review. I'm glad I didn't. The young woman on the phone convinced me that we would get an honest and objective evaluation, and the realtor (Evers &Co) also said it was a good selection though not the one they usually use or recommend. We agreed to pay the $650 fee for a standard residential inspection. Andrew Cleary was the inspector. We all met the next day at the Petworth house on which the agreed price was $650K. We could tell some of the renovation was slipshod, but in the two or three hours Andrew was there he said it was much worse than that -- totally incompetent. He identified 58 needed "repairs', including a new roof (it took a ladder to reach it and the owner must have figured no one would bother), shoring up a bathroom put atop a porch with no heating, dangerous electrical hookups, drainage problems, a new deck that was unsecured, and many many more. He said that the plumbing had not been done by a plumber, nor the electricity by an electrician, etc. The new air conditioning system was not even hooked up. On and on. Andrew was very confident and convincing, to the point that even the realtor showing the house told me that she thought too much needed to be done for my daughter and SIL to go thru with it. It was 5:30 pm by then, but Andrew e-mailed us his 45-page written report by 9 the next morning. It was all in there but the language was somewhat dry and canned rather than dramatic, which I guess is standard. The only problem I really had was his advisory estimate on the cost of the repairs, only $28K which was less than we had thought from what he said. We went back with $60K as our condition, just before the deadline. They countered with $25K but we said no and the deal was off. A day or two later they came back with an offer of $50K and we actually thought about it but there was a rainstorm and the basement had several inches of water so now the deal it totally dead. I had not realized it, but once there is an inspection, the owners have to disclose the defects to any other buyers which is why they were willing to cut so much. Our realtor did not give them Andrew's $ estimate. The $650 we paid to Mid-Atlantic saved us many thousands. But they still need a house.
