Question the integrity of this establishment. On separate occasions for dress shirts, pointed out areas where I accumulated small stains. One time, was charged an extra $2, which had never been the case with previous trips to this or other dry cleaners. When questioned why I was charged extra, I was told because of the stain. Assumed it may have been a new policy. However, on a subsequent visit, there was no additional fee. A seam also came apart on a suit jacket that was dry cleaned here... the jacket isn't the best so didn't bother pointing it out. It's the questionable integrity that is more concerning. read more

I brought them a dress that is 18 years old, wore on my first date with husband, it had a stain on it, and she said upfront she was not sure they could get the stain out since so old! Neighbors raved about their dry cleaning so decided to give them a try for buttons & mending with 10 articles of clothing. She would not quote me the price but said she would call me to let me know before she started work as she needed to ask the alteration person. Never called and when I returned she stiffed me with a hefty bill. $3/button and $5/mending hole. Rather than adding button, she made a new hole in my shirt. Mending work was crooked and uneven. I haven't tried their dry cleaning but after getting stiffed on this, I am not going to support their business. Rather drive to the cleaners closer to work. read more

Love this launder/dry cleaner. They are fast and reliable. Whenever I drop off clothes that need to be laundered they are efficient at processing the order, and I'm only charged two dollars for every shirt that's laundered and pressed. Unfortunately I cannot give them above a 1 star as far as service goes. I dropped off a wool blanket to be cleaned a week ago, I came to pick it up on the day they said it would be ready and was told I would need to come back 3 days later. A phone call would have been nice so I would not have wasted my time. I didn't pick the date to pick it up - they did - so if it isn't going to be ready then they should have had the "COURTESY" (as in the name of their business) to give me a call. I won't be back, I don't have time for that kind of nonsense particularly when there are so many other dry cleaners to choose from. read more

Read reviews on Google Maps, seemed favorable, cheap, and close to my house, so I thought I'd give it a try. Good work, but lost my shirt, lied to me about it, and made me work to resolve the problem. First time: Place seemed a bit shabby, but friendly service and the clothes were well cleaned. However, when I went to pick them up, I noticed one was missing and there was a mad dash to find it, but they did. Second time: Told I could pick up 13 shirts after 4:00 on Friday. Arrived at 3:57 and told I was early and the shirts weren't ready. Waited 10 minutes before they told me one was still not done. They tried to get me to take what was ready, but I said I would rather come back in an hour, as I was going to be traveling. Returned two hours later. Was told the "unfinished shirt" was really lost. Charged me full price for cleaning and told me they would call me by the next Wednesday with shirt - said they probably gave it to another customer?! Nice. Wednesday arrives, no phone call. I call Thursday, get several people who don't speak English on phone. They do manage to communicate that owner (Annie) will be there any minute and will call me. She never does call, so I call a second time. They had found my shirt, but never bothered calling me. Being friendly and cleaning the shirts were completely negated by their horrible customer service. I don't like being lied to, nor having to follow up for a company to fix their own mistakes. They cost me three trips to their store, two times during rush hour on a Friday. You'd think they'd offer a discount to make up for that, but no such insight on their part. In retrospect, I was a little reluctant to use the place when I saw how crummy it looked. My experience in business is that is often an indicator of how the business is run at large. Probably a correct guess. I think they lost the shirt because they don't even appear to use a tagging system, like every other dry cleaner I've ever used. I only take the time to write reviews for really good or bad service. In this case clearly bad. If you lie to customers and waste their time, you don't deserve business. read more

Very inexpensive and they do good work and a great attitude towards customer service ( short a quester? They let it go. Don't have cash and the total is too low for their charge limit, they will let you pay next time. Etc) I'm quite happy with them and plan to continue using them! I would give them five stores except they fall down a little bit in organization. Don't lose your ticket; still get your stuff, but it might take them a while to find it. If you have a partial order pick up and the rest goes back for one reason or another (in my case a forgotten hem repair) hang onto your ticket. read more

I'm a first time customer so I got the 10% discount (without asking). This is the friendliest dry cleaners I've ever used. Love the neighborhood business vibe! I'm located about a 10 minute walk away so I can get in a little exercise too. Bonus points there. I usually bring in my stuff when it's pretty grubby. Other dry cleaners might need more than one go at it to get out the worst bits. My stuff came back spotless and beautifully pressed. I got excellent advice on what to do my beloved suede jacket. I don't dry clean my clothes often so I've only come here once when I needed my shirt and suit to be dry cleaned and pressed before a wedding since regular ironing doesn't give you that crisp look. The creases on the shirt and pants came out perfectly. It held up for the most part in the suit travel bag through the plane flight and only needed a quick iron touch-up. I'm glad I've found a reasonably priced (best price in the area) and conveniently located dry cleaner. read more

Courtesy Cleaners has things down pat. Their name really says it all - Anh is the sweetest girl and she always remembers my name - courtesy at it's finest. My clothes are always clean and pressed and they have never lost anything. I love the fact that they clean everything IN HOUSE, so I don't have to worry about my items running amuck at the "warehouse" - they take full responsibility for my garments. The price is right and they are open late enough (7pm I believe) for me to dash there after I get off work. As long as I'm employed in their neck of the woods, they will be my cleaners. Courtesy Cleaners was the only place we found that was able to steam and press my wedding dress and my husband's three-piece suit on the day of the wedding. They were able to do both after we dropped the items off at 9am and we got at back by noon! Our wedding would've been a big wrinkly mess without these guys. Highly recommend them! read more

Courtesy Cleaners has become my go to dry cleaning shop after trying other cleaning locally and being shocked by prices. The reason Courtesy Cleaners has lower prices is because they do their cleaning in house, versus shipping it out (as explained to me). Thus far I have been pleased with the results after a few months of regular weekly use. I estimate the prices are about 25% less than the standard for the area. While I do have to drive to the other side of Mountain View (as I live on the border with Los Altos), my regularity of dry cleaning is worth the savings...plus I strategize my trips so it's on the way with errands like cheap gas and Costco. The gal at the counter has even memorized my name. Impressive for this little hole in the wall cleaners. Glad to finally have found my cleaners with a sustainable price tag. read more

I dropped off a couple of pairs of pants to be hemmed, a jacket with a tear, and other clothes for dry cleaning on a Wed or Thurs - can't remember which and needed them by Saturday morning. Initially, I was told it would take longer, but I told them about the situation, and they didn't complain, but just said they would get it done. They then gave me a quote, and then I came back, picked up my clothes with no issue. The hemmed pants were very well done, and repair of a tear in my jacket great. My girlfriend had a bunch of items to be cleaned and the price was a lot lower than we expected. The lady also was super friendly and gave us a discount when she found out that we were new customers. Anne (Owner) is very kind and is fair about business. I've gone through a few cleaners in the area to find this one. They are the best. I even trust them with my $500 suit. They pay attention to the small things. When I brought in my pants in for dry cleaning, and asked how much to sew a button back on the pants, she said free. It's a nice gesture you wouldn't find at most places. Also, you'll appreciate their considerable lower rates as compared to other conventional dry cleaners (non-green) in MV, but don't worry that you're somehow getting less. I would argue you're getting more for less in this case. I think the main reason they charge less is because of the location, though safe, is on the outskirts of MV and a bit hidden. I only wish they were using greener chemicals... I would pay a little more for that. read more

The front desk lady is super friendly. My boyfriend forgot our photo booth strips in his pocket when I took the suit here for dry cleaning. I just assumed we lost the pictures. When picking up I asked about the photos with very little hope, the front desk lady immediately recalled and retrieved it for me. She told me once they found a wedding ring in a jacket lol. RE: "LACK OF COURTESY CLEANERS" Despite previous cooperation from the woman manager in the past, the brother of the owner's (Nate) curt behavior does not live up to Courtesy Cleaner's name. At about 12:25 PM on 17 July 2017, Nate wanted to "nickel and dime" us to provide plastic garment covers for each shirt. It appears he does not travel as separation of the shirts insures that the fabric remains wrinkle free. However, instead of meeting our request, he charged us for the extra covers. When questioned, he said to my wife, "if you don't like it here, you could always go someplace else." It is clear at "Lack of Courtesy Cleaners" that the motto of "the customer is always right" does not apply. We live in the East Bay; the Dry Cleaners are most happy to accommodate the customer without gouging our wallets. In a petty manner, Nate appeared proud to tell my wife again that she could shop someplace else a second time. Well Nate, maybe you should work someplace else! read more
