Second night - bartender in picture stopped serving me at 1am for "last call" but was still serving other people???? In addition, they add an automatic 20% gratuity if your tab is over $80. Which is fine bc I would have tipped 25% lol. Luckily - all the people we met there were awesome. Good vibes from TX people! Would definitely go again lol.

It was a Thursday night and as our line of Ubers arrived the exterior lights were not illuminated and concern it was closed! Alas it was open but empty save for a card game going on in the giant unused bar. In the dining area we sat in separate booths. Most of the menu is out of stock. The fried chicken sandwich is 2 Sysco chicken fingers on a strohman roll. The server busted her a$$ to handle a crowd that the restaurant/bar was ill suited to do.

Went to order some shots and was told by the bartender she was busy and that she would bring them out when she got to it. Still was ok with everything at this point even though there were only like 12 people in the entire place. Then the shots never showed up and it felt as if she was purposely ignoring all attempts at contact. Ended up leaving and found somewhere else that would serve us and had a great now so maybe it was a blessing in disguise.

I'm giving this place 4 stars because it's the perfect explanation of a hole in the wall bar…read more That's not an insult I promise, I love a good ole hole in the wall bar that is comfortable and laid back. The bartender was very attentive to us even while she was busy running the bar alone, she even brought us some drinks while we were playing a game of pool(I won). The dj Charlie I believe is his name, was extra friendly as he asked us for a song request...I told him to play something by randy Travis and to my amazement he didn't gawk at me, he did however play Digging up bones which apparently everyone in the bar was also a fan of. The music wasn't too loud this time but I know when they have live performances it's way louder than I can handle. Mostly everyone was playing darts inside and nothing else was going on outside probably because it's just too damn hot for that. The biggest complaint is the parking lot, it's got some big craters or pot holes, call it what you want but just drive really slow. I don't think they have a kitchen serving food but I could be wrong. I will be back in the fall

We asked if the owner knew we were being denied entry and we were told that the owner was the one denying the entry. We were told he could see us on the cameras and wanted us to leave. Texas law are clear on this and this establishment is breaking the law. Picture of the service dog has been added to this review. Not aggressive and over 10k in training.

I usually don't write Yelp reviews, but after having visited this establishment due to lack of…read moreother bar's nearby, and then noticed it had no reviews, I figured I should do the community a favor. I'm thinking the reason it doesn't have any reviews is that patrons who would have/could have otherwise written one, didn't make it out and are still probably missing to this day. There seems to be a small group of regulars who describe themselves "like cheers". They are actually nice enough, if you don't pay attention to their jokes about you never being able to leave. Or asking me if my girlfriend was actually my girlfriend/wife/or a hooker. Our bartender asked for our ID's, then proceeded to blankly stare at them for maybe 2 minute before stating "I'm not familiar with these" and handed them to one of the regulars to check. He then handed them to another regular, this one stared at them for another 2 minute before determining we were in fact born 21+ years prior to the current date. We were then able to order our beers, they had a fine selection of Budweiser, Bud Lite, Corona, Michelob, and Miller lite sitting in an open cooler on top of the bar. We chose Corona's, she placed them in front of us and stared at us with an opener raised like a weapon for 45 seconds before saying "it's cash only". We produced cash. At this point we decided it was prudent to order our Uber back to the hotel and try to deflect any questions about our lives for the fateful 7 minutes it took our salvation(Eduardo) to arrive. We got into the Uber and he legitimately seemed surprised to see living people to emerge from this bar. He then warned us not to ever leave our hotels in North Houston again. So it earns a 1/5 stars only because 0 isn't an option. I was never a cheers fan anyways.
