County Line Prime is no longer in business. It's now called County Line "Tacos"......we didn't try it as we wanted steak.

This was our first time trying The Shed. I got the teriyaki chicken bowl, I asked my waitress what…read morevegetables were in the bowl. She told me broccoli carrots and cauliflower. I was surprised because normally there's mainly vegetables I'm allergic too. So I was excited to hear I could eat this. When I got my food there was zucchini and squash as well as the other vegetables she said. I probably should have mentioned I was allergic to certain veg that's why I was asking but she said they weren't in there and I didn't wanna talk too much. She was great I'm not blaming her it's just something to know. But I did pick them out I ate the food I was 6/10 but it did end up leaving me sick so I assume it was all cooked together. My boyfriend got the backed potato with pulled pork, it was very cold. And didn't have much flavor. He was not happy at all!

Everything was pretty pricy in my mind. I ordered the all American burger without cheese ( charged me the same price as with cheese). It came on a nice bun with lettuce, onion, tomato and mustard along with a side of fries. Burger was cooked good but could have used a little seasoning. The fries were ok. Wife ordered the chicken breast sandwich on a ciabatta bun with fries. Again it could have used a little salt but was a really nice sized portion and very crispy. It came with fries as well. Ordered an app. They gave a special. You can order two apps and get a half order of each mixed on a plate which we did. We got the breaded fried mushrooms(very nice size and breaded great). The dill pickles were sliced length wise and breaded. Great flavor just a touch salty. It's a country atmosphere with country music playing. They have a full bar but it is partitioned off from the rest of the place. Large big screen TVs with sports programming. Our server was very nice and checked on us often.

I love that all of their beef comes straight from the owner's farm, it really showed in the quality of our meals. The fajita quesadilla special with chips and queso was absolutely delicious and a huge portion, I even had leftovers for supper! My friend ordered the burger special with fries and said it was just as great. We'll definitely be back, we are wanting to try their supper! I have heard the chicken fried steak is the best, we have to find out!

It's a nice small diner vibe, not overly modern, but also not dated. They run a lot of specials. My girlfriend got their Steak sandwich, and I got the Chicken and Waffle fries. For the price the food was amazing. Maybe the best steak sandwich I've ever had. The chicken was good, nothing life changing but the waffle fries? I've never had fries like that before in my life and they were so delicious. Me and my girlfriend decided before we even finished our meal that we are gonna come back once a month and try everything over time. Oh also like 10 cops were eating there, so if the towns police force chose to eat there, that also must mean it's pretty good.

I'm always searching for that hidden gem -- the kind of place you only hear about through the…read moregrapevine. Ken's Steak & Ribs in Amber, OK is exactly that place. From Oklahoma City it's less than an hour drive, and before long you know you've left city life behind. As the old saying goes, never judge a book by its cover -- and the same applies here. From the outside the building is pretty modest, but once you step inside you immediately get that cozy, homey feeling. Another unique feature: the restaurant is only open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 4:30-9:00 PM, and there are no menus. Your server simply tells you the options: * 8 oz or 12 oz Sirloin * Prime Rib * Rib Dinner * Chicken * Smoked Sausage * Salad Bar * Baked Potato, Sweet Potato, or Fries In my opinion, this is a classic approach -- keep the menu simple so the food and experience can shine. Based on reviews I had read on Facebook and Yelp, the advice was to arrive early or expect a line. Since this was our 20th anniversary dinner, we arrived about 30 minutes before opening and waited comfortably in the parking lot. Good move -- we were seated right when the doors opened at 4:30. The atmosphere inside is dimly lit and quaint, giving it a relaxed small-town steakhouse vibe. Our server Virginia greeted us quickly, took our drink order, and we both ordered the 12 oz sirloin with baked potatoes. The salad bar is simple but well done. One detail I loved: refrigerated salad plates -- in my opinion that's the only proper way to serve a side salad. The offerings included iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, onions, shredded carrots, cucumbers, chives, croutons, and dressings like blue cheese, French/Catalina, and ranch. They also offer fried okra and pinto beans, which adds a nice Oklahoma touch. Instead of rolls, each diner receives a barbecue rib to start the meal -- now that's a unique and delicious idea. Our steaks arrived shortly after. I ordered mine medium rare, my wife went with medium rare plus, and both were excellent. The first bite had that unmistakable mesquite flavor, and the seasoning was spot on. Honestly, we probably didn't need the 12 oz steaks -- neither of us finished them. Could I have? Sure. But why be miserable? The meal was outstanding and exactly what we were hoping for on a special night. The only small disappointment was that there are no dessert options, but that's hardly a deal breaker. Final thoughts: Ken's Steak & Ribs is absolutely worth the trip. It takes a little planning because of their limited hours, but if you're looking for a classic Oklahoma steakhouse experience, this place delivers. We'll definitely be back.

They open at 4:30 and there were just a few tables left. The venue is in an old vintage building so common across small town Oklahoma. It's definitely casual with a very relaxed atmosphere. There is no menu and the offerings are limited: prime rib, sirloin steak and ribs. There is a wonderful salad bar. The salad is cold, as are the plates. On the salad bar is fried Okra and brown beans. They also offer a complimentary rib for each diner. The rib was very good. I ordered the sirloin. It was cooked to order and was flavorful. Sirloin is not a cut I would order if given options. Wish they had filet, T-bone and ribeye on the menu. Jan ordered the prime rib. It was nice and she enjoyed it. Texas Toast is served with the meal. It was nice to do something different. We enjoyed the meal. The hospitality was exceptional. The service very good. The prices are moderate. They do not serve alcoholic beverages.
