I felt judged by multiple staff members, because my ID wouldn't scan. They treated me like I had a fake ID or something which was pretty funny because I provided my insurance as well and they still had to talk their manager into "letting" me take a test drive. Safe to say, I won't be buying a car from this location or company anytime this century.

I came one evening after just making an appointment maybe thirty minutes beforehand, and I was connected with Raphael. There were two cars that I was interested in, and while one of them wasn't available at the time, I was able to look at the other car I was interested in; the other was at another Enterprise location and not on site at the time. I would have liked an offer to test drive the car I saw, but I acknowledge I arrived here about fifteen minutes before the place closed, which is a little late perhaps. Raphael is a great conversationalist, and after the we met he followed up with me and even let me know when the other car I was interested in was available for viewing/test driving. I will say that he's not the best at remembering our conversations since he called me back more than once after I told him I would need a while before I got back to him, but he's overall friendly and professional. At this point though I had already seen another car in the area that was more competitively priced than Enterprise's, but I'll definitely keep Enterprise in mind for future business.

Said I was early - never acknowledged that the Toyota dash could be wrong or misleading. Several other employees watched this including other advisers and no one stepped in. This turned into an escalation where he ended up telling me to take my business elsewhere. I did - within 30 minutes I got a call from the manager wanting to make things right because "we got off on the wrong foot" I didn't get off on the wrong foot - the advisor was a condescending jerk who made it all about him being right and proving himself right despite me being there for a simple oil change because the vehicle said I needed oil service. Jay Wolfe service is a miserable outfit and I cannot recommend them at all - especially if you know what you think you want or your car tells you what you want.

I found a great deal on a car at West County. A few days later, the papers were signed, temporary tags were on, and I drove away. A day later, I was pulled over because the sales guy had written the wrong date on the temporary tags and the police officer thought they were expired. I had to drive back to the car dealership, a good twenty minute drive, to get new tags. Then, about a week before my temp tags expired, I still hadn't received the title for my car. After calling several times without getting a response, my fiance drove out to the place to get some answers. We were instructed to drive the car WITH EXPIRED TAGS and mail any tickets we might receive to the dealership for payment. Seriously? Seriously. (Don't worry... I didn't take their advice.) Now, I bought this car at the beginning of August. I finally received the title at the beginning of OCTOBER, after driving back and forth, wasting time on the phone, and stressing out in general. To make up for the trouble, the place paid my late fee to the DOR for paying my sales tax late. A whopping $25. How sweet. This is the first car I've ever purchased, and I never want to go through it again. The price on the car was great, but I would gladly have paid more just to avoid dealing with the atrocious "customer service" promised at West County Auto Plaza.

I spoke with Austin Dry, who was super friendly and not at all pushy. My visit was maybe total 20 minutes over the time I was on a test drive. When I got back, Austin told me to call/text him with any questions or concerns. We had discussed too, I could send him pictures of my trade in and they could let me know an estimate of what I would get for my current car. After minimal back and forth on the price of the car, and my trade in value we came to a pretty quick agreement on Monday and I picked up my car that day! The process of signing all the paperwork was super painless, and didn't take much time at all. I'll say too, it stood out to me that I received a promise to pay for a new key as the car I was buying only came with one. In cleaning up the car for purchase, the tint on the back window was accidently torn a bit. I was written an IOU to fix the tint, and I just scheduled to drop my car off and receive a loaner while they fix it. Great experience at this dealership! Especially given a horrible experience at a different one, during my process of shopping for a new car. More dealerships should take note of how these guys do things! Thanks again Austin!

Optional products, such as an extended warranty, were not clearly presented as optional and were rolled into the payment without proper explanation. There was no clear walkthrough--just an expectation to sign. Many customers could easily miss that these add-ons significantly increase the total purchase price. I had to question the numbers multiple times to understand what I was actually being charged for. And forcefully insist they remove the warranty from the purchase price. I was also asked to sign a blank version of an incentive-related document during the process, which, when questioned, the F&I guy brushed off as "just in case he needed it for his file". This is not an appropriate business practice and should not be part of any customer transaction. After the sale, I discovered that a customer satisfaction acknowledgment had been submitted under my name with responses I did not provide, including an electronic signature that is not mine. When I raised this with management, the concern was minimized despite documentation confirming the submission. I've attempted to resolve these concerns directly with management, but the responses have been inconsistent and have not fully addressed the issues. If you're purchasing here, don't. But if you are going to I would strongly recommend reviewing every document carefully and asking detailed questions during financing.

I was met with a sales rep called Yatzek (aka "The Polish Car Guy"). When we met him, I was instantly attracted to his unique accent and likeable persona. He talked with a sort of authority that was not too forward, but rather comforting. He took his time with us, and we had good conversation about what exactly my friend was looking for and what her other options were. We got to discussing many things, all of which he knew a respectable amount of knowledge on. We compared the TSX with many of its competitors, and ended our conversation with comparing the wheelbase of the TSX with a E90 325. Our test drive was great, and though it was a great car, we had other cars to look at during the day. There was no pressure to buy on-the-spot, and the manager even came over us and gave us a free oil change voucher as well as plenty of bottled water (it was one of those 95+ degree days). We toured their facility, which was spotless, even the service area. All the mechanics looked professional, and were busy working on cars. We ended up going with the E90 325, but our interactions with the dealership did not end there. We received personal letters signed by Yatzek and the manager thanking us for our visit to their dealership, and that if we had any further questions or if we were still interested in the car, that we could contact them on a personal number. It was all very courteous, and the both of us felt very satisfied at the service we got. No wonder they were voted the best Acura dealership in America for 17 straight years. You can't beat a presentation and service such as theirs. Once you have the Dave Mugenast experience, everything thing else just fails in comparison. At the end of the day, we found a better car at a cheaper price, but that doesn't change the fact that I would go back to any Dave Mungenast dealership to scout out future prospects for cars.

I was buying a car and hoping to trade my older one in. Right away the manager came back in and said my car "wouldn't even start." Now, my car has a lot of problems but that was not one of them. He flat out lied to try and devalue my car and then offered me $100 for it. You can get that just for the battery! Absurd and insulting. The salesmen are crooks like you read about, unwilling to work with you much on price and tack on an almost $700 admin fee at the end when you're too tired to fight. Just down the street at Acura, they waived their fee for me immediately. Every lie in the book was used on me at DTEC, like I was an idiot (I look much younger than I am which was even commented on and clearly I was treated like I'm young and dumb), but I played the part because I liked the car. I was there from 11am to close. I was starving and getting dizzy. My salesman offered me a sandwich and pulled out his phone but clearly never intended to spend his precious scheckles. By the end I was so low blood sugar, I could hardly function and what did they do? They locked me in a room with Mike, the Finance Manager, who my dealer Reed boasted was "such a great guy" before I went in. Mike in no way lived up to this. In fact, he was the worst part of the entire experience. Rude, unprofessional, and uncompassionate. I told him many times I was tired, had a long day, I was hungry and not feeling well. He continued to HARD SELL me a warranty that I politely declined so many times I lost count. He just sat there and continued to crunch numbers to get his precious warranty in the bag. I finally convinced him to let me sleep on it. I asked several times if someone could provide me with a ride to pick up my car the next day, after spending nearly 30,0000 dollars!!! NOPE. TOUGH LUCK. "GET AN UBER." DISGUSTING!!! I told my Uber driver this and even he was disgusted and said he would never shop there. He was so appalled he said he was going to call them and tell them. I was a salesman when I was 16. I outsold everyone at my store and I did it by being honest, respecting my customers and caring for their needs. You will NOT find that at David Taylor. I Ubered in the next day, still tired and squeezing in between work appointments. I told them I was short on time and had to be in and out. Reed said I needed to see Mike again. I flat out told him I WAS UNCOMFORTABLE and did not want to talk about warranties, to which he callously replied, "Tell him." THEY LOCKED ME IN A ROOM WITH MIKE AGAIN WHERE HE CONTINUED TO HARD SELL ME AGAIN ANYWAY!" I politely declined again and again until I finally had to SHOUT at him and tell him to leave me alone, get my car, and get me out. I told him "You guys already took me for everything I have." He scoffed and mocked me "Pff Everything you have." Super professional, bud! I could go on but I would fire you immediately! I work in radio and know A LOT of people. I host my own show which thousands of people listen to around the world. I worked in Hollywood movies before that. Really not a bright idea to make this kind of impression on me. Just a little kindness, a little effort to make their customer happy would have gone a long way. Here's the cherry on top. The next day, I noticed damage on the car. I called Reed and he of course denied all knowledge and didn't care, passing me over to the higher ups. I called Burt and he never bothered to call me back. I'm guessing they will do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to help, as is their usual motto at this dealership. I was lucky and unfortunate enough to find the car I wanted here, but will never go back and never recommend. I had such a terrific experience at the dealer down the road and left them a great review even though I didn't buy from them. Know why? Because they treated me like a HUMAN BEING. David Taylor Ellisville only cares about one thing, GETTING YOUR MONEY.
