We contracted with Countrywide Electric through Amazon Home Services to install two exterior, motion- and light-sensing coach lights on our garage. We originally had a quote from another handy service provider through Amazon, but they pulled a bait-and-switch on us by low-balling the estimate and trying to charge us more the day before the appointment. I called Amazon, and after interviewing a couple of electrical contractors, we settled on Countrywide. I can honestly say it was a terrific experience. Suren and his team really know what they're doing! The work was professionally done, their interactions and insights were top-notch, and we couldn't be more pleased. Mr. Abrahamyan and his assistant came to my home twice to do the service. Between the first and second visit (one week), the price of installation of each electrical fixture went up $2 per fixture. After the second installation, several of the fixtures did not work. Mr. Abrahamyan has not returned texts or phone calls to repair the work, nor did he provide any information about the additional work we asked about. Mr. Abrahamyan is very personable, however, apparently, he does not honor his warranty. I cannot recommend someone who quickly changes prices and does not honor their work. read more

If there was a 6th star, that's the one I would have selected. From the first contact until the work was completed, working with Countrywide Electric was great. They installed 14 recessed lights and several pendant light fixtures. The work these guys do is very clean; not only the actual electric installation, but also they cover everything before they start and clean and vacuum each room when they are done. They left my house cleaner than it was when they arrived. We had seen many service providers before choosing Countrywide Electric, and we are glad we chose them. I've used lot of services during my remodel, and I have never seen anyone as professional as Suren. When I first called him for my project, he answered all my questions and he offered to come out to my house for a free estimate. On the first visit he showed up on time and called to let me know he was on his way. Then when he showed up he looked at everything I needed done and explained everything in detail. Within 24 hours he gave me the estimate and once I gave him the green light he was able to accommodate the date that I needed. On the day of the actual project again he called in advance and showed up on time. They covered the entire work area and did an excellent job with installing my new lights. Once they were done, Suren and his assistant cleaned up the entire area. Suren made great suggestions on how I can change some of my lights to make them energy efficient which I will be do shortly after my painters are done. Professional - 5 Service - 5 Communication - 5 Suren made it very clear he was a professional. He arrived in his contractors shirt with the state license number clearly printed. He was well put together and clean. At every step of the installation he let me know what to expect and when. If they had to turn off the power from the circuit breaker he let me know I should save my computer work as the internet and power would go off in my office. He let me know what he was putting in, the weight rating for the circuit box for the ceiling fan, and how everything was grounded. When there was a missing screw with my fan, he diligently let me know the installation would not be completed until it was done correctly. He found a proper screw and there was no extra charge. He worked knowing that his good name was on the line. He let me know the vetting process and the background check that he went through to be able to join Amazon services and even though I needed more work than expected he did not increase the price at all. Before he started he cleared out the area where he was going to put his latter, put down a heavy protective cloth, and made sure nothing was going to be marred or scratched. Every screw that was put in was tightened to the rating for the screw (Torque rated). Suren made sure I knew exactly the time he would arrive within the window. This allowed me to have the freedom run a couple of errands. There was not one aspect of the job that was mysterious to me. He clearly communicated if there was the slightest issue after completion that he would fix it. read more

Great company, amazing customer service, highly recommend. Suren was prompt, professional and could not have been nicer. In addition to installing a new fan in the bedroom, I asked him to take a look at a broken switch in the bathroom. He quickly replaced the switch and I assumed that he would charge us few dollars on top of the installation fee, but he said it was not a big deal and waived the fee. The reason for this review isn't because I saved a few dollars or got something for free, it's because in this day and age of declining customer service it's a breath of fresh air when you come across a company or a person that truly cares about their customers. Worst service ever. I hired them through amazon to install a lighting. They said the price $146 was for under 10ft. My ceiling was 14ft, so for an additional 4 ft. they asked me $350.
