We have a bunch of family that lives close but decided to book a room since we would be in Canton. Plus, I wanted to see some of the local sites. Checkin is at 4pm but was able to get in a bit early at 3pm. We were warmly greeted with a little gift bag of water and the famous double tree cookies. The hotel was recently renovated and they did an excellent job. It looks great. As a Diamond member, we lucked into a complementary Hilton Honors upgrade to a King Suite! I absolutely love when that happens and really appreciate it. The room was amazing. Comfy bed and plenty of space with the main room, the bedroom, and the bathroom. I really liked that the bathroom had that separate private toilet. If you have the Hilton Honors app you have TV controls built in. The room had a full size ironing board, two HD flatscreens, and a mini fridge. The hotel has an excellent fitness center and an indoor pool. We even worked in some indoor pool time this cold snowy December. I would absolutely stay here again. Only downside was the bedroom thermostat was offline and it was a bit cold (but the living room still worked, and oh there no hot tub. It looked like they made it a planter). We opted for the parking garage for a $8 fee which was so reasonable. Morning coffee is offered in the lobby and good food in the hotel restaurant. Definitely leaving 5 stars for quality and staff!

We were the only guests this past weekend. It is on a nice, quiet residential street and we parked on the street in front. Louie was very hospitable and friendly, explaining everything we needed to know about staying in his house. There are also a lot of informational notices about the house rules around, such as what is included in breakfast and tips. The house is very cozy and clean; our bed was comfortable. The bathroom very clean as well. There is also a half-bath on the main floor. He has some high-end perks, including a Dyson fan in our bedroom that I appreciated as I normally sleep with a fan on. The lamp has charging outlets. Breakfast is DIY, offering hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, juice, bread for toast, granola, oatmeal, bananas, and granola bar-type snacks. The coffee station has a fancy coffee maker with several coffee packet selections for an extra fee of $2 and up. He has Chobani creamer in the fridge (yum). There are also cold drinks in a glass-front cooler for extra charges, and you can use Venmo or cash. I bought a bottle of Norka root beer (Akron spelled backwards) to take home. We did not use the hot tub in the backyard, but there is an extra charge to use. It is large enough for multiple people. He has a seating area on the back patio as well. Mercy showed us to the garage where we stowed our bicycles. We had been traveling on the Ohio to Erie Trail and this was quite the destination. A mansion with splendor and charm. The whole place exudes a loving care and is just out of this world loaded with charm. When you stay here, try to book the "Master Suite". Plumbing and lighting is all in perfect working order. You get plenty of personal space and access to several common areas. Free wifi was pretty fast. There were complimentary beverages, snacks, cookies, chocolates (CHOCOLATES!), and breakfast made to order. Wooster is small, charming, yet pretty hip town. There are several good places to eat within walking distance and the locals are were happy to show me around. This was in winter, probably the dead season, but I really enjoyed my stay. When you include the amenities, the stay greatly exceeded expectations when it comes to value. Highly recommend staying here and I'd return in a heart-beat!

This past weekend was perfect weather wise. Upper 70's with 60's at night. The only negative with that was it was almost too cold to swim. The water in the pool was freezing cold. We tried to stay in as long as we could but it was sharp. The big slide wasn't working properly so that was kind of a bummer. Great all around staff. You have a special thing with Ranger Dan. He's a great worker, great customer service and always driving around saying hello and checking in. Saw him numerous times and each time was always a friendly gesture and conversation. Kept us up to date with the activities, along with the piece of paper. Putt putt was a great clean course. Kind of challenging. Didn't use majority of the playground amenities but they have a ton and it's in a great big area. The ice cream stand had Hershey's ice cream and UNBELIEVABLE Root Beer. The pizza we tried was pretty good as well. The bathrooms were cleaned daily and nice. The only negatives I could give besides cold pool ( nothing to do about that ) is the water is Well water so it had the sulphur smell so brushing and showering had an odor. The activities were plentiful, always had a big calendar or events and theme weekends. The activities they had planned just seemed lackluster and rushed. Younger staff doing many of the skits, seemed half assed and rushed it not a ton of thought into the activity. We never really saw any of the Bears walking around but we would hear that they were out and about. We raised our family at Jellystone so this will always have a symbolic and nostalgic feel. They literally would make things better by saying we need to bring clear bags so they can make sure we aren't bringing in glass or alcohol. I appreciate the rules but I'm an adult and I don't need some 16 year old ruining everything I packed. Secondly they got rid of the obstacle course in lieu of a diving board. The pool itself needs some repair. The way the bottom is, it makes the water look dirty. The water actually was full of bugs and leaves. The pool is small for 19.00 per person. It's a fine place to cool off but overall it has changed to only accommodate young children and older teens will more than likely not be impressed.
