I feel like I should update my review after having stayed here on four separate visits in 2025. I can't say enough good things about the staff. Every person I encountered was kind and helpful. When I needed to extend my stay by a night while there for a family emergency, they made the process easy and painless during a time when everything else felt daunting or complicated. They even ensured I got the same room rate despite having to change room types. Kimberlie recognized me from a previous visit on my recent stay and stopped by my table during breakfast to say hello. Despite being in Canton for challenging reasons, the staff here have continued to make the SpringHill Suites a comfortable, easy part of my stays. As of December 2025, the hotel is undergoing renovations or updates, but they've minimized disruption by strategically using rooms away from the current work. read more

No regrets picking this hotel for my work trip! This SpringHill location met my expectations comparing to other SpringHill Suites that I have stayed at. Upon entering the hotel, lobby area and breakfast area are clean and neat. My room was in good condition. The bathroom door was a bit hard to open and close but I didn't have any other issues. Breakfast selection was the standard and fresh. I had a rental car and this location was drivable to many restaurants and shopping areas nearby. But please note there's no sidewalks on some of the nearby streets so if you are planning to walk, this is not a good location for that even though on the map things look very walkable. read more

I stay in a lot of hotels. A LOT! Some good . . . and some not so good. So imagine my delight when getting to Canton and knowing I was going to stay in a Springhill Suites that this hotel was clean, updated and even smelled clean! I was warmly greeted by the woman at the front desk and given the keys to my upgraded room. As I pulled open the door, I could actually smell how clean the room was and given the hotel I had stayed at the night before was a disaster, it was greatly appreciated! The bathroom was large and well stocked with toiletries. The bed was big and comfortable. The desk had plenty of outlets for me to charge my electronics with good lighting for when I worked. And the coffee machine was a Keurig with plenty of pods for me. And after a good nights' sleep, there was a complimentary breakfast served down in the dining area. And all this for a great price! Next time I'm in Canton, you can bet I'll be returning! read more

This hotel was difficult to locate due to some odd back roads to get here. From the outside it looks better on the photos than in person. We were greeted nicely and provided the information that we needed. The have a small pantry area that has snacks, beer, wine and even whiskey, with some other options of necessary items when staying a night. Our room was nice as it had two queen beds, and couch and tv in the other room. I actually slept on the couch and it was comfortable believe it or not. They have a nice breakfast spread in the morning. Most places, you can make your waffles alone but here someone does it for you. Which I do not mind at all. It's ok clean. But that does not make up for stupid policies and terrible slow service!!! Checked in 01/ 10, that took FORTY FIVE minutes!!! The guy before me booked 3 rooms and none of his credit cards would go through, the desk attendant just froze and kept calling the manager, of course he was the only working the check in counter. I stayed here tonight 1/15 (previously booked) and ordered food for delivery only to find out this (hotel's) policy is I must pick up in the lobby. If I wanted to leave my room I would of went and got it myself. Clueless management that focuses on making policies instead of providing decent service. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! read more

My favourite hotel was booked, after reading the reviews I decided why not! I'm a diamond member with another brand, but that loyalty is tested with this location! I travel alot for work, and this will be my new go to in town! From checkin to checkout it's been a wonderful experience. Sharod at the front desk greated me warmly and answered all my questions he was amazing! Great customer service is rare these days I hope they hold on to him!! I love the room layout! The bathroom is perfect, the closet was huge! The beds are comfortable as were the pillows. I like the separate desk area, i can work and not disturb my husband. The only negative is the sofa is not comfortable., not sure how it'd be as a extra bed but to watch TV you're better off in bed. Well done Marriot! read more

We have stayed here twice now at this location and cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was last month. The hotel itself is very typical for the Marriott Springhill suites line. It was modern and very clean inside. There was breakfast in the morning and everyone partaking appeared taken care of very well by the staff. I want to give an extra shoutout and kudos to the hotel keep/ front desk staff, Kimberly. She was the MOST welcoming and engaged customer service worker I've ever encountered. She worked the entire length of our stay and made everyone who came to her feel absolutely special and appreciated. It was very apparent she was enjoying her work and it wasn't just a job to her. I stay here sometimes when I'm in town for work. The location is good, close to the airport, highway and many restaurants. The staff is always polite but some will keep you waiting in person while they book a reservation on the phone. I think thats weird but not a big deal. The rooms are big, the bathrooms are nice and there is a little office area. The beds are pretty comfortable. I will say the heat in the rooms makes it very dry so that isn't ideal. Also the hotel does not have room service and it seems like the only thing in the area that delivers is pizza, so plan accordingly. They have bfast in the morning which is nice but I'm not sure if that is only for Platinum members or everyone. Overall a sufficient place to stay. No frills but its very clean! read more

This place is exactly what your hope it would be. Admittedly it's not the Carlyle or the Plaza. But it's totally clean, very friendly, and has a better breakfast than I'd expect at this level of hotel. Stayed in room 401. This is an excellent addition to the Marriott family. This is a new property with updated features - USB charging in room, electric vehicle charging station in the parking lot, easy room entry, nice bathrooms. I've stayed twice, and will return. There is room for improvement at the front desk, the staff is a little stiff and could benefit from some real hospitality training. If the staff improved this would be a 5 star review. read more

The travesty that was SpringHill suites. We booked our stay through booking.com and went on our way to the hotel. When we got there they had us booked for a week later. We showed our confirmation number and booking date which was right on our end. The lady then told us we can't get a room unless we call booking.com. So we did. They had it set on their side and couldn't figure out what was wrong. Finally after hours of back and forth we got our room. Next phase of fun times ahead. I understand this is during the corona epidemic but that doesn't mean the rooms can be this bad. The bathroom had pubes and bugs in it. The power outlets where sparking and shutting things off. With the tv you can not use a Firestick or gaming system in these rooms unless you disconnect the box that they control from the front desk that is attached to the rear of the tv. We where told we couldn't use it at all but I got it working. You have to unplug the phone chord going into the tv then direct plug in your hdmi. Plus the tv is in the small sitting area and not in front of the bed. We moved the furniture to suit us and finally could watch tv from the bed. There is nowhere to eat in the room other than two small side tables pushed together. Definitely not like any suite I've been in. Now for the staff. They are completely lacking in the customer service department. No one sits at the front desk to check you in. Be prepared to wait for 10-20 minutes for anything then be given an attitude if they have to do their jobs.They constantly sit out front and smoke cigarettes. Asking for anything is like pulling teeth. We couldn't get toilet paper when we needed it. Couldn't get forks cups or paper plates without an attitude. My wife asked for yogurt which they said they complimentary give you in the mornings and was given one gogurt. The door in and out of the rooms is so loud it will wake you up if the neighbor 4 doors down opens his. They don't ever empty the trash cans outside of the hotel. This hotel won't last. It's new to this city but it's being treated like a playground. Beware! read more

Beautiful place to stay. Indoor pool and nice breakfast. The hotel was immaculate and the staff was simply amazing when it came to getting my children to the room and out of the rain. The housekeeper stayed after she clocked out to make sure we got the pack and plays set up in the room. The room was beautiful with a large bathroom and sitting area. Truly a gem for the price! This was my first time staying at this location and I was pleased with my choice. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the rooms clean, the bed comfortable and the location near many attractions. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. There was a good selection and the food was better prepared than what you typically find at a hotel breakfast. My only criticism is the the building/rooms do not insulate the outdoor noise so it is disturbing if you are in a front facing room. The hotel is extremely clean and the room was more then spacious for a family of 5. The breakfast selection was quite large as well. The staff is what really made our one night stay with 3 kids under 5 amazing. They were so pleasant and accommodating. We've stayed at this particular hotel probably 6-8 times as a family (my husband, myself, and our 2 small kids), and it never ceases to impress us. We've had minor hiccups with rooms, but all were immediately remedied. The hotel has one of the best breakfasts we've had at a hotel- especially the oatmeal- I have NO idea why it's so good, but it is. We've stayed at dozens of other SpringHill and Marriott properties, but non compare. Great location, amazing service, friendly employees, good amenities, wonderful location... all of it! We stayed this past week while in town for a funeral, and Monica (?) went OVER and beyond- she was incredibly kind and gracious, particularly to our kids. Loved staying at this hotel! Kim was an amazing receptionist, the life of the party really. Her friendly demeanor had all guests feeling good about their stay. The fruit infused ice water and home-made cookies were a plus! Always coffee available too-- We were so sad to miss breakfast every morning because when the cooks cleaned up after 10am, there were so many options! Very nice accommodations. Rooms are very clean. Only downfall is your rooms are not cleaned early. We left this morning at 10:00 am and returned around 1:45pm. Room not done. Sat out on patio for about 2 hours and room is still not cleaned . We wanted to have visitors over and now we have no idea as to when our room will be cleaned. Just beware- if you are remaining a night it appears your rooms are last to be cleaned. This is the second day in a row this has happened. read more

My mother, sister and I stayed at this hotel for a 3 day weekend to attend a bridal shower for my niece. I can't say enough about this hotel. Great location. Very well maintained clean.
