Stayed here a few weeks ago. been waiting to post as the stay was weird. The check in was beyond easy. Was able to do it from my phone in route to hotel. That was a huge plus. Keys were digital so I didnt even need to stop by the desk. However, the room was weird. The bathroom had not been cleaned. There was an actual line of dirt that was clearly visible under the sink. The toilet area had some kind of residue on the floor. Basically the entire tile floor had not been actually cleaned. The bed was also not done. The box spring cover was askew exposing nearly 60% of the box spring. The flat sheet wasnt attached properly to the top area of the bed so I could see the mattress. Then when I got in the bed I noticed the sheet was way down at the bottom so I am fairly sure that the sheets really hadn't been changed. Yuck. Now all of this was easily fixed. I contacted the front desk and they came up... cleaned the floor. Fixed the bed. Still... that should not have happened. It should have been ready prior to check in. The breakfast however was perfect. I usually dislike hotel breakfasts and wont eat them. This one was great. Clean. Well staffed. They oddly had the best tiny make your own waffles. The eggs were really good. Lots of fruit. Honest it was perfect. Lots to choose from. Would I stay there again? Not sure. I really feel my room wasnt cleaned and the housecleaning sta hoped i wouldnt notice. Lol. read more

Well this is a first and last at a Hampton inn Suites. We stayed at the Hampton Inn Suites in Canton, Ohio on Broadmoor Circle. We usually only stay in Home2 Suites bc of the full kitchen in every room, pool, beautiful and fully equipped gym, not to mention always clean and a helpful staff. However, we stayed at this Hampton Inn bc the Sign out front said home 2 Suites. The room prices change daily, although we booked for a week due to work. They never locked in any prices, discounts nothings. The rooms were dirty, poor customer service, trashy pool. Its ran like an apartment complex. Absolutely disgusting and will never return! We travel to every single state in our country and never have we had a bad experience at a home2 suites. Hampton Inn is a joke! Do better and stop raping the customers! read more

The view from my window was incredible. I spent hours watching traffic go down I-77. The hair dry was capable of drying much more than hair. The lemon water in the lobby was fantastic. Don't tell the staff, but I filled up an entire gallon of it to-go. I even grabbed a few lemons out of the pitcher. Sometimes you get lost in the shuffle, just like a Zeerocks paper jam, but this hotel made me feel like I was right where I belonged. I rate the Canton, Ohio Hampton Inn & Suites five stars. read more

This Hampton Inn is ready for a remodel. While the room was clean, the decor is outdated and tired (I stayed in room 502). The hotel is off the main road with a few other hotels so there's no loud street noise. Breakfast had the usual choices and I went for the make-your-own-waffle. I love that they have vanilla and a second, seasonal flavor to choose from. Since I used the app to check in and choose my room, I didn't interact with the front desk until the next day when I checked out. The woman at the desk was very personable. I hope they consider updating the rooms - I would stay here again. read more

Mind mumbling experience .Spent most of the weekend exercising on the bedside glad they give you plenty of towels...

The front desk staff was very kind and switched my room immediately when the room smelt like smoke but I was not impressed with this Hampton Inn unfortunately. The rooms were pretty dingy. The bed was clean but there were stains all over the walls. Only one outlet worked next to my bed and the lamp next to it wouldn't work. The outlets were also not functioning in the bathrooms which was aggravating. The hotel had a lot of parking and was close to shopping centers which is why I am giving this a two star review. I also hated that the do not disturb sign had a tie on one side and a necklace on the other indicating if there was a man or women in the room. Traveling alone this made me extremely uncomfortable to show that there was a female in the room. read more

The guest service here was amazing! I made a mistake when I booked online and picked the wrong day as my check in date. After missing the reservation I was charged for the room. I noticed it on my card so I called the hotel. She figured out what I had done wrong and got me rebooked for the correct night and applied a room credit for what I already paid. It was my silly mistake, but she went beyond and helped me fix it! We stayed here with our daughter for one night. We got the king room with the pull out couch. The room was large, and had plenty of amenities. It was a comfortable night and we enjoyed our stay. On the way out we sat in the lobby and had coffee. No cookies :( but a wonderful gentleman and the woman at the front desk had a great conversation with us. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Great service. read more

the first room we had was 404. It smelled like weed, had cigarette burns through all of the blankets and sheets, the mattress and box spring were filthy, there was dirty lingerie between the mattress and box spring of the one bed, there was a dirty needle in the same place on the other bed. Went and talked to the staff and they really didn't seem to care, but they gave us a 2nd room, 408. The door didn't want to open at first, it smelled AWFUL as soon as we opened the door, the end table was flipped upside down on the one bed, the curtains were falling down, semen on the tv and wall, and there was mold all around the bathroom and base boards. For both rooms the ceilings were falling apart and the paint was peeling and falling off the walls. There was lord of sketchy things happening with people there. 0/10 from us and by far the WORST experience we've ever had. read more

I have nothing bad to say about the Hampton Inn in Canton, but I'm saving that fifth star for 'above and beyond.' We thought we stayed here a year ago, so wanted to stay at the same place again. It turns out we stayed somewhere else a year ago, but when hubby was booking the room for us, this was $50/night cheaper than the other local hotels. So we're Hampton fans now! The kids love staying anywhere with a pool, so they were easily entertained. And this was less than 10 minutes from our event at Walsh University. The continental breakfast each morning was nice, and my daughter especially appreciated the whipped cream and sprinkles for her waffle. Next year maybe we can actually make it two years in a row at the same place. read more

Stayed in Dec 22. 32 degrees outside and the AC was on in the room. A rather unpleasant chilly reception. Turned on the heat and it did heat up fairly quickly. There was a dead insect - an aphid like bug - on the window sill. If that was not bad enough - a live one landed on my sleeve when I closed the curtains. EEK! The room has seen some wear and tear and was reasonably clean... except for a corner in the bathroom above the door that was positively black. Lots of channels on their cable TV. The coffee was meh. The breakfast was the usual. The water dispenser holder was grossly dirty really needs to be cleaned - regularly wiped down. When I mentioned the dead bug at check out - the desk clerk seemed to make a note of it and regretted that happened but no compensation. Guess I needed to have asked for that. read more

This hotel was in a safe and quiet neighborhood that was a very short drive from shopping and restaurants, the building was in good condition, and the price was low (and included a free breakfast, which we unfortunately skipped). Our room was clean and had a comfortable bed, but the shower head did not work properly, a coffee machine was oddly located in the bathroom, and the iron left brown stains on my shirt. read more

They saved us from the hotel from hell. The Wingate / Wyndham Ramada. We had two different rooms due to us switching hotels quickly and they were mostly booked. But both hampton rooms were large, clean, and modern. Pool was clean and amazing, hot tub was hot and functional (like they should be, don't know why so many hotels have broken hot tubs). The laundry room worked out great. Breakfast was outstanding. and the staff were kind and helpful. Honestly, they turned our nightmare trip for the family into a saved situation. If we come to Canton, that's where we're going. read more

We stayed here a few weeks ago. The breakfast bar is always a great plus with Hampton Inn. Our room was okay, but at times, you could hear the neighbors through the wall. Overall the actual stay itself was pretty pleasant, as was the front desk staff. Otherwise I would be giving this place a 1. The reason for the low rating is the customer service we received from one of the the managers about the booking of our room. Let me tell you, she was a piece of work. I booked my stay for our August trip in May, with an employee discount the company I work for offers. So about 4 MONTHS in advance I have this room booked. The very week before we're about to leave for our trip (from Wisconsin, mind you) I get a sketchy voice message from an unidentified person saying I need to call Hampton Inn Canton about an issue with my reservation, and if they don't hear from me by Friday they're cancelling it. Well you can imagine my confusion. The first time we called, the girl at the front desk was totally clueless and said there was no way they (the staff) could cancel our reservation. She makes it seem like everything's hunky dory. Good thing we called again and got ahold of the actual manager who left the voice message, Amanda. She basically said I could no longer have the rate I originally booked because the employee policy changed in July. You would think since I made the booking in MAY they would honor it, right? Wrong. She was VERY rude and unhelpful in what we could do to change the situation and talked down to me like I was stupid. Luckily for me, my company is awesome and was able to sort out my end of things. If you're ever staying in Canton, and have a coupon or special rate you want to use, you better skip this place. Unless you like being treated horribly by upper management. read more

I've stayed here twice - one when I was interviewing for my job, and the second time for nine days while I was moving to Canton for that same job. I've stayed in a decent amount of Hamptons, and I would say this one is definitely better than average. The staff is friendly, breakfast is great, and their fitness room is adequate. Even though I was there for over a week, I really had no complaints and was almost sad when I moved into my apartment - no more hot breakfasts and freshly made beds? For those who are interested, it seems like they cycle their egg dish every three days - scrambled, cheese omelette, meat omelette. Wifi is free for guests and pretty good - you do have to re-log-in every 24 hours, which can be a little annoying, but this is pretty standard at Hamptons. The Hampton is in an area with several other hotels, but if you're trying to decide between them, I'd choose them hands down. Just make sure you get your HHonor points for your stay! In Canton Ohio to visit the Football Hall of Fame and being big fans of Hampton Inn's my wife made reservations here. What a great hotel, the room was huge and very clean. The staff was very helpful and they were taking shots at my Ravens shirt I had on but all in good fun. My daughter loved the Mrs Fields free cookies they had at the front desk. The free breakfast of course was great like they usually are at Hampton Inns as well as the coffee which was still nice and hot even later in the evening. Great experience, I'm sure we will be at the Hall of Fame again and we will be staying here. read more

I'm a HH Silver member and stay almost exclusively at Hampton's for work (about 30 nights a years.) This is much like a lot of Hampton's. Friendly staff, great fitness area and amazing breakfast. All Hampton's are setup similarly in the rooms. This one appears to have been an older building that may have been remodeled. Not an issue for me. The only qualm I had was it was a little noisy and my mini fridge was rather loud. Also, the bed was not as comfy as I'm use too. The location worked great for me right off of 77, but there are no restaurants within walking distance. The staff was really great here and made EXCELLENT suggestions for food. read more

Everything was good. The rooms were clean and fully stocked. Seems to be a fairly new hotel. Breakfast was good as well, really I have no complaints. I ended up needing nail clippers while there and was a bit surprised they didn't have any in the shop, but none of the other local hotels did either. Would be a nice thing to have in the shop for travelers though. read more

Great hotel, clean rooms friendly staff, breakfast is as good as can be expected. My only complaint is that the fitness room is just cardio, and they don't partner with any nearby gyms to offer better fitness equipment, but it's not a big deal. Definitely recommended. read more

This is one of the nicer Hampton Inn's. First, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Second, they leave out a pitcher of fruity water. A lot of Hampton Inn's have been getting rid of that and it always makes me happy when a hotel has that. Finally the room was very nice and had the awesome Suite Dream beds from Serta. The staff is rude and ghetto. I witness a housekeeper being bullied by another housekeeper. I stayed there for 5 days and nobody changed my sheets or swept my floor when called front desk they where rude and said leave a note next time! And under the pillow cases have blood stains on them... I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone I would give no stars if I could read more

Stayed here with my son to attend a Nike Camp close by in Massilon. Extremely well polished staff (at least those I interacted with). Beds are nice and comfy. Room was very clean. They do have smaller tv's but it suits the room. You can never go wrong with complimentary breakfast and free wifi. read more

I wish I could find SOMETHING to criticize about, except maybe my preconceived notion about this brand - Hampton Inn. As a frequent traveler for work, I'm constantly placed in substandard hotels, and the list is long. I could swear Hampton Inn was among them, but as of today, I'm a convert. Granted, this property was fairly new, but the rooms were larger than expected, smelled new, was modernly appointed, had a very comfortable bed, modern bathroom (large walk-in shower but no bath tub) and - OMG - was spotless! If you didn't read the name over the entrance, you could have thought you were in a much higher priced hotel. THIS Hampton is highly recommended. Did I mention they had the usual free breakfast (nothing special, but not bad either.) read more

I've stayed in a suite a few Hamptons and this hotel left much to be desired. Front desk was friendly. Room was clean. The walls were very thin and you could hear the rooms beside and above. Hard to sleep with the sounds of people walking around and banging doors. The curtains were see through with no full curtain to close. Not a great experience. read more
