During the summer they have a 3 nights for the price of 2 deal during the week. The park was quiet on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. I know the water park can get very busy on weekends, especially when it's hot. They have safety in mind with all the rules they have. The campsites are spacious and the campground is beautifully kept. Grass mowed, not a speck of trash any place. While we were there, a worker was filling in where someone had backed onto the grass instead of the pad, and had made a huge gouge. Most sites are water/electric, but they have many full hookups too. They have expanded to a total of 75 sites. Great place for families, and close to all the Amish Country attractions.

Nice staff. Very organized. They have a well stocked store with some good snacks too. For anyone wanting to attend church there is a non denominational Christian church on the property. Play areas for the kids with nice equipment. Putting greens. They sell LP. They have a dog wash. This place is in the top few percent of RV resorts. We have stayed all over the US and can't name but a few that are equal. If you want to stay nearby, definitely check this out.

Tip: You can not place rugs on the grass- each site is paved so there really is not a need for one. Note: Restaurants, grocery stores and local attractions are not open on Sunday. Once inside we were happy to see a welcoming decor and it was immaculately clean. Our tour found a journal of past guest experiences. I sat and read many of them. Several guest were there for the same reason we were, to escape from the stressors of life and relax. We found ourselves laughing at us, city people, trying to remember how to build a campfire without starter logs. We could have been our own comedy sketch. But, we did get enough of a fire to make s'mores and enjoy our own company. Between sitting on the porch rocking, drinking wine to (me) singing with nature before sitting and listening; playing cards at the kitchen table like old men talking mess; talking in front of the fire; and relaxing in the jacuzzi this was a perfect birthday gift. The bed is very low to the floor, but comfortable. During a night rain storm we slept like babies. Our last 15 minutes before checkout was spent sitting on the porch, rocking in the chairs, listening to the rain. We are looking forward to coming back and renting both cabins with friends/family. This was a bucket list item. Stay in a log cabin in the woods!

It is along a major highway so there is occasionally truck noise. The skies are blue. The air is fresh and crisp. And you might catch a whiff of honeysuckle nearby. There is a small local airport for private planes and in the summertime you might catch a biplane doing loop de loops in the sky. Peace and quiet is the recipe for this motel off the beaten path but still close to farmers who sell eggs and honey. Entertainment can be found to the west in Robertsville at the Hitchin' Post or to the east in MINERVA Ohio. You might even see a horse and buggy at the local grocery store.

Couldn't do anything cause of mud. Roads were poorly maintained. Nothing good about the place. Maybe if they wasn't trying to make more site available on the day people was placed at these sites and it didn't rain. Which they couldn't control but they could have gravel their roads better.
