Country fried steak and eggs
Lance J.

This restaurant was established in the1980 or 1990's. I've eaten there since my birth in the eighties. I've eaten there for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The food is excellent. I'm going to complain to the state attorney general so I can get my hands on the leftovers while you're shut down. LOL Back to reviews, I'd recommend this restaurant very highly and they will continue to get my business.

This restaurant has greatly improved over our impressions in previous years when we have visited. There is obviously new management that has streamlined the order-expedite-serve-cleanup cycle here, and the facility itself was cleaner than in the past. After a short delay in the foyer, we were seated by a courteous-but-busy server from another section. Our server then came over within a few minutes and took our drink order, and then gave us a few minutes to look over the (large) menu and then took our order. The printed menu seemed well worn, a bit tattered, and not convincingly clean. We felt that they could have used a good sterilizing and wiping down. The food, however, was very good homestyle cooking with lots of choices for all types of tastes, and even a page of items for seniors, and a selection of pies were on specials posted on the chalkboard near the entrance. Impressive to us, was how quickly tableware was removed as we finished with them. Appetizer plates disappeared almost immediately. Salad plates barely had time to settle before they were swooped up, and dinner plates were collected only a heartbeat after we finished with them. The busser was like a hawk, watching every table, and johnny-on-the-spot to make sure diners didn't have to sit over soiled dinnerware. There have been years when we only tried this restaurant once during our annual visit, but we are much more comfortable making repeat visits now that the quality and standards have been improved. We only hope that they can now maintain that level of service.

I literally watch the microwave for plates of food and then bring it to our table. You cannot achieve an over easy egg microwaved

Good food. Prices are a little expensive. Ordered breakfast for supper. It was a lot cheaper. Good service no wait time. Enjoyed my meal.

Not easy, since my wife is a "bacon - crisp" kinda gal, where I prefer Wookie bacon (you know, a little "Chewie").

Reallyl a cool, huge family dining room with plenty of huge tables for big families, plus booths and small tables. You don't have to wait to sit in the bar area (if available). Our waitress, Phoebe, was AMAZING! You should absolutely ask for her if you dine here. She was on point and super kind, efficient and fast. We enjoyed the generous dinner salad which came as part of my wife's fried shrimp dinner, which she LOVED! The salad was HUGE! 4 oz of dressing too. I always have to ask for extra. Not here. If you DO need extra, it's 4 MORE ounces for 59¢, which is a bargain. I can't imagine using 8 oz of dressing, but you do you. ;) The Fiddlestik that came with the salad was delicious! I LOVED it! My wife thought the bread was under cooked, but I like doughy bread (and cookies). My chicken fried steak was simply outstanding! I don't think it was hand breaded, but I don't care. The taste was there and it was everything. The mashed potatoes and gravy may be the best I've EVER had! They were spectacular! Fiddlestiks has it going ON in the kitchen!! WOW! I love that they have salt and pepper shakers on the table PLUS a black pepper grinder on every table! Fresh ground black pepper is a staple in our house and we loved it here. We were full as ticks with no room for dessert. Maybe next time, if we skip the salad, but I want that salad again!

We had one of the most enjoyable meals of our lives here! Service was friendly with a smile and many patient answers for our many questions. Turns out we love Turkish food. We had only had it once or twice before. LaBinnah Bistro is simply magnificent! We started with the Dolma appetizer. I have a soft spot for grape leaves, and these were outstanding! Definitely top three that I've ever had. My wife had the Istanbul shrimp and she loved them. Her boiled potatoes and asparagus were cooked exactly to her liking. I had the Saç Tava, which is Turkish stirfry beef with yellow peppers and tomatoes. I think there was some garlic in it. It was served with the best saffron rice I've ever tasted. We were completely spoiled with this Turkish home cooking. SO GOOD! We had a delicious and reasonably priced bottle of wine and the Godiva tall chocolate cake for dessert. It was moist and delicious but not overpoweringly sweet. Look at my photos of the interior of this place it's just charming and quaint. So lovely. We were visiting from the Kansas City area and we are absolutely enamored with this little restaurant and we will be back as much as possible!!!
