Today, I had the opportunity to visit Mary and her team at Allie's Walkabout, and I walked away…read moreincredibly impressed. Of course, you would expect a dog care facility to know dogs, but the level of knowledge and training demonstrated by this team goes far beyond expectations. They understand canine behavior, recognize signs of anxiety, and are attentive to even the slightest changes in a dog's demeanor. I observed team members carefully watching dogs that seemed a little "off," ensuring they were comfortable, safe, and receiving the attention they needed. I was equally impressed by the cleanliness of the facility. The team continuously works to maintain a clean and healthy environment, not just because it looks good, but because they understand that cleanliness is critical to the health and safety of the dogs in their care. What truly stood out, however, was something I witnessed that had nothing to do with dog care. A customer stopped by to thank the staff and mentioned that she had become engaged. Through a casual conversation, the team learned about the exciting news and later sent her flowers to celebrate the occasion. That simple gesture spoke volumes about who they are as people. Allie's Walkabout doesn't just care for animals; they genuinely care for the people who love them. The compassion, kindness, and attention they show extend beyond the dogs to every customer who walks through their doors. Outstanding businesses are built by outstanding people, and Mary and her team are a perfect example of that. They are caring, dedicated professionals who truly love animals and people alike. It was an honor to spend time with them, and I can see why so many pet owners trust them with their beloved family members.

This is an addition to my earlier review. After deciding, I would not be returning to Allie's…read moreWalkabout, I begin investigating other options in the same area. I'd like to add that "Ruffin' It" a similar Doggie Day Care,/boarding/grooming facility in the same geographical area appears to be less expensive and also has a customer friendly policy where cancellations are accepted up to 11:59 PM the night before the pet is scheduled to arrive. At 4.5 stars they also have a higher rating than Allie's. I will be looking into Ruffin' It as a better alternative to Allie's.

My girl is very timid and calm, so I find it appalling that every time I pick her up she has cuts, razor burns, and nails clipped until they are bleeding. I took her for her usual monthly grooming just a few days ago and when I went to pick her up she looked nothing like the pup I dropped off for a "light trim" and her ear was dripping blood, they're explanation, "she must have scratched herself." I will be finding a new groomer, for the price I pay, this is unacceptable!

She loves her Pack Leaders like Bonnie, Kellie and others. It's comforting to drop her off in the am and have the Pack Leader know her by name and watch Bella do a big ole wiggle butt. I love the webcam so I can check in and see Bella's crazy shenanigans throughout the day. And, Britnye, the groomer, does an amazing job with my girl. Please check this place out. They were barking their heads off. Everyone was super friendly - assuring me that they had seen and heard it all. I still apologized profusely for my boys noisy behavior. I left them there and got a call a few hours later saying that they were all done. When I go back, both my boys were quiet in the crate they were in. I was surprised to see them behaving so well! Then they saw me and went nuts again. You absolutely can't beat the prices here. I saved a fortune by coming in here rather than going to Petsmart. I was so pleased with the results - they were both fluffy and clean and totally wore out for the rest of the day! I will definitely be back again.
