Update; This business owner is over -the-top, and not in a…read moregood way. His response perfectly demonstrates exactly what I described. *The lies *The excuses *The accusations Just as expected. I (unlike the shop owner and the 'groomer') have no reason to lie. The pictures show only the visible part of the damage. The permanent damage to his trachea, his knee and front leg/shoulder cannot be seen except on X-rays. The emotional damage and PTSD is an everyday thing and I'm still working at a snails pace, gentling him back into grooming. He doesn't shake as much as he did at first but it's still awful for him. These people are monsters, and the 'groomer', Cassidy...I don't know this person, never met her before, but I do know that she has absolutely no business dealing with animals. Shame on you people! Dropped off my Pom for basic grooming with Cassidy. Instead of a well groomed fluffy happy Pomeranian, I picked up a very quiet little Pom with The entire bottom half of guard hairs cut off, you can see his skin through the undercoat that is left. He was abused in a manner that caused his trachea to partially collapse with improper use of the grooming loop. Cassidy caused his front right leg to no longer have full range of motion, and a luxating patella (his right rear leg), repaired with no issues for ten years, is knocked out of place as a result of the 'grooming' he received from Cassidy. The owner was rude, accused me of lying. Cassidy lied. Another employee there lied. Owner was physically very threatening, approaching me quickly several times stopping inches from my face, so close his spit got on my face as he yelled at me. Of that's the sort of thing you are looking for, you're going to absolutely LOVE this place!

They are the first groomer that hasn't hurt my pup while grooming him, he came back to me so happy and crazy just like when I dropped him off. The prices were incredible for the service. Normally it costs well over $100 for a doodle grooming, but I paid around $65 for the grooming (bath, trim, nails), it was more with a tip of course but they were wonderful so absolutely deserved! So thank you a ton for being good to him, he'll be back soon!!

When we came to pick them up the first thing one of them said to us was a negative comment about one of our boys' anxiety level and the other lady didn't even look up once the whole time we were there. They just didn't seem like they really liked the dogs. Other groomers we've been to have been so sweet with the dogs and seem to really love all the dogs that come in and I just didn't get that vibe here. Also we noticed when we got in the car that they nicked a little nodule on one of their backs and there was blood but they didn't mention it to us when we picked up. The cuts were fine and they smelled great so if you are looking for a groom for a great price this is your place, but I'd rather pay the premium and feel better about our pups being loved up when I drop them off for a groom.

My wife and I also owned a grooming salon prior to her retirement about 12 years ago. So, I figure I have done my share of grooming and know what constitutes a true professional and what doesn't. I met Michelle at a grooming competition over 15 years ago when she was in the early stages of her grooming career. Since then, she has risen to the top of the grooming community, proving herself as one of the world's top groomers competing abroad at the zenith of her career. And if you don't believe it, when you enter her shop, you can look to the right and spy her trophies from all sorts of competitions, to include winning gold at the Intergroom shows in Europe. She's too humble to claim to be the best, but her record and reputation prove such to be. She's also my handler, taking my dogs from puppy nothings to AKC Champions and Grand Champions, all the while charming them to do anything she asks. I even caught her on video in the ring reaching down to set a foot and kissing my girl Crystal (GCH/EGCG Aircastle Diamond's Reflection, D-CAT) on the nose. To the one review who said she was "mean", all I can say is that they apparently have little experience with professionals. She and KC are neither mean rough, ill-tempered, nor in any way inappropriate with the dogs in their care, and the reaction of my dogs to her are proof of this. They love the both of them! Not only would I highly recommend this shop for grooming...if you can get an appointment (another proof of their quality and professionalism)...but I entrust my precious pups in her care regularly, both to groom and to show. For these reasons, Michelle will always handle the Aircastle Standards for as long as I can convince her to take them in the ring.

On his second visit, he marched right up the door anticipating his doggy makeover. I called and spoke with an assistant manager and then the manager who offered to even out his coat (the assistant manager admitted the groomer was new). NOPE! I paid extra $10 to have his teeth brushed - check out the picture. I was able to scrape off the plaque with my fingernail! The pictures tell the truth - she even shaved the top of his tail!
