We tried the 1/4 lb platter. With fries and potato salad. The pulled pork was amazing. Great flavor and very tender. The smoked sausage was as good as any smoked sausage I have had in upstate NY. The chicken was also very tender and had a good smoked flavor. The ribs had a lot of flavor and were not over cooked like some places do. The brisket.... Was brisket.... Maybe it wasn't made today which is fine. It tasted more like a roast than a brisket. My wife and I differ on our opinions of BBQ houses. I like to try the meats before I put any sauce on. My wife like it covered beforehand. This place doesn't smother it but does put it on before I got a chance to try the meats. The potato salad was ok but not bursting in flavor. The pieces in it are cut fairly large. It was ok. Fries are fries. A little over salted. But they did have malt vinegar. We might try this place again.

I wondered if it had really been barbecued. I didn't finish it. The ribs were okay, but not enough to make up for the brisket. The only part of the meal I really liked was the broccoli, which had been cooked with bacon. The plate below, with ¼ pound each of ribs and brisket, cole slaw, small corn muffin, and broccoli, was $47 including tax and tip. Price, service, and atmosphere were all acceptable, I have no complaints there. But the food was not good enough to bring me back.

Everything was clean and maintained well. Our server came over and took our drink order. The drinks came out quickly. My 7&7 was strong and hit the spot. We ordered the chicken bacon ranch Mac & cheese and an order of garlic Parmesan wings. The food came out fairly quickly and man o man! Everything looked and smelled awesome. Mac & cheese ohh so yummy and such a huge portion, and it was only a side portion. The wings..... the best I've had in such a long time. Perfectly cooked. Generous and flavorful sauce. Bleu cheese, house made, equally as good as everything else. Everything was good and a fair price. We left happy, and full.

We ordered the Rodeo Mac and Cheese and the Bacon Chicken Ranch Mac and Cheese (both in the whole size--think 5-6 cups each!), plus the Rodeo Burger, which comes topped with BBQ pulled pork and crispy onion straws. Everything was absolutely DELICIOUS, and even with our family of five, we still had leftovers. So. Much. Food. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We ate downstairs, though there's a bar upstairs if that's more your vibe. Our waitress was super friendly and even tried to warn us that one whole mac would be plenty--but we wanted to try both flavors, so next-day leftovers were just part of the plan. Pricing felt very reasonable for the giant portions and the quality. Mooney's is one of those restaurants that knows exactly what it does well--and does it really well. We'd definitely come back!

The tables looked like the lunch rush had just came through and were not wiped all the way clean. Now one thing I never seen anywhere else was they had cleaner/sterilizer at every table with a roll of paper towels. Maybe they assumed each customer would clean the tables themselves or it was to make it easy for whoever was cleaning the tables. They have a normal amount of options for a burrito shop. What they don't have is salsa with the chips. I know places like Chipotle and Moes (Chain places) have the salsa bar. Most other burrito places I have been that are not chains will give you a small container of salsa or queso being an additional charge. We both got steak burrito's and I should have tried something else so we could review two options. The burritos are bigger than what the chain places offer. Flavor a little different. My wife said something was off with the steak I just thought it was over salted. It was very soft and was in an almost gravy looking juice. I have been to some places that ask every option and places that stand there and wait for you to tell them. This was a little of both. Not as many options as a chain restaurant. The staff seemed pretty friendly and we didn't have any issues with anyone. The food was at best ok. Great for the area it is in. All in all an ok experience. I will probably try them again with a different selection.

It was kind of like eating your wedding cake for your anniversary. I picked here because it was pretty close to the museum and had such great reviews. It I located right on the main street of their village and it can make you feel like you walked into the life of Rory and Lorelai Gilmore. The shop it self is super cute and decorated perfectly. The store front changes often to reflect the season and holiday's. They have a pretty sizable menu for such a cute little place. They other some simple lunch choices like sandwiches but their main thing is dessert- and boy do they know how to do dessert. Adam and I had such a hard time picking our something so we wound up each getting a cupcake and drink to consume there and some goodies to take home. Their cupcakes were perfect. They were light, fluffy, and moist. Their frosting was also fabulous. Frosting can go wrong very quickly. A lot of companies use far too much sugar and the frosting becomes very heavy. This frosting was on point of just the perfect amount of sugar so it was easy to lick it all right off the cupcake. Pretty much the only downfall I can think of it parking. It is street parking and it can be hard to find a spot. Also, the ability to parallel park is a plus. Overall, I would highly suggest it here and I ready have to a couple of family members who came for the museum. The variety is amazing and the flavor a are ever better!

I'd seen the positive Yelp reviews and received it as a suggestion from the young lady at the Rockwell visitor desk. This is a counter service bakery & cafe. There was a line when I got here. It was a bit slow with one person taking orders. There's a handful of tables and short counter seating looking out the front window. I noticed the sweet smell of baked goods when I walked in. I ordered the recommended BLT Turkey & Cheese crepe with the warm cheesy casserole side. The crepe is large, larger than a sandwich. There is a lot of dill sauce on top but it isn't overwhelming. The crepe has good flavor and it is filled well. The thinly sliced lettuce and diced tomato help lighten each bite. The casserole is on the smaller size which perfectly suits the size of the crepe. It's very cheesy with the potatoes adding more of a texture than a flavor. I would recommend this spot for a filling lunch while exploring Corning.

At some point in the last year, Wegmans changed recipes at all of their pizza shops. The new pizza is smaller in diameter, has thicker and much less tasty crust than in the past. I think the tomato sauce may have also been downgraded to a lower quality, less flavorful substitute. I keep hoping they revert to the old format and recipe. I stopped at the Wegmans pizza shop in Corning NY last week, to give it a fresh try. I ordered a large pizza with mushrooms. Still very disappointing. The crust was terrible -- dry and too thick.

During checkout I am required to stand back away from the register, there is plastic between myself and the check out person and everyone is wearing masks. As a person starts to loose hearing they learns to read lips, at least to get clues from watching the person's mouth. The mask prevents this. Every time I come to the counter, I am asked a series of questions. I can not hear them and I always say so. I am asked again and again. This is forcing me to be embarrassed in public, over and over again. There is one check out person, a middle aged woman who wears a lot of make up, I now avoid, as she was aggressive to me, roller her eyes and has absolutely no compassion. I am thinking of shopping elsewhere at this point. If you have a hearing issue you might want to do the same.
