She proceeded to tell me that they do not have any breaded haddock left to fill my order. I told her that I called in the morning to place the order so I wasn't quite sure how they couldn't have any for me. That is the purpose of ordering ahead. She stated that they were very busy and ran out. Meanwhile, while I'm talking to her, my brother-in-law was in line to pick up the order. She stated that they could fill my order next week Friday. I told her I have people at my house now for dinner. She then transferred me to someone else. I believe she said she was transferring me to the general manager or manager. He came on the phone asking how he could help me. Did she not tell him why she called me?! So I told him what she told me. He basically said the same thing. They were very busy and ran out of the breaded haddock. He also mentioned that they could fill my order for next Friday. Then he suggested one of the other types of fish, at a much higher price. He also stated that they probably didn't have 5 pounds of any type of fish to sell me. I can't believe they would run a business like that. Offering fish for next week wasn't a solution. I had a group of people at my house for dinner last night. I don't know that I could trust ordering ahead from them again. When he asked me to marry him, we knew right away Ms Rob's was going to be our first choice in catering the event. We went with a BBQ buffet. The food is cooked fresh on-site. Their Mac and Cheese is to die for! The brisket is tender, juicy and flavorful. He charged us less for the kiddos. He was so accommodating. It was no fuss no muss. We made a plan, confirmed the numbers and showed up to a great meal. Our time frame got delayed for a half an hour. Ms. Rob's was "on it" making adjustments to ensure amazing hot food for all of our guests. We fed about 110 people in a little over an hour and never ran out of anything or had to wait for anything. Bacon was thick cut and rubbed with - you guessed it, peppercorn! They provided our hosts with dishes, chafing dishes, coffee earns, coffee and juice, napkins and cutlery. The caterers are incredibly friendly and communication was good between our hosts and Lynn and Ben, the owners.
