If I could give this place a 0 stars I would. I drove 45 minutes to go check out a motor at this shop and the motor was advertised as complete and running with only 90k but when I got there the motor had the valve cover torn off and the timing looked like it was messed with and had oil leaking out of the head keep In mind that this motor was advertised as low mileage and showed pictures of a complete motor. Not to mention the motor was just sitting on the floor and when we arrived to the shop he just said there's the motor and walked away. This was simply the worst experience I have ever had buying anything let alone an engine. read more

I brought my vehicle in Had a cylinder six misfire had them do a diagnostic on my vehicle told me that all my cylinders were misfire which was not the case. The only problem end up being wrong after we replace 1400 worth of part an labor was low compression in 6 cylinder . They finally decide to do a compression test on my cylinder. I brought my car in and explain to them that there was a misfire in cylinder six this was one of the main things they should've done in the beginning. Straight got hustled. read more

After two days of work I got my car back, the overheating issue was gone. These guys flat out are crooks. I brought my car into them and at first they did decent worm, but every time it was something else wrong with the car. The kicker was when they worked on my transmission, from the very beginning it didn't work right after their repair and I kept dealing with them over it for over 6 months. The last time they "fixed" it I had barely gotten out of the parking lot before it started having massive problems and the transmission broke on it before I could get it back. They still refused to back up their warranty. Had another mechanic look at it and it looks like they put a bad transmission in my car when they replaced it. Total crooks, wouldn't trust these guys with anything, they'll rob you when they can. read more

Dave and team got to the bottom of it, explained what was wrong, Re did the work correctly that the previous shop had majorly screwed up, and was completely if not overly fair about his pricing. Just yesterday 3/23, I showed up about 10:30am, was out of town had to leave ASAP and had no appointment with them. My 750LI had a drivetrain malfunction and was running terrible. The guys felt bad so they took me without an appointment (Thanks btw guys!). Within 15 minutes the guys knew exactly what was wrong and I was back on the road heading home by 12am. They charged me lower than I expected so I was so impressed with them I paid them extra. If anyone wants their BMW repaired quickly and expertly you gotta try these guys out. I came to countdown for my Daughters 2008 mini convertible, I would put the key in the ignition all the dash lights came on as normal but nothing happened the starter wouldn't engage and the engine wouldn't crank called several mechanics, I used just answer and the BMW mechanic with 25 years experience didn't have a clue said I would have to have it towed to the Mini dealer, so i called Countdown BMW Motorwerkz, and the gentleman on the phone said no problem bring it in we'll fix it, they connected the Mini to their scanner and the DME would not communicate with his software, I thought the DME computer was toast but they called me a few days later and said come get your car its done, they did an amazing job, at an incredibly reasonable price, Thank you Countdown, I will definitely refer anyone with a BMW or Mini to them any time, professional, knowledgeable and very reasonable. read more

Let me just start by saying I am EXTREMELY impressed. YOUR SEARCH FOR AN HONEST REPAIR SHOP ENDS HERE. I literally towed my car here after it sat for damn near a year. Originally I had a gasket leak that resulted in a small fire under the hood that caused more damage than I imagined. The staff was great, Edward is awesome! Very honest and willing to take on my 2007 BMW 328i's mechanical challenge, the best part is that he kept me in the loop the entire time, emailed me details of the work they would need to do to get my car up to par and kept my updated on the cost! No surprises at this shop... he said my car was in good hands and my car was back up & running in a few business days! MY CAR RUNS BETTER NOW than it has in years! I honestly wasn't even sure if the car was worth saving but I'm so glad I took it here! I told myself I was going to wait a week before posting a review to "see how it runs" but I've already put 300 miles on it since I got it back & I have NO COMPLAINTS! Frauds !!! Frauds !! FRAUDS !!! Please do not bring your car here omg I don't know where to start. I have a bmw 318ti & every time I brought my car in the estimated time would be 30min to a hour wit appointment which I had. I didn't get my car back until 5 hours !! Yea 5 hours for a oil change. I went in again to get my Windows checked & when I insisted Dave to take a look he told me he knew it was my window regulators & he gave me the estimated price of $179.00 each, one for my driver door & one for passenger door. I knew that was way to much so I went to O'riley's & got them for $75 dollars each. Then when I brought my car to get repaid he said it would be a estimated time of 2 hours. I brought my car in at 9am & didn't get it back until 1:00pm the next day. I was so upset you have no clue. When I got my car back DAVE tells me that it wasn't my regulators it was my clips to my car "so yes believing he knew what he was talking bout set me back $160 dollars" so after I get it I ask well what was wrong he said my tracks are outta place. & tells me regulators don't usually mess up on these cars so why would he give me a quote on one & tell me to get others when all he had to do was listen to me & check. & the only reason I didn't do it was cause he said it would be a waste of my money to get it looked at when HE WAS 100% sure it was my regulators. He tried to get me to keep bringing my car in so I can keep paying him. Also today was the last straw im in the shop right now & angry again cause I went back today to get a oil change. I brought my car in at 9 sharp & was told it would take 30min to a hour. So i waited 1 hour in a half before I called them back to see what's the problem. Edward the assistant answered & told me to come down cause my car was finished & when I did get there he told me the car wasn't done & they were waiting for my oil filter. I live in perris by the way & they know this cause I come here often. So after that I'm like ok how long until the oil filter arrives & he says 30min so I leave for a hour. I call back & they tell me to wait more time cause they are waiting for the filter. So I tell them no ima get my own & just put it on. I went & got the filter from O'rileys for $10 Countdown was charging me $25 lmao they suck please don't stress your self & come here. They are terrible business men & care absolutely 0 shits about you. Ps I NEVER GOT MY OLD REGULATORS BACK SO I DONT EVEN KNOW IF HE CHANGED EM, so most likely they stole them. if i could put zero stars i would i went there today at the request of a potential buyer for my car. at first everything was good they did there inspection and gave us the results. nothing major rotors a little worn and recommended changing the transmission pan gasket. but then the gentleman went on to inform me that my vehicle was supposedly 4 quarts low on oil. my car is a 5 quart motor and would have ran horribly with only one quart. he also informed us that he had added 4 quarts of oil to me vehicle. so here is the thing he did not ask me nor the potential buyer before "supposedly" adding oil to me car and didn't charge myself nor the potential buyer for said 4 quarts of oil (at least a $30 value since this is a bmw shop). but once all was said and done my husband and myself went on to check out our vehicle's oil situation only to find out that the oil is dark 3000 miles dark needs to be changed. but if the shop had added oil like they said they did a whole 4 quarts the oil should have been pretty clean since it was a 1/5 mix right. these people are crooks how are out to get your money i would not recommend them to anyone. read more
