What a great find. Happened to be riding through Soap Lake and checked Yelp for local eateries. Saw this had just one review and 1 Pic. The review was good so I thought I'd give it a shot. First thing I noticed is that they keep it tidy and clean. That's a good start. It sounded like the lunch rush had just left prior to my arrival so it was fairly empty. The waitress came right away and got my drink going. When she returned I asked about their soups. All were homemade and I chose the white bean and ham hock. It was so, so good and sent me in a dream back to when I was a kid at grandma's. I also ordered a mushroom Swiss burger with fries. It was brought out in short order and it too was delicious. The plate also comes with two small plastic cups of catsup and one larger cup of homemade fry sauce that was also awesome. It had a nice horseradish kick that wasn't too spicy. I was also pleasantly surprised to see a small skewer with grapes and mandarin orange slices on the plate. This was a nice refreshing touch to the meal. I also want to mention the fries are made from potatoes they clean and blanch, the pies are homemade, and the only 'from frozen' products they serve are the Boca Burgers and chicken strips. Everything else made in house. The burger meat is fresh and patties are made by hand. All of this adds up to a higher quality meal. With the very good service I received I would highly recommend this as a stop if your in the area. read more

Ate there twice. Breakfast was very good with biscuits and gravy but lunch was outstanding. The fried cheese sticks were a pleasant surprise. Also had a grilled cheese with sliced turkey which was very well done. read more

nope. I don't know if they were having a bad day, but 4 sandwiches should not take 45 minutes to prepare. If they DO take that long then they should be excellent. They were not. Not. Nope. I've been to this place twice now, and each time I've had a great experience. The place is kept clean and it has such a comfy 50's diner vibe, and the staff is awesome, they are very kind and will joke around with you, they are quick to respond even when it gets crowded, and the food is pretty dang good. The veggie burger I had the first time was a bit over done but still tasted great, the fries are very obviously fresh chopped potatoes, the sandwiches are great, very meaty and delicious and the soup tastes amazing, apparently they start the soups going early in the morning so there is plenty of time to build the flavor. You can tell that there's nothing from frozen on your plate. I've begun recommending this place to my friends and look forward to coming again! read more

We were passing through Soap Lake and we're looking for a quick place to get a bite to eat. It was mid afternoon so we didn't expect to see a crowd. And they're only at two other diners eating lunch. The place was cleaned and look nice. The waitress was friendly and took our orders and said she'd bring it outside to us. (We wanted to eat outside. I ordered a chili burger and my wife had the French dip. It took quite a while for Orders to come. The sandwiches were tasty and what we expected. The french fries left something to be desired. They were cold, limp, soggy, and looked like they were left over from Day before. My tip would be do not order the french fries. I think the one $ mine is a little wrong. I would've gave it two $'s for a burger place. read more

Food was alright. But wow, the service was horrendous. The shorter long hair blonde working today was all over the place, in a bad way. I had to ask for items several times and they never came. She rolled her eyes. She seemed overwhelmed with only 4 tables.... I was a server for 6 years so I know what's expected. The taller brunette server who brought our food out (with gloves so maybe she cooked?) was great. Much better attitude, got me what I needed after I had to go to the counter, and even refilled my drink. But she wasn't our server and did a better job. We definitely won't be back. Especially with a few burgers taking over 40 minutes when it isn't busy. read more

Gluten free options in Soap Lake!!!! Good quality food decently priced and no cross contamination experiences for sensitive eaters. An oasis in the middle of a gluten laden countryside. Delicious home made French fries in dedicated fryer!!! Need I say more?? Stop here! read more

A small but delicious kitchen. We were a large party of seven, so our meals came out staggered. We were warned though, and they kept the coffee coming while we waited! The platters we're well proceed and plenty big. Most of us couldn't quite finish. Although it's not the most amazing diner I've ever been to, it's definitely the best breakfast option in the area. read more

Horrible horrible horrible service and the food is way overpriced and horrible. Orderered chicken fried steak to go as I am a local,The smallest one I have ever seen, about 1/4". Thin and as big around as the palm of a small woman's hand, Advertised on The menu with someone's name as if it was home made and it's just a pre fab frozen patty, probably Winco's. The instant potatoes were so runny I poured them into the garbage can seriously and the price OMG, $15.00. They must think they're Michaels on the lake. The gravy was terrible as well, what little there was of it. So I scrapped it too and made my own and I'm so disappointed we now have another crappy restaurant in Soap Lake that I will never return too. read more

Went here while camping in the area and it is great. The prices are extremely reasonable and they were able to accommodate 7 very hungry people. Since we were a large group they let us know ahead of time that all our food couldn't come out all at once but it was fast overall. The staff was extremely friendly and kept our coffee cups filled. read more

My first visit at Cruisers was great tasty fresh burger like they say in the I fiber news ad for them and the meal included a drink. The owner raved how they don't use frozen only fresh. The last two visits were frozen patties and higher cost and the fries were over cooked, and no drink included. Not to mention I didn't feel welcome by the lack of good customer service. Very dissatisfied. I won't go back here. read more
