Super friendly service. Shabby decor, beer served in red solo cups. All good so far. The food we had the special which was brisket, mac and cheese, biscuit, corn and rice mixed and beans. Surprisingly the corn and rice mixture was the best thing in the plate. The beans were a soupy mess, the wasn't much cheese to the mac and cheese, the brisket was meh at best and the dry little biscuit was pretty much a dry hockey puck. New place downtown Ephrata. We really enjoyed chatting up with the waitresses and the owner. The chicken fried steak was yum and super large that we had a second meal another day at home. Plenty of drink choices for anyone looking for a libation. The fried pickles as an appetizer were tasty too. I would recommend and return! read more

Plan on being here for an hour to get a burger. Wife and I went in for lunch at 12:45pm, was not busy in the restaurant. We ordered cheeseburgers and tater tots, Waitress just said "It's coming" after waiting 30 minutes for just burgers. well no sh*t it's coming. Unfortunately, after waiting 40 minutes for cheeseburgers, we had to leave. As soon as we went to leave, we got flooded with the "I'm sorry"s and got told they were slow because thry were down to one fryer. Maybe say that to the customer from the jump instead of when they are walking out the door. One less place I will go for a $20 cheeseburger. read more

Excellent food and service. I had not been here in years since it was the "dive bar" Wendy's. Wow. Same place but refreshed interior and a new feel. Staff were great, courteous and attentive. Service was fast and great food quality. Prices are pretty consistent with the inflation we are all feeling. That isn't on them. It's what it costs now. The beer I had was not in a solo cup. A glass. Very good food. Especially for a bar. The drinks are great and the service has gotten phenomenally better. I've had the burger dip when on menu and the other burger. I've also had the breakfast and my steak was cooked perfectly medium. The hash browns are like a diced potato mix which is even better!! So yummy! Please give this place a try. Ephrata is small and does not have a lot of places like this. Also has a pool table in the back. Pretty rad place. read more

So - w/very limited choices of anywhere decent to eat here in this small town - I suppose this place is passable. Beer is cold, hamburgers are okay, fries are good (but not hot), and a few of the wait staff are able to do their job. Be prepared for quite a few old timers at the bar (who have probably been over-served - which was actually our favorite part about this place). It was our first visit to Ephrata and maybe we're just too 'big city paranoid' - but most of the businesses we frequented here seemed to have staff who were high or tweaking. (Unfortunately, including this place. One of the waitresses was mumbling to herself most of the time, and when she brought us our food she acted completely out of it. She left the restaurant at one point and as soon as she was out the door started yelling at the top of her lungs - to herself. We won't be returning to Ephrata any time soon - the whole experience was just weird....... read more

This place was fun but the food was very expensive and wasn't really good at all. The fish and chips was there special and fish and chips normally are around 15 max it was around 25$ the food was very greasy! All there food is frozen and I didn't expect much for it honestly being bad food but won't be eating anything from this place. Customer service is awful. read more

Stopped by for dinner tonight while visiting family in town. Super nice staff, had the bacon burger with tater tots and the meal was delicious, hot, fresh and a fair price. Bonus for the night - I got to connect with a couple high school friends who I haven't seen in 15 or 20 years who happened to be there for dinner. Definitely going to stop back here when I am back in town to visit family in the future. Try this place you won't be disappointed. read more

Worst ribs I have ever had in my life! It was a slab of fat with bones mixed in. I actually went on a mining mission to try and actually find some meat on them and was shocked at how little there actually was. I asked the restaurant if they could do anything about them, and they said sorry too late, I paid the full tab, and tipped the server as a dissatisfied customer. Better off staying home. read more
