I spent several days helping him research a used Honda, without a zillion miles on it that came from a well established reputable dealer. As an aside, there are quite a few search engines but if you find one that seems too good to be true, do a streetview of the dealer address. You might find an iffy looking, fly by night place and a bad carfax with a salvage title. Pay a little more and opt for a dealership. My son saw a car he liked at Germain Honda but he moved too slow. But there were 2 potentials here at Germain Mazda, and several more at Honda Marysville if Germain didnt work out. I met my son at the dealership and met with Alec who had our two choices ready for their test drive. He was personable and did not try to upsell us. Both cars were nice but the newer one clearly stood out. It was clean, loaded with stuff that were in my son's wish list and it had lower mileage. Description and pictures were accurate. Yes it had a tiny scratch that was repainted that you could barely see but I was looking for that. We had arrived before the dealership opened and all of their used cars were sparkling and ready for their new owner, we just wanted a Honda but we looked around just to kill time. Everything on the lot was clearly labeled. Buying the car took some time, not unreasonable, and we were offered tea, coffee and water. There were some strange questions related to financing that apparently Huntington Bank wanted answers like do you plan to transport a pet. Any kids riding in the car? We once again purchased the gap insurance. It is a really pretty car. I'm jealous. And Germain has been around FOREVER. And they filled up the tank. Highly recommend Germain Mazda for new or used cars and especially Alex and his team.

Let me also mention that there was intermittent rain the entire time that we were there. Reluctantly, I had brought my 2012 Hyundai Sonata as a trade. Kris was understandable when I rushed back out to sit in it in the rain to say my final good-bye. After all I had it for 13 years. Plus, I took some pleasure in watching my ex-husband standing in the rain waiting for me to come to my sense. Our Son immediately cased the lot in one direction, my Ex in the opposite, while I stood there like most women, checking out the colors. Poor Kris tried to approach all three of us, who had decided on different vehicles. Our Son wanted me to have something new, my Ex wanted me to have something older, and I just couldn't find the right color. Rain again. Kris looked like he had been swimming when I told him to wait inside while the three of us over-talked each other. The vehicle I researched turn out to be too big for me. Our Son tried to convince me to get a different model and my Ex insisted that I would be happy with an older model. More rain. Kris was still so patient. Probably wishing he had taken the day off, but still so patient. When he pulled up with the car my Ex chose I nearly fell like the rain. The SUV was "cute", but it was red, the only color in the box of 64 that I do not like. My Ex assured me that I would like it if I looked closer, because it is not really red, it was "Soul" red. Poor Kris, with that frozen smile wondering if he should take the car back or give me more time to see the soul in the red. We had been there for an hour already. I walked up to the vehicle an something about the color drew me in. I wondered if my ex was right, but had he ever been? We took it for a drive. It was so different from my Sonata. Different but better. I decided that my ex was right. Of course I did not tell him, even though he already knew. When we finally drove off in my new vehicle, the three of us were happy, wet, and tired. Poor Kris was probably all three. He was so very patient, polite, understanding, and he even invited me to come back if I had any questions, concerns, or in need of anything else. I've since gone back three times, (by myself), and He was absolutely right. He is so knowledgeable and he makes sure that all of my questions are answered while keeping a smile on his face. He even smile when he saw that I was blinging my vehicle out with RED accessories.I tell everyone to go to Germain, and about the staff who probably clapped when the three of us left, because of our conversations going back an forward like a ping pong match, and our Son who seemed to walk away from us like he had PTSD. But I tell them especially, about Kris. He deserves recognition, accolades, and a rainy day off! Thank you Kris. You are truly a natural at your job. Job well done! ( but I will be back to have my picture taken with that big red bow on top of my Soul red CUV!)

I guess they were relying that if they ignored you, the cost of legally getting them to honor their agreement would be too costly for us. As luck would have it, 8 months later Columbus had a flash food and it was dark and you couldn't see anything. Water rose above the floorboards and the car was totaled because of potential damage to the electrical components. We replaced the car elsewhere from a more honest dealer. Maybe Lash is OK if you want a NEW car and a Chevy where you'd have GM behind the purchase but I WOULD NOT buy a used car from them without having YOUR good mechanic thoroughly inspecting it. Fixes Lash makes from their service department, may only be a bandaid to get it off the lot and another 50 miles. And at least in our experience, anything written in the contract was not honored. I rarely write negative reviews, but this one is warranted.

They cancelled my first appointment because the tech was off on the day I had scheduled. I rescheduled for the next week. Then the service guy argued with me that it was not a bulb but an LED that needed replacement and said they couldn't do that on a mobile service. He kept quoting the "headlight" not the indicator bulb. He tried to tell me that that the non-BMW dealer put in an "after market" part which is why it wasn't working. I ended up dissembling it myself and taking pictures of the Bulb that needed replaced. He quoted me $120 plus labor to replace a $6 bulb. He cited the "labor" to replace it but I had already taken it apart! They must think I'm stupid. I ordered the part and did it myself which is what I should have done in the first place!

We briefly discussed the only RAV4 in stock in the trim level I wanted. Everything moved very quickly after the call. Amanda was straightforward and the deal was simple and easy to understand. Amanda paid attention to details of our conversations. I did not have to repeat myself or haggle about a single issue. When I told Amanda the tax on the offer was $100 too much, I got zero attitude. Amanda looked into it and the number was corrected. Amanda walked out to meet me as I pulled into the lot the morning I arrived. My appointment was at 9am on a Saturday and the whole deal was done by 10am. Amanda sat with me afterwards to make sure I got Apple CarPlay set up. She was totally focused on me and making sure I was satisfied that morning. That's a rarity these days. Overall, my experience purchasing from Zanesville Toyota was a dream. Taking time to write reviews isn't something I do often, but this review is deserved.
