So this was our first time eating at a Cotton Patch restaurant. Mary was our server and was a joy to have. She was happy and proficient. We got the sirloin with a side salad and loaded baked potato. Our steak was medium rare just as we ordered it. The salad was nice and fresh with good looking greens. The loaded baked potato was cooked nice. The skin was clean and salted. The wait to be seated, order and get our food was well within a timely manner. We would definitely come back to eat here again. My only complaint is they were out of the cornbread appetizer. Well....if you like slow service, empty drinks, and average food.......this is your place. Young kid waiters that were nice but not trained well at all. Multiple customers were visibly frustrated with the poor service. Maybe we caught them on a bad day but we were disappointed all around. In short, not a fan. First and last time to eat here. Iced tea was sent back bc it had no taste and was murky. Diet Coke sent back bc it was flat. Salad came SOAKED in dressing (now, i like ranch & even ask for extra in occasion- but this was soaked!) to top it off i picked 1/4 of the lettuce out bc it was wilted/brown. I had Cajun/blackened tilapia with shrimp. It was too salty (again, I'm not too sensitive when it comes to salt) One bright spot was my side of broccoli, good! I tried the chips and queso as well as the chicken fried tacos. Honestly, all the food was super salty and wasn't that good. The queso was good but the chicken tacos were hard to eat. I read previous reviews and was hesitant to try this place out. I was pleasantly surprised with the service. I walked in a little before their set opening time and they were still having a team meeting over in the corner but was quickly welcomed by a member of their staff. The manager sounded motivating and sounded like she was getting her team ready for the day. Throughout my meal my 10 month old kept dropping his toys and someone would quickly run to help me.. My drink was refilled several times without me asking and everyone was super friendly. The food was good and although they were busy with the lunch rush I received my meal hot, fresh and quick. I wanted steak and a baked potato so we went to Cotton Patch. The food was good and fresh. My husband's loaded mashed potatoes were so fresh and hot. The carrot cake to top it all off was delicious. All the staff was super nice. Our server Nia was so sweet and made sure we were well taken care of. She was awesome. The only disappointing thing was the rolls were not fresh. It would appear that the new general manager and his staff want to succeed. This is very important since much of the competition has either closed or chosen to ride on their reputation. I was leery because of the bad reviews, but the parking lot was packed so we decided to give it a shot. I have to say it was a pleasant surprise! The margarita was great, the chicken-fried bacon (!!!) was about the best thing I ever tasted, the skillet cornbread was terrific, and by then we were so full we could hardly eat our dinners. In the span of 5 minutes we watched the lady cook hand off a sandwich with bare hands to 2 other cooks, and watched the fry cook grab our fried mushrooms with his bare hands to see if they were done. bar service was okay. We got there at around 8, we were told a 30 min wait, we didn't even get sat down until 9:45, we just left, 11:15! Our kids never got their food, we had to take it to go! The manager on duty was awful! Absolutely awful! She was rude she literally filled refills for our kids and slammed the cups at them! Then had the nerve to come over and pretty much laugh in our faces when we were complaining! I asked for a number to the owner and she just told me I had to call the restaurant.. the boy as the hostess, had his Bluetooth on listening to music, he kept laughing at the situation as well! Ordered curbside pickup. Arrived early and called to let them know we were there. A few minutes later a girl brought a large sack out to our car. Her attitude wasn't overly pleasant, and as I was still struggling to get the very large sack through the car window, she was already heading back into the store. I could understand an employee being tired or grumpy at the end of a long day but this was one hour after the place opened and they weren't very busy. So we drive home, open up our meals and discover that three side items have been left out. I double-checked our online receipt as well as the paper receipt, and the sides were listed on them so apparently the retards who work there aren't able to read. Won't be going back. read more

My mom, grandmother and I came here for lunch today to try it out while we were in town. I just have to say the food was amazing, the brisket Queso was out of this world! I had the turkey and dressing it was great, my mom can only eat small plates for now due to health reasons and they accommodated and allowed her to have a kids meal, she had the chickadee bowl and it was amazing as well, my grandma had the chicken fried brisket and it was great! On top of the food being great, the service was phenomenal, our waitress unfortunately we didn't catch her name she had been off 7 months and said she was just getting the hang of things and is workin every Sunday if that helps identify her in anyway, she deserves a round of applause. Went there last night driving through town and the host was very clueless it took him forever to seat us and there was hardly anyone there!! We watched people leave bc they weren't being seated in timely manner! There was only a bout 5 tables being used! Watched all employees only pay attention to their areas and no team work at all!!! Also watched people getting pick up at bar and they all went thru the sack and 2 separate orders were not completed! It was sad!! Thank goodness our wait for our food was worth it bc it was Great! Today my wife and I ate at the cotton patch in Chickasha, Oklahoma. While we were waiting for our food the older couple at the table next to us decided that they were going to tell one of the managers a racist black joke. After telling the joke they laughed and looked at my wife that is African American. We notified a different manager she spoked with the manger involved with the joke. Three different employees came to our table and apologized for the couple's behavior and then the manager came and spoke with us. The manager proceeded to tell us that the couple comes in every week with the same behavior but theres nothing he can do about it. He can't tell them what to say or that they can't come in. He apologized and gave us our meal free. This type of behavior is unacceptable and should not be tolerated, there are African American employees that work there that have to just deal because of this couple. We will definitely have to think about if we will go back yet alone take our children there. read more

I went to eat at the Cottage Patch Cafe with family today. It took almost a hour to get our food. They didn't look busy so I'm not sure why it took so long. When I ordered, I thought I was ordering the three stuffed chicken tacos with chips. The menu has changed since the last time I was there. There were no prices on the menu and new items had been added. When my meal arrived, it was very small greasy street tacos with hardly any meat. It look like nothing I had in the past. I don't mind paying for food, but it has to look and taste good. Avoid the street tacos, they aren't worth $11.00. read more

We were not greeted at all the young lady started grabbing menus but never spoke to us at all until she said follow me. They were not busy! There were many empty tables and by our visit I can tell why. We sat at our table watching other people be waited on and watching waitresses visit and yet not a single one of them came to take drink orders or even really smiled at us. After about 20 minutes we got up to leave without ordering!!!! Which is when someone finally asked if everything was ok..... If they had been busy it would be understandable somewhat. My husband, kids and I consider going out to eat a real treat! Tried Cotton Patch on a Sunday afternoon. Wasn't busy when we came in. They took 15 minutes to get our drinks, 25 to get my husbands drink. The. It took another 30 to get our food. While waiting for our food we ran out of our drinks and the waitress never came to refill them. My husband had to wave her down to get her to bring drinks. Upon getting our food, it was luke warm at best. My sons cheeseburger had cheese that was more on the plate than the actual burger. We finished eating and had 10 empty cups on the table and empty plates from the appetizer that never got taken and filled up the table. Our waitress never checked on us or anything. Another waitress for another table stopped and was asking my body what they were talking about (which had nothing to do with her or the restaurant) which made it awkward. We will not be coming back to this location ever again. Really disappointed in the service or lack thereof! If you want good service I would say go elsewhere! read more

Cotton Patch Cafe! What can I say? Well every time I have been the waitstaff has been polite and professional. I've ate here prob a dozen times and have called in pick up for lunch. The Chicken Strips are hands down the best in Chickasha. Dip them in the BBQ sauce and it's awesome. Another hands down best item is their black eye peas. I could eat them all day. The atmosphere is good, except sometimes the music is to loud for my liking but that's minute and not a big deal. I've also had the 3 fish tacos deal - it's dang good. A bit spicy so be ready for that but if ya like spicy food, you'll love it. The broccoli is always good, chicken fried steak is good. I would say Cotton Patch is one of the better places to eat in Chickasha. Deff in top 3. read more

Horrible staff and customer service. I would give negative "stars" if that were an option. The staff at this restaurant are utterly incompetent. Restaurants are very limited in Chickasha, OK. With COVID, for the past year we order and pickup curbside delivery. We averaged a couple times a week and the average order cost for my family is normally between $68 - $92. They NEVER and I do mean never get all the items ordered and paid for in the bag. They always leave out no less than one item, i.e., salad, potato, side item, etc. I have had at least 2 occasions where they left out entire meals. I have brought it to the attention of 3 different managers at this restaurant who clearly could not care any less. There is no quality check on any order. I have to get out of my car and force the person bringing out the order to wait while I literally have to check each and every item in every bag. Order is never right. So sad that better staff can't be employed starting with management all the way down to the wait staff fulfilling orders. As such, Interurban and Jimmy's Egg gets our business instead. read more

We love cotton patch and eat there often but our experience tonight was lacking a few things. We stopped in on our way home from OKC. Walked in at 8:15pm and had to wait for a long time until anyone came to seat us as there wasn't even a hostess up front or even a waitress around to see us walk in. We had a party of 4. Restaurant was practically empty with only 3 other tables of customers. One was was actually leaving before we ordered our food. By the time we ordered drinks and looked over the menus and ordered, this was the most frustrating part, it was 9:25 when we got our food. I also ordered a to-go order which was given at the time of the dine in order. I ordered the mango duo with four shrimp, which had zero mango anything on it and just some type of crab sauce on the top. I didn't mention anything to the waitress about this because it wasn't that big of a deal. My daughter never got her gravy she requested with her tenders. The lemons I asked for when we first ordered our drinks didn't come until we were getting our ticket, she said they had to cut some, which apparently took over an hour. When the to-go order came the gravy wasn't the jalapeño gravy I requested but the waitress had it swapped out right away. And the second to-go meal(which was a kids meal) wasn't in the bag but they got that for us pretty quick. Over all I think the kitchen might need some help. The wait staff forget too much despite there being no other tables. Other than that we like this place. Surprisingly. Just don't expect to get in and out real quick, even when it's empty, and double check to-go orders before driving home. I'm glad I did because we live over 25 min away and I would of had an unhappy kid at home. read more
