First of…read moreall when I got "trained" on piercing people's ears they made me practice once on a piece of cardboard, and then I was told to lie and say that I've done that many times. As they do with ALL of their employees. My manger at the Layton Hills mall in Utah "Sarah Hartey" , had cut my hours out of nowhere so I asked her what was going on since we have hired a new girl yesterday and she already had more hours than I did and she haven't even been "trained" yet. She then proceeded to go downstairs to claire's to grab the assistant manager down there, with still no explanation. She comes back upstairs with the assistant manager from Claire's and tells me that people around the mall have been saying that I haven't been greeting customers which is completely false. I asked her who had been saying that and Sarah said that the assistant manager from Claires said that I didn't greet her when she walked in. Which was correct but I was actively checking out the customer and I didn't wanna cut them off and just to say hi to someone that worked here and knew what she needed in the back. I had asked her who else had been saying that and Sarah said no one else! Later that day, the Claire's assistant manager came back upstairs after Sarah had left and told me that she had no clue what Sarah wanted to talk to me about. And said that she had no part in this or what Sarah wanted her for upstairs . I tried contacting sarah's higher up. Her name is Camilla, I emailed her once, and she sent me an email back with complete gibberish that dosnt make sense. Then I proceeded to email her four more times without any response. And STILL no response, this is absolutely ridiculous and the fact that I can't even talk to someone about the situation because everyone that works at icing and Claires is immature.

Had an uncomfortable experience in bath and body works today at this location. I typically have…read moregreat experiences at the bath and body works store but today left a sour taste in my mouth. I had a cashier attempt to upsell me on their promotion of the day (which is totally fine I understand it's their job to do) and I honestly wasn't interested in getting a bunch of product I didn't want even if it saved me some money. Initially I told her I wasn't interested politely but she continued to push so I conceded and decided to take a look at the promotion options which happened to be body sprays. I picked out one that I thought was decent and I brought it up to the counter and she continued to tell me that I needed two for the promotion. I again told her I wasn't interested and to just put the body spray away and that I was fine with spending the regular amount for what I actually wanted. This cashier continued to press over and over to me the promotion after I had told her I wasn't interested multiple times. A customer shouldn't have to reject a sales associate more than a couple times to get the point across. I eventually got mad and told her to stop because at that point I was mad that she wasn't listening to me. I don't appreciate pushy sales associates sometimes a no is a no and you have to respect it! I shouldn't have to tell you I'm uninterested 5 different times it's bad customer service. Learn how to read the room!!!

We will also be in contact with corporate and the store manager can explain why they employee this individual whom seems to hate her job and people in general. I went ahead and canceled my order and will just take my business elsewhere.

I don't usually shop for jeans so I was curious as to what size jeans she thought I would be; she not only got my size spot on but she went above and she picked out the perfect pair of jeans for me. Out of all the dresses I tried on, the dress she picked for me was the only one that I really liked and I bought it. Madi is the single most sweetest and most helpful employees I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with:)
