Crazy 8's, I love this store for kids clothing!…read more Their prices are better than their sister-store, Gymboree. And the quality of clothing is far more durable than anything you can get at Walmart, or The Children's Place. My experience has been that their stores are always fairly clean, and organized. These stores also have the convenient sitting area for kids, that consists of a TV (playing toddler-friendly cartoons). Every time I've patronized this store, they have had fantastic sales. For example, the last time I was there: all tops were 50% off, and all clearance was an extra 40% off. In addition to this, I was able to use a 20% off my entire purchase coupon. This made for a perfect shopping experience. Every month I get multiple 20% off coupons for this store, they come in magazines like: Family Fun, Parenting, etc... And I get them in mailers too! The coupons are not that hard to obtain. So, grab a coupon, take advantage of sales, & find children's clothing store nirvana.

An employee walked over, rolled her eyes, loudly said, "Oh my gosh, are you kidding me?" and then complained about my child right in front of me. If you're that bothered by children being children, maybe working at a CHILDREN'S store isn't the right job for you. Why have a kids' play area if your employees are going to get annoyed when kids actually play with it? So rude, uncomfortable, and unprofessional. I definitely won't be returning to this location.

Going into the Layton Hills Mall Journeys, I thought to myself: What does this store have that…read moreother stores don't? Because Journeys deals in the very competitive shoe market, it's a valid question. Their "featured brands" are Converse, Timberland, Vans, Birkenstocks, Uggs, and Adidas. Okay, first, there's an entire Vans STORE in the same mall. Birks I can find in more abundance at the Active Republic. And the rest can be found at Famous Footwear, Foot Locker, and several other places in the mall. At the time I went (a week before Christmas), they didn't have any stellar sales as with others. Some good merchandise, but Journeys -- in my opinion -- falls under the category of jack of all trades, master of none.
