It's crowded. Kids are screaming. But it's a children's clothing store, I don't expect anything…read moreless. We went to return some items we got as gifts, which they took no problem. The weird part of their return policy was that we had to spend the credit from our return that day. Why? Do you not have gift cards? Kind of annoying but we complied, found some things, and made our way out of there. I do appreciate that even the clearance rack was well organized by size. That made our life easier. That being said, I'd probably only buy stuff from clearance at carters. A lot of it seems overpriced and just not my style.

I do suggest they take a pic of the board next to the sell counter & post it on their social media pages. It has a list of things they need/are accepting for buy, which I think is very handy to know. As a former flipper, I say good for Savers and the outreach they do in the community. I still found the prices to be a good deal overall. As with any thrifting adventure, it just takes a little extra effort to inspect each item carefully and discover a hidden gem. The thrill of finding a treasure remains, and it's still worth the hunt if you are going for personal use. I found top brands for reasonable prices (Patagonia long sleeved shirt with tags for $10.99, Ecko sweatshirt from Nordstrom Rack with tags for $8.99, etc.) I found a Lord of the Rings tee, Stephen King Pet Cemetery tee, Betsey Johnson long-sleeve, and several cool band concert shirts for less than $8 apiece. This location and the surrounding Savers within an hour radius are fantastic hunting grounds for the casual treasure hunter.

Then on my next visit, I asked for a private lesson where I could design a copper bowl on my own and re-make my silver snake ring into a bracelet. The ring was gorgeous, but was a bit heavy for my finger. Now the beautiful light bracelet is just perfect! The abstract bowl I made is also very much to my style. But I certainly appreciated the technique Rene taught me in making the proper round bowl. Everyone in the shop is super nice, from the artist to front desk people, everyone is just warm and happy being. I highly recommend the classes in this place. So reasonably priced and so worth it!
