Love shopping at kid to kid! I shop the most at the Ogden local, but also enjoy shopping at the Layton location as well. Love that they're owned by the same person, so my credit is useable between both stores. For anyone who's only gone in to this type of store one time and made your mind up about a crappy selection, I'll tell you to KEEP GOING! This is a thrift store! New stuff is being brought in every single day. There are some days I find nothing in my kids' size, and other days I have to put stuff back because I'm finding too much I want to buy. I also love their selection of new items, whether it be books, toys, bracelets, hair bows, or beanie boos. Kid to kid is one of our favorite places to go! Me, and my kids! I have been going to Kid to Kid for 11 yrs now. The staff is super friendly and helpful. My son is outgrowing the store and that means I will have to shop retail. What? I have sold my sons clothing there since he was an infant. I have always chosen store credit (which is more than the cash) to use when I shop. It is so great! Sometimes they take a lot of my clothing and sometimes only a handful, but I understand that so many people sell there and that they look for current styles without stains or holes and they may not be in the need of certain sizes. I also love that they can add you to their wish list for certain items they may not have at that time, but if they do get it in, they give you a call. i love this store! i have been shopping and selling items to kid to kid for over 13 years and have always had very good experiences!. the staff are always kind and helpful. even when they are not able to purchase a lot of my items, they have been very kind and took the time to explain the reasons. i recommend kid to kid to all of my family and friends with small children. this is a great wat to be able to keep my kids always looking cute! love the ladies at this store and the owners are so welcoming and kind. the store is full of cute items and i always find something when i shop. i love that they will bring me downstairs to look at more clothing that they call back stock. i also love the kids play area, it makes it so much easier for me to shop. read more

Great place to shop for your kiddos! Prices are great and the new owners are seriously amazing! Always so helpful ... They have completely re done the store and it has made the shopping experience a lot easier and it is much more clean and organized ...the staff is always so welcoming and kind. I used to hesitate going here because of the atmosphere from before but ever since the current owners took over it is one of my fave places to shop! My 2 granddaughters needed specifically coordinated wedding attire. Searched high end stores, Lord & Taylor, Bergdorf Goodman to name a few couldn't find any dresses that caught my eye. I just remembered about the Kid to Kid stores. Found 2 beautiful dresses, high quality! And matching sweaters, tights and hair bows to match! They were dressed to the nines! I'm always so pleased with the customer service here! Prices are fairly reasonable, and on top of that, I feel like they're always generous with the amount they pay me for the stuff I bring in. I always get the best bang for my buck. Some things can be a little pricey, but at the same time, you have to realize they are very particular that the stuff they accept is in great condition, and then you also have to realize the price that product is new. My kid has a constant stream of compliments on her wardrobe, and I dont break the bank making sure she is adorable! The staff is friendly, the store is always clean, and everything is organized so it's easy to find just what I'm looking for! Also, I dont have to weed through ripped or stained clothes, everything available is in great condition. After reading so many reviews on here about the customer service I figured I needed to get on and introduce myself. I bought Kid to Kid Ogden in May of 2019. We have been working very hard to turn the image on this location around by improving the Customer Service, the layout of the store, new employees and the over all quality of the product. I visited the riverdale Kid to Kid. I was looking for baby girl items. I am trying to help my niece any way I can. Her mom died and her grandma committed suicide all when she was in elementary school. Her dad and step mom treat her absolutely terrible. They are very mentally, verbally, and emotionally abusive! Her dad and step mom's family have disowned her and shame her for being pregnant. The staff at Kid to Kid were extremely helpful and friendly. read more

I go into this store almost every week to either sell or buy stuff for my daughters and every time I walk in they greet me, and ask if I need any help, owner is so friendly and so nice!!! I love this store because it has great clothes for such good prices and a lot of the time never be worn or gently used!! All in good condition!!! WOW!!! There has been a change of ownership and in the Ogden store and it shows!! The inventory is better, the store is FAR better organized. It feels clean, bright, just better presentation all the way around, less of a trashy/thrift store vibe. We would avoid this location in the past but we will be back more frequently now for sure! Shopping at kid2kid is the only way to go with children's clothes, toys and baby items! I always get fair price when I sell and their racks are always a great deal and because they only buy good quality clothes it's always the cutest outfits. I love their sales (which I get text reminders for!!!!)when clearance items go for a buck or 2 for a dollar! No place else I'd shop for my kids clothes. read more

I am so happy I stopped in this store! It has changed so much since getting new owners. There is so much more to buy. It is bright, organized and the have tons of stuff. I loved their cleat section! It is so different! They even carry the bigger sizes--like size 14. That is hard to find--anywhere so I am excited. This is where I have always gone to get my daughters clothes. They are really good at filtering through clothes that are lightly used vs. overused. The workers are very nice and help you when asked. I LOVE kid-to-kid! The selection is always different enough that you're guaranteed to find things you love. we often find items that are still new with tags. when my kids grow out of things, we bring back all the stuff we bought from KK that doesn't fit them anymore and sell it back! Then we get some in-store credit to use to buy more! It's so helpful and convenient. read more

The owner here is always so nice and friendly to me and my kids. My older kids love playing in the little play room. I have good luck finding baby clothes especially and I have always gotten a fair price for the equipment I've sold. They are picky about what clothes they buy which can be discouraging as a seller, but I really appreciate it as a buyer there. read more
