Made an appointment with the owner of the company Carrie and I have nothing but amazing things to…read moresay! She was sweet, kind, willing to help, kept everything clean. Already telling my other pregnant friends to go and hit her up!!!

Came in here in desperate need of a breast pump and got so much more help and information than I…read moreever could have expected. You definitely aren't going to get service like this at Target or Babies R Us, and with all the other decisions moms need to make, the owners of Lactation Station make it easy for us. They rent hospital-grade pumps for about $75/month (and you purchase your own parts for about $60) so I initially thought I'd do that but Carrie (one of the owners and a certified lactation consultant) suggested purchasing a single-user pump for between $89-$160. They even let you try them out (and clean everything for you) in private rooms that lock so you can decide if you like them in comfort and privacy - who does that?? (There is a $20 fee for trying them out that you can use as a credit if you purchase a pump.) Carrie made me feel comfortable and well taken care of while navigating the confusing and stressful mechanics of nursing a baby. Stephen, her husband, repairs and services the pumps, and he knows everything about how they work, which ones have the best motors, etc. They gave me honest feedback about the different kind of pumps and I never felt like they were being sneaky about up-selling. The store also has a large selection of nursing bras (which they expertly fit you for and have sizes between 32A-48K), tanks and nightgowns, all other nursing paraphernalia (like nursing pads, etc.), bottles and some feeding supplies, a small section of cute newborn clothing, and nursing pillows. It's a little awkward to see her husband Stephen bustling back and forth in the store - plus other customers' husbands as well - if you're at all skittish about nursing but everything is clean and discreet - there are separate rooms for nursing, trying out the pumps, and a restroom for diaper changes, chairs for a spouse waiting with you plus a small play area in the back for your older kids you might bring with you. Best of all, they have a master list of the insurance companies and what is covered, and even though my insurance company's customer service told me I was only covered for a manual pump, the owners of Lactation Station referred me to ANOTHER STORE so I could get a free double-electric. Stephen and Carrie gave up my business for the good of the customer (me). Who does that anymore?? I am extremely impressed and wanted to buy the pump from them anyway, just to support their business, but had to go and get my free pump. (And I successfully got it at the other place so saved a ton of money.) I would refer anyone to them for their customer service and expertise, and will happily shop here for any other nursing/baby needs.

This is a low end discount store, why is it then that a security guard needs to greet you when you…read morewalk in the door? Unsettling for sure. Every department is in disarray it's very time consuming to look through everything. Dressing rooms are falling apart. Needs maintenance for sure. Big discounts from original suggested price on cheaply made knock offs.

Not great. I typically am not a fan of Ross, but sometimes you get lucky and they have this or that…read morein a pinch that you couldn't find somewhere else. The clothes here are cheap an not well made, I don't usually buy them. Thumbing through, I didn't see much of a selection - same with shoes and housewares, no great finds. This store is really messy and disorganized, even some of the shelving is crooked. I don't want to bother spending much time looking around here, it just stresses me out and makes me want to leave. There are clothes and shoes strewn everywhere. The dressing room area looks dirty (I didn't dare wander into the bathroom). There is always a line here, and to make it as frustrating as possible, they cattle-car you into this line/maze made of low shelving with even more crap in them - it's impossible to find where this line starts, and a pain in the ass the climb over, squeeze past, and wade through all the people and crap blocking your access to it. The staff here doesn't have the best customer service, but I will say I bet it's because they are pretty unhappy at work and might be a little more willing to look more cheerful and do a better job if the management of this store was better. Ultimately I found what I was looking for - a cheap pair of Christmas socks.
