I would give the store zero stars if I could. Visited yesterday and had to wait for a dressing room while the sales girl was on her cell phone. Then waited in line with other customers while the salesgirl and the GM were chatting. While checking out the GM Genesis started arguing with me. told me she hopes my day gets better and I told her that I was having a great day and she says "like I said I hope your day gets better"and I told her I'm having a great day. I would just like to check out please. She continues to check me out slowly, telling me six more times I hope your day gets better. Literally arguing with me in front of all the customers. Telling me "well it doesn't seem like it." Got home and realized I didn't have my complete order because she was so busy arguing with me she forgot to ring everything up. The most horrible experience ever. My seven-year-old son was triggered. Skip this store. read more

Negative stars for their garbage customer service. Not this location but the one at Scottsdale fashion square. They just "closed" their dressing room area, me and my girlfriend had a small handful of items and another customer with a few and the denied us from trying on clothes. Asked the manager to give us one minute as the store was 30 minutes from closing and plenty of customers and were told no. Literally had over a hundred dollars of items we would have bought and from the looks of the other customer the same. What happens when you put 18 year old girls in charge of a store. I remember being in love with this store in college back in San Diego so when I saw that we had one in Arizona, I made the 30 minute drive all the way out to Chandler just to see if it was as great as it was 8 years ago! It kind of reminds me of a cheaper version of American Apparel - but it is actually Australian Apparel. I was thoroughly disappointed because not only was the store SO tiny (about a quarter of what I remember), the quality seemed super cheap and the prices had gone up. I totally understand cheap clothing, but then have prices to match the quality like Forever 21 or similar concepts. They have mostly plain T's, jeans, etc. and since it is winter, they had a lot of sweaters and jackets. Their sale items were priced well but none of them caught my eye. I did try on one black sweater with bell sleeves but there was a snag right in the front - so the perfectionist in me couldn't spend $30 for a damaged sweater. Sadly, the 30 minute drive (hour round trip) was a waste of my time but I did get a 30 minute chair massage next door! read more

I visited this store Saturday November 30th around Noon to 1PM. Few observations: your employees were not monitoring the changing room. People would just stand there waiting to be noticed by your employees. One of your workers was slamming boxes around. In particular a ULine box was slammed on the floor startling unsuspecting clients. Greetings were inconsistent and I did not get one (yall hurt my feelings hahha). Upon checkout, we noticed we didn't get the $5.00 lounge sock offered to us. Twice we checked out and were not offered the special. Okay. Fine with me. Also, I asked one of your employees what the Better Cotton Initiative (it was on the tags in your products) was and he admitted he didn't know. It was just an odd experience. Cant say I would go back. Its staffed by children and it shows. read more

The store is cramped and it's difficult to find things. The fitting room was dirty and it appeared that no associate was looking after them. The clothes are definitely fast fashion and will only last you about a season. I was not impressed enough to go back. read more

My first visit to this store and I was quite pleased. I didn't know what to expect but I was on the search for matching hoodies for my daughter and her friend and didn't want the crop top, too grown for children even though it's marketed to them style. The name of the store is what caught my attention. It's pretty unassuming from the outside but low and behold - a nice selection of hoodies...and on sale! 40% off! BONUS! The service was friendly and the store was clean. It's right in Chandler Mall - upper level near Nordstrom's. read more

I liked the store until my girlfriend got racially profiled here. An employee accused us of not buying a charm on her phone when whole time we bought it the previous day. She literally said "I saw you put in on your phone" when in reality she didn't. If she wanted to check the cameras by all means, no one wants to steal a $6 charm. read more

Absolutely loved the store and the service. The employees were so kind and helpful. We came out of the store with a bundle of clothes we loved and really enjoyed the charity side of the store. I drove 30 minutes just to pick up my favorite sweats. I went to the counter to pay. Nobody was there. So I waited. Someone finally came up and said I will help you shortly. She finally rang me up. Was very rude and acted as if I inconvenienced her. I told her have a good day she ignored it. My purchase was finally complete and I was happy to get out of there. She told the next Customer they'd have to wait for someone else. Next time I will order online or go somewhere else. read more

I like the clothes and merchandise here. But sorry to say this is not a very family friendly or even a decent place if you don't want to hear horrible music. Came here twice in the last three months and the music playing was so violating! I had my three year old with me and left without buying the clothes I had in my hand. I know a lot of places cater to the younger crowd, but if I brought my teens to the mall I would definitely not allow them in that store! read more

STAY AWAY!! My wife was given a gift on Christmas (some jeans) that are from this Cotton On location. When my wife went to try the jeans on, they we a little too small. The jeans came with a gift receipt and we hadn't removed any tags so we took them back, hoping to be refunded seeing as the person who bought the jeans for my wife paid for them with cash. After talking this over with the Store Manager, he explained in a very rude tone that we could not return the pants neither for a cash refund nor for a store credit, but that we would have to exchange them. David then told us that because these pants are being sold at a discount now that we would not get a credit for the amount that was originally paid for the jeans! (Keep in mind these jeans were literally bought 5 days before we were trying to return them). I proceeded to ask for an explanation and see if there was anything that could be done. Rudely, he said no and then looked away and continued doing what he was doing before we had apparently interrupted him. At this point I turned to my wife in dis-belief and asked "Do you want to just look around and see if you can find something else?" My wife, who was rightfully frustrated at this point, told me she was just so fed up with everything that she did not want to continue to look around Cotton On. The Store Manager then interrupted us and said "I am now going to decline service to you both and ask you to leave for being disrespectful...." Is this moron serious? I asked "how are we being disrespectful?" he said that we were swearing at him and calling the store names!! I then asked him "what words did I say and what names did I call your store?" He smirked sarcastically and said if I didn't leave that he would be calling security!! I am still shocked by the way we were treated by this Store Manager who is on some kind of power trip. I worked in retail for a few years, I know that some stores have policies that are pretty strict and employees can't do anything about them, but why couldn't that be his response? The Store Manager literally made my wife and I feel as if we were trying to commit felony crimes by returning my wife's jeans. SO needless to say, my wife and I will not be returning to this store ever again and we recommend that you don't either. Not only is their customer service horrible, but their clothes are nothing to rave over either. read more

I had not been in for a couple of years so I wanted to check it out again. The sale signs are what drew me in. My brother and I were checking out the sales racks and the male employee was funny and chatty. We made our selections and made ourselves to the register. There was another employee, Marissa (thats what my receipt said). She was very rude and it seemed like us being there, was inconveniencing her. Before the transaction I asked her if she would like me to take the clothes I was buying off the hangers, she said "yeah", she didn't smile, didn't say hello, didn't ask anything. All she said was my total. She needs a change of attitude if she's going to work in retail. The store is fun and there's a lot to look at at good prices, but that employee kills the vibe. read more

The clothes here use to be one of the best selections in the area. Recently they have changed there style so some weird hipster stuff which highly dissapoints me. The clothes are still good and the customer service here is phenomenally okay. Not good but okay, some employees are pleasant and have great attitudes as in some don't even welcome you and if they do it is very vague. The manager is really along with the girl who controlled the door on Black Friday in 2018. There was no good deals maybe a dollar or two marked off but I will return to this establishment in hopes of less hipster wired clothing in the near future. read more

Extremely rude staff. There have been multiple occasions where I entered the store & was not even acknowledged and could not get someone to open a dressing room for me so I just left. Still not acknowledged as I was walking out. The two girls working at the time were too busy speaking to one another. I recently went in and the girl working immediately gave me attitude. Recent experience: I had purchased a shirt at a different location and did not end up wearing it so I was hoping to refund or exchange it. The girl told me that because the tag was not attached I could only exchange it which I understood. However she continued to speak to me with an attitude & in a demeaning tone as if I was insisting on returning it. I ended up not finding anything & asked if I could just get store credit instead & she said it was fine. A male worker was in the process of putting the credit on a gift card for me when he had a question about something. The girl rudely came up and spoke to the guy in a demeaning manner as well making him feel stupid and making me feel uncomfortable for witnessing it. My experiences have made me not want return ever again. Management needs to hire better staff. read more

went in a few weeks ago and i had a dress to return that was too big, i was greeted by the tall guy that works there and he made the returning process super easy and quick. he was really nice, and told me in advance that there was going to be the size i was looking for there. when checking out, we actually engaged in a conversation and we ended up talking for a few minutes. it was nice to see good customer service. working in retail myself, i know what its like to have be a good worker and what its like to represent good customer care and he presented that excellently, he's actually been there before and I've had a good experience. the store as a whole was really neat and tidy and everything there was easy to find. i had help getting into the dressing room which i know is sometimes an issue when they can be locked, but i didn't run into that at all. i will definitely be back again:) read more
